This episode features Donica Knight Holdman who is one amazing lady. Music always came first for her and she missed events and relationships because of that choice. Yet, the dreams she’s seen come true are tremendous gifts. She’s a songwriter and singer who’s the artist featured on Stacked Keys Podcast “Stomp” intro and exit music. This tune talks about having a pocket full of dreams and you can see how such words could come out of Donica because she lives her dreams. You will laugh out loud at some of the experiences she shares. Donica wrote this tune with Jim Huff -- he and the song hold a piece of her heart. Life has taught Donica a lot about people and connected her through the experiences she’s had—we talk about how consuming social media can be when you’re an artist, but how it can also impact another person for good. Today, Donica is a flight attendant and is married to a pilot — she loves what life is handing her right now. You’ll hear an independence in Donica that is encouraging and you’ll want to keep up with her as she soars through life—you just might be on a flight of hers one day. Tune in! Song used by permission “Stomp” written by Donica Knight Holdman and Jim Huff

Tom Holdman currently faces the biggest challenge of his career – how to depict thousands of years of world history in the 200-foot stained glass wall his studio is creating for Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah. Holdman, artist and CEO of Holdman Studios, is a man on a mission, determined to complete all 80 panels for his masterwork, Roots of Knowledge (RoK), by the end of October 2016. His monumental masterpiece depicts the most important advances in human knowledge and civilization, inspiring individuals to reach their full potential while illuminating stained glass as one of the highest art forms on earth. In this conversation with both Holdman and lead artist Cameron Oscarson, we learn how the creative team functions, how the windows were designed, painted, and fabricated, and how the team will meet the great race to the finish line of completion.
