Send us a textEver watched a client grasp exactly why their thinking patterns are problematic, only to see them slide right back into those same behaviors? This powerful episode tackles that universal coaching challenge head-on, revealing why willpower and awareness alone aren't enough to create lasting transformation. We explore how change resistance isn't actually a problem to fix but a doorway to deeper growth. Your clients' familiar patterns feel emotionally safe, even when logically they know these patterns no longer serve them. Their nervous systems require time to harmonize with their evolving mindset. The breakthrough comes when we recognize that sustainable change happens through identity shift, not just cognitive reframing.Rather than asking clients what they want to think differently, we suggest a revolutionary approach: asking who they're choosing to become. This subtle but profound shift connects behavior change to identity rather than willpower. As coaches, our most powerful role isn't pushing clients toward predetermined outcomes but partnering with their natural growth process. When clients connect their changes to their emerging sense of self, resistance diminishes and transformation accelerates.Whether you're a seasoned coach or just beginning your coaching journey, this episode provides actionable strategies for helping clients move beyond understanding into embodiment. We invite you to book a free strategy session with us to discover your unique coaching style and learn how to create the conditions for your clients' authentic transformation. Hi Sweet, Beloved.Let's talk love, a certain kind of love. Resonance is a harmonic truth - a moment of alignment with your source. We have encouraged you time and again to look for resonance in your decisions.Resonance is harmony, a blending of your human self and your divine essence.Feeling harmonious just feels good, safe and right.Like that time you had a intimate partner, and everything felt harmoniously loving and as a perfect fit, a choice, cause and effect that blends seamlessly.Yet we mostly make choices from fear, loneliness, sadness, anger, or other dissonant statesThese are not in harmony - they are misaligned with the love and of source. In moments of discontent....Always ask yourself, "Why am I not in harmony?"The truth will reveal itself, but you must notice the difference between being in tune and out of tune. When two voices sing in perfect harmony, the music is captivating. But dissonance creates a jarring, agitating sound.Your choices follow the same principle.I demonstrate this every Holographic Reading I offer to clients. We pick up the scattered notes, which are shadow archetypes and unconcious contracts at the root. When we are in resonance, we attract what you prefer. When we are not, we draw in what we do not prefer.Simple.Compounding.Real.So then, by sensing your resonance, you can discern whether you are moving toward or away from your desired reality.Resonance is a vibrational signal, an alignment that can be felt.If you attune to it, you will start to create a habit in your auric field of conscious awareness and emotional harmony.Wherever you feel dissatisfaction, negativity, or suffering, you are out of tune with what is available to you.Fortunately, there is a guiding source that references your highest good.Your soul's intention is to manifest an expression resonant with universal love. Each of your chakras represents a musical note, creating inner harmony as you become attuned. If something feels unfulfilling, it means a thought form within you is dissonant. This dissonance is a call to realignment - a signal that something blocks your flow.Resonance is the Universe's call to you.By heeding it, you open to the magic of creation and arrive at deeply satisfying experiences. The vibrational hum of resonance is what everyone is drawn to - a call that matches the Universe's love.If you'd like to fall back in love, with you - your soul and higher intelligence to guide you and support you -Reach out for a Holographic Akashic Reading. It would be a honor to be with you in resonance. Through the use of intuitive psychic gifts, I connect with your spirit guides and deliver a highly detailed blueprint that offers both visual and descriptive insights, empowering you to release what no longer serves you.Feel free to hit reply to schedule - or - hit the link. If you're a woman in midlife, chances are, you've experienced at least one situation where you were at an event where there was something decadent to eat. And because you were on a diet or trying to lose weight, or eat healthier, you were tempted. Maybe you were out to dinner with your spouse or friends and they brought out this tantalizing dessert tray, or maybe it was the monthly office birthday party where they were serving Costco cake, or maybe it was over the holidays and every party you went to, they had your favorite Christmas cookies that reminded you of how your Grandma's kitchen smelled the entire month of December. And even though you kept telling yourself, I really shouldn't eat this… you give in to temptation. And then, you felt guilty. In this episode of Your Midlife Comeback Story, we're going to answer the question… what separates the woman who is trying to eat better, but continues to do these mental gymnastics in her head, and then falls back into the same habits and the woman who effortlessly eats the foods that enables her to achieve sustainable weight loss? The phenomenon that I'm about to share, I actually experienced back in 1999 when I lost 40 pounds, and I've been able to keep my weight within a 10 pound range of my ideal weight for the last 25 years, even though I've gone from being a competitive mountain bike racer to surviving breast cancer treatment and experiencing Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism, a sluggish thyroid, and being knee deep in midlife and menopause. You're probably going to be surprised at how simple this behavioral model is.If you are interested in learning more about what's been preventing you from achieving sustainable weight loss, along with why you keep falling back into the same habits, then keep listening, because this episode is for you. And at the end, you're going to walk away with one very specific action step that you can take today, to start making your journey to better health more effortless and sustainable. Together, we will unpack:What separates women who continue to struggle with trying to eat better, from those who seem to effortlessly eat the foods that enables them to achieve sustainable weight loss? What are the 5 Logical Levels, and how can you apply them to achieve sustainable weight loss? How can you pull yourself out of returning to the same old habits? How does your identity relate to your weight set point?Connect with Holly:▶️ FREE TRAINING - WTH HAPPENED TO MY MIDLIFE HEALTH? - https://academy.pinkfortitude.com/register-for-master-midlife-health▶️ REGISTER FOR THE *FREE* PRIVATE PODCAST SERIES - YOUR COMEBACK EXPERIENCE - podcastholly.com▶️ Follow Holly Bertone on Instagram - @holly.bertone ▶️ More resources for Your Comeback Story - yourcomeback.coach If today's episode resonated with you, be sure to hit the follow button where you are listening and also tap those 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and leave a great review because it would mean so much to me to hang out with you every week and because it will also help to get this podcast and our wonderful message out to more listeners! Houston Astros manager Joe Espada joins The Matt Thomas Show following a 3-3 road trip against the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants. Framber Valdez started on the mound Wednesday, recording a season-low four innings while allowing eight hits and five earned runs. Espada said it "was [his] decision" to pull Valdez and rely on the bullpen. The Astros lost 5-3 against the Giants, dropping the series 2-1. With the Seattle Mariners beating the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday, the Astros are now 8.5 games back from the lead in the AL West. "It's not where we want to be," Espada said. "Adversity is what makes and builds your character," but there's "no time to feel sorry for anyone." The Astros return to Minute Maid Park for a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers starting Friday. "This storm shall pass, and it will." The Astros offense has suffered without Kyle Tucker or Yainer Diaz in the lineup; however, Diaz is "moving in the right direction" and is expected to play Friday. Tucker will not play Friday but could return sometime "over the weekend." Jon Singleton appeared in the lineup Wednesday, batting in the cleanup spot as the designated hitter, but went 0-4 at the plate. Jose Abreu started at first base and batted eighth, going 0-3 with his at-bats. "Jon deserves an opportunity to play," but "we need to get some production" from first base. "We need Jose to turn a corner," Espada said.
