Their distinct blend of reggae, rock, funk and soul has established them as one of the premier acts in New Zealand. L.A.B's sixth album, L.A.B VI will be out 23 February 2024.Dallas Tamaira is a singer and musician born in Christchurch, raised in Kaikōura and now based in Wellington, New Zealand. He's occasionally known by the alias Joe Dukie, but is best known as the vocalist for the internationally renowned urban pasifika and dub group Fat Freddy's Drop, which he co-founded in 1999. He's just dropped his new solo EP, Levels.Anna Coddington is a multi-award winning songwriter, singer and producer from Raglan, New Zealand, currently living in Auckland, who has released four critically acclaimed albums to date. She also has an MA in linguistics, is currently studying for a law degree, and is a 2nd dan black belt in kyokushin karate.Allen Stone is an American soul and R&B singer and musician, based in Spokane, Washington. He is a pastor's son who grew up on gospel music, and by the time he was 11, he'd picked up a guitar and written his first song. He has released five albums to date.

Dallas Tamaira or as he is better known as, Joe Dukie, is the vocalist for the New Zealand group Fat Freddy's Drop.Stepping out of the rush in 2020, Dallas Tamaira presents ‘No Flowers', his first solo release in over two decades.Under the moniker of ‘Joe Dukie', Dallas has risen to international acclaim as the velvet-smooth vocalist for Fat Freddy's Drop. A true juggernaut, Fat Freddy's Drop is recognised worldwide as one of the finest live draws.The band's tour across Europe and the UK came to a dramatic halt earlier this year, and upon his return to New Zealand, Dallas had to shift down a gear for self-isolation and lockdown. A year ago, the idea was born to create podcasts with the direction of genres Indie-Dance and Deep-House. It was a great year for our project and we are proud of it. Since then, much has happened, the birth of new ideas, inspiration and amazing podcast. All of us share a love for music, so we have prepared for you a magic edition dedicated to our day of birth. This is a truly unique work of the most talented musicians in the world. First of all we would like to commend the work of Martin Dawson. A good man and musician who has left us. His music is playing and will play in the hearts of many. Thank you Martin. Amazing track called Think About It feat. Nicholas Ryan in a remix of Maceo Plex. It is worth noting the excellent work guys Guy Mantzur, and Step, which is still interested in the many lovers of good sound. A track called All Over Music in the remix of Argy. Stunning remix by Dusky on a new track called from Close My Way feat. Joe Dukie. Work from Burnski, Robert James track called Malibu, makes pereslushivat and admire. Summer and easy to track Rodriguez Jr. called Satellite, close your eyes and enjoy this voice. Of course how can we forget about the real bomb from Franck Roger, Mandel Turner called After All, it's a real hit. Very cool remix of Sebastian Davidson from Metodi Hristov on track Want You Back. Of course we all remember the summer of last year and the track from Huxley called Let It Go. Another good point of connection with the track from Edu Imbernon, Triumph called Mystery Inside, one of the best tracks of 2012. Now, not so much the words of notable updates. New hit on the label Off Recordings from the guys Silky, Barber, Climbers called Frozen surely you will enjoy. A new track from Josh Butler called Got A Feeling in the remix from the guys Pleasurekraft Bontan and very energetic. And of course the incredibly original remix from HOSH on a track called Keep Control of Sono.

Hi all, Some of you may know I've relocated from Sunny Scotland to a rather damp Sydney, Australia. While trying to get to grips with this new city and the Aussie rate of pace (pretty chilled) I've found this old nugget of a mix I recorded back in 2005. It was a promotional mix I would give away on CD at gigs in Edinburgh (the old way of sharing music and promotion. It's all much easier now with file sharing, podcasts, facebook and what have you. Some big tunes for me back then are included in the mix.
