- Ob močnem deževju Krka in Reka poplavljata, nekatere ceste so pod vodo.

Najljubša serija: Razdvojena med serijo Peaky Blinders in The gentleman, režiserja Guyja Ritchieja. Najbolj me nasmejijo francoske ali španske komedije in skandinavski trilerji.

A kakor ugotavljata novinarki in politični analitičarki Tanja Gobec, TV Slovenija, in Metka Majer, Pop TV, ni bilo leto 2024 nič kaj bolj posebno od zadnjih nekaj let. Bo pa toliko bolj zanimivo leto 2025, ko bodo parlamentarne volitve vedno bližje.

The CW is at a crossroads. Launched in 2006 by both CBS and Warner Bros, Nexstar Media Group is now the majority owner of America's fifth broadcast network.A lot of The CW's legacy shows -- Supernatural, Batwoman, Charmed, Legends of Tomorrow -- have been canceled. Longtime network head Mark Pedowitz has retired. The search was on for a new visionary leader.Enter Brad Schwartz, the clever Canadian who put the pop in Pop TV with the acquisition of CBC's Schitt's Creek. The Dan and Eugene Levy sitcom won nine Emmys in 2020, leading Pop to more wins that year than any other networks save HBO and Netflix. On the zoom call for this podcast, Toronto native Schwartz proudly showed his Canadian allegiance by sporting a Tragically Hip hoodie. He talks about interning on Saturday Night Live at 21 and learning from the master: Lorne Michaels. Schwartz later paid his dues as SVP and GM for the Much MTV Canada Group. Mentoring him there were Bell bosses Ivan Fecan and Susanne Boyce, with Boyce urging him to "Take Canada to the world."He took those lessons back to the States at the TV Guide Channel, helping to turn it into Pop TV. His new challenge: President of Entertainment Division at The CW.Does this mean more Canadian shows could soon be enjoying some southern exposure? Listen as Schwartz shares his thoughts.

Tonight, we host our very special guest: Stephen Tobolowsky! Stephen Tobolowsky is one of the leading character actors today. He has appeared in over 200 movies and television shows. He has played everything from Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day to Sandy Ryerson in Glee. He has appeared almost naked as Stu Beggs on Californication and has worn the same suit for seven years as Principal Earl Ball on The Goldbergs. Stephen currently appears as Dr. Leslie Berkowitz in the new generation remake of Norman Lear's One Day at a Time. Seasons 1-3, at present, are still available on Netflix. PopTV and CBS aired Season 4. Stephen has always been a storyteller. In sixth grade, he won his school's storytelling contest and over that summer won the award as best storyteller in the City of Dallas (13 years old and under division.) That impulse led him into writing. He wrote the screenplay for True Stories with David Byrne and Beth Henley. He wrote and performed his storytelling films Stephen Tobolowsky's Birthday Party and The Primary Instinct. His labor of love has been The Tobolowsky Files, created with producer David Chen. What began as a behind-the-scenes movie podcast has become a sometimes funny, sometimes compelling portrait of a human life - as described by Miles McNutt here. The Tobolowsky Files is available at tobolowskyfiles.com and on Apple Podcasts. Early episodes were also previously broadcast on KUOW 94.9 in Seattle, on WFPL in Louisville, KY and many stations through Public Radio International (PRI). He has two books of stories published by Simon & Schuster: The Dangerous Animals Club and My Adventures with God. #065 - This week on the Meg Rock Show, I was able to sit down with actress, AnnaLynne McCord. AnnaLynne is not only an actress, but she's a writer, a director, a producer, a activist + a ENERGY HEALER. She is known for playing the Vixen, darker nature roles. AnnaLynne first gained prominence in 2007 as the scheming Eden Lord on the FX television series, "Nip/Tuck". Followed by credits on CW's 90210, TNT's Dallas, Stalker on CBS, FOX's Jerry Bruckheimer produced pilot, Lucifer, POPTV's Comedy, and so much more. The reason I had AnnaLynne on my podcast is not only because she is all things film, but she is also a Reiki Practitioner. Reiki (霊気, /ˈreɪki/) is a Japanese form of energy healing, which is a subset of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. She was raised in Georgia in a strict/ conservative, Christian home. We talk quite a bit about the Bible. AnnaLynne now as an adult sees God, Source, Creator, The Universe through the eyes of infinite love and she credits energy healing + spirituality of helping her heal from the traumas of her childhood. She has done so much energy work to heal her inner wounds (physical/ sexual/ emotional trauma), so that she can, in turn, heal others + the world! She is truly a gift to this world! LOVE her.... You will too! AnnaLynne is the Founder of "THE LOVE STORM" a campaign that raises awareness for those victimized by human trafficking and sexualized violence. Join Dug and Murray in unpacking what it takes to succeed in magic. Murray is one of the nicest and hardest working people out there and he backs it up with talent!!! Murray who is currently headlining at The Tropicana Resort & Casino, on the Las Vegas strip nightly, really made his mark as a household name when he exploded onto the entertainment scene after his successful run as a semi-finalist on NBC-TV's “America's Got Talent.” The #1 network summer series was viewed by over 22 million fans nationwide. Murray dazzled the judges: Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel by producing a Ferrari from thin air, transforming a girl locked in a cage into a 450 pound tiger and did the largest trick ever on “AGT” by vanishing an entire 1918 steam train locomotive in mere seconds. All of these illusions took place before a “live” and national “TV” audience, and brought standing ovations from the judges. Murray is one of YouTube's newest sensations with over 1 Billion online views. He is a regular guest star on History Channel's “Pawn Stars” as a Magic Expert. He has also been featured on over 20 Reality shows from America's Got Talent, Pawn Stars, CW's Masters of Illusion, SYFY's Wizard Wars, VH1's Celebracadabra, TLC's 4 Houses and What Not to Wear, Reelz Extreme Escapes, PopTV's Don't Blink, Master Chef, Top Gear, Hallmark's Home & Family, Nat Geo's Brain Games, and many many more! Murray John SawChuck was born in Burnaby, British Columbia – Canada and always had the passion for adventure. At age 3, he began swimming and golfing. He learned how to play the accordion, keyboard and saxophone at 5 years old. At age 7, he began dance lessons that included: ballet, Russian, swing, break dancing, ballroom, etc. He was an avid athlete and enjoyed participating in soccer, baseball, snow skiing, horseback riding, etc. Murray's parents, John and Arlene presented him with a Siegfried and Roy magic kit when he was 7 years old and his uncle and aunt Bill and Olga gave him a magic gift that changed his life. Murray envisioned himself as an entertainer incorporating magic, music and dance in his routines. He wanted to perform for audiences like his idols Dean Martin, Johnny Carson, Lucille Ball, Danny Kaye and Phyllis Diller. As a teen, Murray had over 21 different jobs from bus boy to fixing bicycles, and lifeguard at local pools. He continued to entertain folks by dancing, playing the accordion and saxophone. He continued his studies and received a degree in Broadcast Communications and Journalism. When Murray was a young man he met Marvyn and Carol Roy, a.k.a. “Mr. Electric.” The couple had toured worldwide for over 50 years and mentored Murray while he grew from an accomplished magician to an international star. Murray was the only magician globally who invented a magic act that included the manipulation of a multitude of Compact Discs when he began his professional career called The CD Act! Murray has won over 32 awards for his performances nationally and internationally and received the title of “World Champion.” He has delighted audiences in theatres from Monaco and Paris to Las Vegas and the legendary Playboy Mansion. Today on The Neil Haley Show, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview New York Times Best Selling Author Celebrity Traci Lords. Ever since TRACI LORDS appeared in John Waters' teen comedy, Cry Baby opposite an also-then 19 year old newcomer, Johnny Depp, Traci has delivered role after memorable role right through to her being cast in the original American-Swedish comedy series, Swedish Dicks, opposite European superstar Peter Stormare and created by Stormare, Glenn Lund, Peter Settman, and Andrew Lowery. After a super successful debut season which launched last summer to unanimous critical lauds, the outrageous Swedish Dicks is back with season 2 premiering on PopTV beginning Saturday, July 28th with their signature twist -- indelible guest stars in each and every episode with Keanu Reeves returning this cycle. We'd love to arrange for series star, TRACI LORDS, to come in studio with your show the week of July 23rd. Traci's brilliant turn as 'Jane McKinney,' a private investigator and competitor of the show's protagonist (Stormare) in the Lionsgate TV series, is her best work yet. The plot which follows two unlicensed Swedish private investigators -- an aging ex-stuntman (Peter Stormare) stuck in the past and an overly optimistic Swedish DJ (Johan Glans) stuck in the digital world-- who are trying to make a living in Los Angeles (Stormare is best known as the sociopathic killer from Fargo) broaches a whole new season of the stars trying to solve some of the strangest and wildest cases L.A. has ever seen. (Note: "Swedish Dicks" season 2 .mov clip of Traci & Keanu Reeves is att'd.)
The versatile, talented, and ultra-creative Joey McIntyre joins THE BRINK OF MIDNIGHT PODCAST to share some of his most life-changing moments. From performing a duet with his sister at the young age of six, Joey McIntyre found comfort and joy on stage and, from that day, he hasn't stopped performing and growing as an artist. The youngest of nine kids, Joe cut his teeth singing and traveling with Neighborhood Children's Theater of Boston and a few years later would get a phone call from Maurice Starr to become the final member of New Kids on the Block. The rise of NKOTB nearly didn't happen without the sequence of some very key moments, from a standing ovation at the famed Apollo Theater, a Tampa Bay radio station deciding to spin the New Kids record, and so many more. Joe shares his unique insight during the beginning, rise, and initial band break-up during the context of grunge and early 90s. He has since gone on to star on Broadway ("Wicked"), release solo albums, write and perform in a one-man show, and play roles in TV series and in major films. He's taken up marathon running, as well, and his chilling account of the Boston Marathon bombing will move you. Joe is a fantastic example of creating a life based on passion and he's still doing what he loves today. NKOTB is on tour, has now been back together longer than they initially were, and Joe recently wrapped his TV comedy series "The Return of the Mac". Joe's insatiable hunger to create and grow is contagious and you just may find your inner artist wanting to emerge or re-emerge. As Joe states so eloquently, "nothing is random" and "experience is everything." For full show notes, visit: | Contact: | Connect: @brinkofmidnight (twitter, instagram, Facebook)
