THE THESIS: The Left has destroyed the election system in all but a few States and, yet, Professional Republicans refuse to state that fact for fear we will not trust that ruined system. We need to fight a duel battle in this era where ideas, performance and reality no longer matter in elections and only harvesting spammed ballots from, at best, single party issue people infantilized and traumatized by government and media. Election security, as practiced in Florida, keeps ideas and performance at the forefront of elections, we cannot stop fighting for that. In utterly ruined state systems like Arizona, Wisconsin and Washington we must adapt, but we cannot do that using the lies and manipulations of our opponents and The Enemy. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: The Lord has done it many times. He leaves us to our own devices until enough of us are shaken to our knees. Psalm 81:12“So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices.”Romans 1:2424 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.THE NEWS & COMMENT:Mollie Hemmingway states what is obvious to us but not to the Professional Republicans. [AUDIO] - "Republican leadership really failed Republican voters. . . elections are not run anymore like they were in the 1980s. . . " - @MZHemingway on #Midterms2022 results.. . . and, every step added to the voting process introduces more chances for stupidity and error and far more ways to introduce fraud. We used to walk into a polling place, produce ID, get it checked, get a ballot, vote and insert it in a locked box. Then, that box was unlocked in front of witnesses and the vote tabulated. Think of all the Rube Goldberg steps in the broken system of today. This guy is a truly nice man and a Professional Republican. He worships an utterly decimated voting system in the separate Country of WA. Republicans and many in “conservative” media will scream “conspiracy theorist!”--the new “racist!”--if you dare suggest an insane system like this is perfect for fraud. What's wrong with Maricopa County?Cue the confidence-inspiring paper shuffler . . .[AUDIO] - Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman: "Why is it taking the amount of time it's taking [to count the votes]. First of all, it's very standard. This is how things work in Arizona.". . . It's not how it worked in the entire State of Florida, Sir, In Houston:[AUDIO] - WATCH: Harris County GOP lists out all the anomalies on Election Day that specifically occurred in Republican stronghold polling locationsIn Nevada: Cameras Go Dark At Vote Counting Facility In Key Nevada County. They can do whatever they want because no one is going to do anything about it.Around the Country. Julie Kelly: Let's review the insane mail-in ballot rules in various states. Wayyy back when I was a GOP precinct committeeman, obtaining, processing, and submitting absentee ballot was sacrosanct. (Also required part of duties). The invention of mass-spamming people ballots, the advent of paid and unpaid ballot harvesters, the drop boxes and appeal to the lowest involvement, fight or flight minded, emotional voters and all introduce many opportunities for fraud. When no ID is required, when sometimes no signatures are required and signature matching is subjective, when hundreds of thousands of ballots are “adjudicated” or “cured” [read: changed after the election], no one should trust that system. Yet, the Shiney Shoes worship it. [AUDIO] - “In 2020, you saw … Mark Zuckerberg pour[] hundreds of millions of dollars into nonprofits like the Center for Tech and Civic Life that were heavily skewed towards Democrat-majority areas,” said Federalist Staff Writer Shawn Fleetwood during an interview on Salem News. “Essentially these funds were used to drive Democrat get-out-the-vote operations, so there are absolutely legitimate issues with our elections that deserve to be looked at and addressed.”Josh Halwey and others are finished worshiping a dead system. Josh Hawley Blasts GOP Leadership for Midterm ShowingFraudsters pay for fraud. This crypto-crash is a reminder that our Mockingbird Media has no problem pumping make believe and the guy who started this had no issue buying Democrats with utterly conjured funds. Do you know Sam Bankman-Fried? This the crypto found of FTX which just went bankrupt, hedged fraud & possible Ponzi-like disaster! He also gave over $40 MILLION to Dem causes this cycle. This is literally what we are up against. Lib coffers filled with stolenIn Florida, where the system has been largely fixed, ideas and morality still work. DeSantis is not perfect, not by a long stretch, and he locked people down at the beginning of the Great Reset cloaked in Covid. But, watch this and tell me the man did not learn his lesson. He seems completely repentant to me. [AUDIO] - This was when DeSantis lifted the ban on nursing home visits. A person struggling with keeping people safe but at what cost. Humanity. Decency. THIS is what we need in the White House & what has been missing for so long.

McCarthy, the House GOP leader, was running for Speaker of the House while attempting to create a red tsunami, but it never materialized. In a GOP-led Congress, NRCC Chair Tom Emmer was attempting to establish himself as the House Majority Whip. However, he and the committee he oversaw merely managed to secure enough seats to put someone in charge of the party. The national GOP political machine is also inextricably linked to the former president, who, prior to the election, disseminated a letter exaggerating the number of rallies, candidate endorsements, funding totals, and primary victories for which he claimed responsibility.

As results from Election Day continue to trickle in, it's still not clear whether Republicans or Democrats will control the next House and Senate, and by how much. However, it's clear that Republicans suffered both major wins and major losses in midterm elections across the nation."Some of the big wins we saw in Florida. [Gov. Ron] DeSantis got about 19 [percentage points] over [Democrat Charlie] Crist, which is a massive margin. This is a state that Donald Trump carried in 2020 by 3 points," says Noah Weinrich, communications director for Heritage Action for America, the grassroots arm of The Heritage Foundation. (The Daily Signal is Heritage's multimedia news organization.)"Historically before that, it's been seen as a swing state," Weinrich says of Florida. "It's the bellwether."On the flip side, however, Republicans suffered a loss in Pennsylvania's Senate race, where Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, a Democrat, defeated Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Republican. "So some of the losses we saw ... were in really tight races like Pennsylvania. Dr. Oz lost against John Fetterman. I haven't checked the final margin, but it was only by, I believe, 2 points or something like that," Weinrich says."Now, that was a state that President Trump won very narrowly in 2016 [and] lost very narrowly in 2020," he says.Weinrich joins this episode of "The Daily Signal Podcast" to discuss the wins and losses of Election Day, the races still up in the air as of the podcast's recording, and key issues that drove voters to the polls. This midterm election is a nail-biter. Very tight congressional races across California could determine which party takes control of the House and Senate. California voters are also choosing a governor and an attorney general as well as other statewide officers, and deciding whether to enshrine the right to an abortion in the state's constitution. As the results come in, we review the outcomes of key races across the state and hear your reactions. We called this as a possibility back in October: https://www.fulcrumnews.com/blog/2022/10/11/midterms-predictions-2022-its-possible-there-will-be-red-losses-not-a-red-wave And as is often the case, FULCRUM appears right: Trump's months of preparation in most cases seems to have hurt candidates, not helped them. Dr. Oz lost in Pennsylvania; the guy isn't even a populist or conservative, and Trump spent valuable time promoting him for weeks! And Dan Cox lost the governor's race here in Maryland… the paranoid-seeming Trump fan didn't connect with voters on any of the key local issues. Among other high profile failures, it's clear that post-presidency Trump isn't the big tent attraction the GOP was hoping he would be; instead he appears to be voter repellent… conservatives even lost some seats that were perceived as a “sure thing” for the party this year.
There is a real chance that Joe Pinion may beat Chuck Schumer in New York.

Tuesday's midterms are among the most consequential elections in decades. As Democrats and Republicans fight for control, there's one group with millions of eligible voters that both parties desperately want: Generation Z.Pundits point out that this generation is on track to be better educated, more ethnically diverse and more liberal than others. That would seem to bode well for the Democratic party and spell doom for the Republicans. But both parties wonder: Will Gen Z actually go out and vote?Read the full transcript here.Host: Gustavo ArellanoGuests: L.A. With hundreds of elections deniers running in the midterms, democracy is on the ballot this fall. The team at the States United Democracy Center is at the forefront of efforts to ensure free, fair, and secure elections in 2022, 2024, and beyond. Cofounders Norman Eisen, Joanna Lydgate, and Christine Todd Whitman join us this week to talk about how they're doing it in states across the country and how everyone can support their efforts.Through legal, policy, and communications work, States United is fighting back empowering state leaders as they defend elections. These officials are the frontline champions in the battle for our democracy. Governors help enshrine voter protection into law, and attorneys general defend those laws—along with election results. Secretaries of state oversee elections, and law enforcement leaders make sure they are safe and free from violence. States United's mission is to bring these leaders together to protect elections, prevent political violence, fight disinformation, and pursue accountability for those who step outside the bounds of our democracy.Eisen is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, former Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and Special Counsel to the White House for Ethics and Government Reform. Lydgate is the former Chief Deputy Attorney General of Massachusetts. Whitman is the former Governor of New Jersey and was the Environmental Protection Agency Administrator in the George W. Have you ever heard of the saying “When it rains it pours”? Well, Kayne has been in a monsoon because the waters are coming every which way. Talented but controversial, Ye has been in the spotlight for a lot of good, but also a lot of bad. It seems lately, now more than ever, he's been on a downward spiral to rock bottom. In a matter of hours & days, Kanye went from being valued at over a Billion $'s to losing much of it when he went on a public rant on how he could say anything he wanted and there would be no consequences for it. Well, the Antisemitic comments were truly the straw that broke the camel's back and the flood gates opened. Dropped left & right, by some of the biggest brands in the world, Ye is now on the outside looking in. We're gonna get into some of the things he's been doing, why he's been doing them, and what we think would be an effective solution for him moving forward.Midterms are coming up! The question: Do you want to amend the Missouri Constitution to:allow the General Assembly to override the current constitutional restrictions of state investments by the state treasurer; andallow state investments in municipal securities possessing one of the top five highest long term ratings or the highest short term rating? This basically shifts greater discretion to the State Treasurer to make decisions on how to invest money. It COULD have a monetary benefit to the state of a couple million dollars, but that is not a guarantee. The reality here is that there is a huge push by the GOP to end what they call “woke” investments - basically divest all public money from anything that looks like green energy or touches a company that might be friendly to equity and equal rights. This one is an EASY NO for me, we don't need this change. It's a political move - not a public benefit move. Just another way for the GOP to fight a culture war that they have invented. Current Text of Constitution in question: https://ballotpedia.org/Article_IV,_Missouri_Constitution#:~:text=Section%2015,-Text%20of%20Section&text=The%20state%20treasurer%20shall%20be,by%20the%20department%20of%20revenue.Proposed Change: https://house.mo.gov/billtracking/bills211/hlrbillspdf/0587H.03T.pdfAmendment 4: this one is really simple - yet again we have the missouri GOP majority trying to take over local control wherever they can to keep democrats from having any say in policy - Amendment 4 would change a current provision of law that requires the city of Kansas City to provide 20% of its city budget to the city policy department by requiring that be a 25% allocation. Why? Because the KC City counsel, a local government body made up of locally elected official took money from the budget and that made people made. It's really that simple. Republicans from hours away want to tell the folks in KC how to spend their money. Another very easy NO vote for me. Amendment 5: This amendment moves the control of the national guard into amore direct line from the Governor's office. I've seen democrats opposed to this one, I've also talked to folks involved with the national guard and overall this amendment seems to make Missouri's set up similar to nearly every other state - I understand the argument from some Democrats that this is just a political power move here, I'm not so sure that argument holds water. That being said, I'm also not sure I see the point of this amendment OTHER than to give the Governor more power. And for that reason alone, Im a NO vote on amendment 5, but I'm not sure in the end it truly matters which way this goes. Constitutional Convention: Missouri law requires that every 20 years the voters have a chance to vote to have a constitutional convention. The law provides for procedures and, in reality, would be quite a show. It would be interesting, but unlikely to be worth much. Even IF the convention came up with proposals, all of those proposals would then have to go to the voters for ratification. I've seen a handful of Dems pushing this issue as a chance to use the ballot box for issues - in a reliance that MO voters continue our streak of supporting more progressive measures when they are not tied to a political party - but I think that is a drastic miscalculation of how the parties will interact with proposed amendments. I'm a NO on this one. Despite Joe Biden beginning his presidency in 2021 by declaring that ‘America is back' – and that he'd reverse the previous administration's efforts to put ‘America First' – the present midterm campaign-trail is not focusing on international issues. Instead, November's congressional election is being posed by some as a battle for the ‘soul of the nation'. When first elected, Biden promised a new Cold-War narrative that would return America to its global activist role. However, nearly two years later, the US has struggled to influence any events regarding the war in Ukraine decisively. Meanwhile, China's Belt and Road Initiative is beginning to challenge the economic influence of the US in some parts of the world. Despite these negative trends, the US remains the world's largest economy, with a global influence far beyond that of China, and many US weapons are proving effective against Russia in Ukraine. So, to what extent is America really declining?Do Americans themselves even care about remaining the preeminent power when midterm debates focus so much on internal fights over divisive cultural questions like school choice, abortion, and voting issues? Much of the mainstream political discussion in the US is caught up in the culture wars, with rows over race, gender ideology and so-called ‘woke' politics seeming to divide communities. Will the upcoming midterms, which crucially set the stage for the 2024 presidential elections, hasten or hinder America's apparent international decline? Will an electoral challenge resolve or exacerbate internal divisions? What is happening in America, and what consequences will it have for the rest of the world?SPEAKERS:Yaron Brook, chairman of the board, Ayn Rand Institute; host, The Yaron Brook Show; co-author, In Pursuit of Wealth: the moral case for financeJack Garland, student, University of California, Los Angeles; writer and editor, Bruin Political ReviewDr Richard Johnson, writer; lecturer in US politics, Queen Mary, University of London; author, The End of the Second Reconstruction: Obama, Trump, and the crisis of civil rightsHelen Searls, chief operating officer, Feature Story News; founder, Washington Hyenas book club; Ulysses enthusiastCHAIR: Fraser Myers, deputy editor, spiked; host, The spiked podcastPRODUCER: Claire Fox, director, Academy of Ideas; independent peer, House of Lords; author, I STILL Find That Offensive! This live discussion from the Battle of Ideas 2022 took place on October 15, 2022 in London, UK. There's a lot to unpack when it comes to Alex Villanueva's path to becoming the top cop in Los Angeles County. And that's exactly what LAist Studios and KPCC do in a new five-part podcast series hosted by Frank Stoltze. Today, we play episode 1 of “Imperfect Paradise: Sheriff.”The show begins with a scene of a very strange press conference: Villanueva is threatening to open a criminal investigation into L.A. Times reporter Alene Tchekmedyian and Stoltze questions the sheriff about it. From there, Stoltze reflects on his time covering policing in L.A. County and explains how Villanueva is the product of a department that has been riddled with scandals for decades: racial profiling, jail violence and deputy gangs.Host: Frank StoltzeMore reading:Your guide to the L.A. All this action on the national stage has people asking, is Newsom low-key testing the waters for a presidential run in 2024? And if not, what's his endgame?
