When your business is heading towards a cliff's edge, you can simply deal with all the cancellations and liabilities—or you can put a small team together and figure out a way to pivot your offering. Going forward, he believes events of the future will be a hybrid affair, blending the reach and accessibility of an online experience with a smaller scale, more focused offline set-up.
Psalm 62 (repost from Kew Baptist Church first Sunday of 2020 - 5th January). It's around 1000BC and King David is the midst of some stomach-churning political fray. His enemies speak well of him but they are ultimately untrustworthy. He looks to the future and recognises that power and wealth will not last. Where will David go? Where will David's soul find relief?

One thing I love about the hotel industry is that so many high ranking executives started at the bottom. This is certainly the case for Olivier Harnisch, who left school at 16 and was a waiter that wasn't even allowed to address customers. Now he's the CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group, with Dubai's most recognisable hotel brands including The Address, Vida and The Rove.
