Simpson, "Judgment Day" tells the tale of a superhero-run investigation and trial for one of their own who's been accused of murdering a teammate -- featuring characters from Rob Liefeld's Awesome Comics and Image Comics imprints, as well as weaving in a genre-rich historical tapestry referencing all of comic book history. Rob Liefeld LOVES COMICS, and we love him for it!

Is the mainstream comic book industry... learning? Or are they just desperate? It's being rumored that DC Comics is planning an "ultimate" universe of its own and is looking to bring in top talent to course correct and bring fans back to comics. But is it too little, too late? I mean, once Superman's son is sexxting his boyfriend in a bathtub in Action Comics, it's kind of hard to walk THAT back... ➡️ Tip Jar and Fan Support: http://ClownfishSupport.com ➡️ Official Merch Store: http://ShopClownfish.com ➡️ Official Website: http://ClownfishTV.com ➡️ Audio Edition: https://open.spotify.com/show/6qJc5C6OkQkaZnGCeuVOD1 ➡️ Gaming News: https://open.spotify.com/show/0A7VIqE3r5MQkFgL9nifNc Additional Context: In a recent episode of his podcast "Robservations," comic book legend Rob Liefeld discussed the rumored plans for a DC Comics "ultimate" universe. Liefeld, known for his work on iconic characters like Deadpool and Cable, provided insights into the potential direction DC Comics might be taking. According to Liefeld, this new initiative by DC Comics isn't a complete line reboot but could be likened to Marvel's Ultimate Universe in some respects. He mentioned that Marvel is also planning a significant rebranding and refocusing of its X-Men franchise post-Krakoa, generating considerable excitement in the comic book community. This parallels DC's rumored plans for a fresh take on their universe. Liefeld revealed that he has inside information suggesting DC is indeed working on an "ultimate reboot." He's been in contact with people who were approached to be part of this initiative, many of whom decided not to participate. Liefeld suggests that the project is not as far along as Marvel's X-Men rebranding but is definitely in the works. He also hinted at the possible involvement of Scott Snyder, known for his work on Batman, Justice League, and Swamp Thing, as well as being the showrunner for DC's Dark Metal events. Snyder's return to DC Comics for this new publishing initiative could be significant, as he has recently been focused on numerous creator-owned projects. Liefeld's comments suggest a strategic move by DC Comics to revitalize its universe, perhaps to recapture the interest of long-time fans and attract new readers. This approach seems to align with the broader trends in the comic book industry, where publishers are continuously exploring ways to innovate while honoring their rich legacies. These revelations from Rob Liefeld's "Robservations" podcast provide context for the current discussions and speculations surrounding the future of DC Comics and its characters. ROBSERVATIONS host, Robert Meyer Burnett, explains how storytelling works and the importance of setting - and sticking to - consistent rules that help define the world in which your story takes place. Rob reviews this article in Polygon ( https://thepgs.co/3KJG138), which celebrates modern Star Trek's abandonment of 50 years' worth of established structure in favor of putting the individual feelings of characters before the verisimilitude of the Star Fleet organization that serves as the main framing device for all Star Trek stories.By abandoning the very structure that defines 50 years' worth of stories, the writers of modern Star Trek are on the verge of breaking the backbone of the franchise itself. This short take is a segment from ROBSERVATIONS episode number 788, which streamed on February 12, 2022.
