Hi Bang Fam! What this? A surprise little gift for you, as we head into Festivus! Back in November Myf and Zan headed to Nagambie Lakes, a beautiful spot about 90 mins north of Melbourne, for a huge comedy weekender called Comedy In the Vines. We did a live version of Bang On, amongst stand up sets from Celia Pacquola, Dave Hughes, Geraldine Hickey, and Susie Youssef. It was very silly, it was a bit windy, and we definitely made a giant cut out of ourselves and forced Luke McGregor to play “pin the wine on Myf and Zan”… but we also had some wonderful Bang Backs with two very funny comedians and mates, and wanted to share that with you.So dive in, as Rhys Nicholson bangs on about a podcast Zan is absolutely bingeing this summer, and Luke… well… you should just hear it yourself.Oh, and we're very stoked that we'll finally be bringing Bang On LIVE to the whole country! We've just announced a huge national tour, visiting places we've never been before and bringing Bang On to capital cities and towns alike. We hope to see you at one of the shows. Until then, have a safe, restful, and beautiful New Years. Thank you for your love and support of Bang On this and every year. We love youse heaps. See you in 2024. xShow notes:Rhy Nicholson's Dish: https://www.penguin.com.au/books/dish-9781761046759Keys to the Kingdom: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/keys-to-the-kingdom/id1707091523Bang On LIVE shows: https://comedy.com.au/tour/bang-on-live-myf-warhurst-zan-rowe/Bang Back to us: bangon.podcast@abc.net.auBang On is an ABC podcast, produced by Double J. Let's just say when Susie Youssef agreed to come on the show, no one was expecting the direction this chat would go... Especially her. Closing out our month of horror with the Universal Monsters classic "Creature from the Black Lagoon" (1954). It is a real groundbreaking creature feature filmed in 3D signifying a historical shift from classic horror to the gimmickry that would dominate genre cinema up until the Hollywood New Wave. Next week we'll be discussing Alexei's favourite film that Cameron has never seen, "Saturday Night Fever". Alexei's $5 stand up show, Green Lights Comedy Nights with Susie Youssef, 28th October at The Gaelic Club in Surry Hills: RSVP HERE We're presenting WAYNE'S WORLD at The Golden Age Cinema in Surry Hills, 9th November: TICKETS HERE See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Mike swung for the stars and tried his hand at serious dramatic acting portraying the real life impresario of Studio 54, Steve Rubell, in Mark Christopher's "54: The Director's Cut". We're joined by master comedian Adam Richard to find out if this really is a forgotten gay classic or just a movie that left us flaccid (unhorny, baby). Check out Cameron's encore solo show at the Factory Theatre on 22nd of October: TICKETS HERE Alexei's $5 stand up show, Green Lights Comedy Nights with Susie Youssef, 28th October at The Gaelic Club in Surry Hills: RSVP HERE WAYNE'S WORLD at The Golden Age Cinema in Surry Hills, 9th November: TICKETS HERE Subscribe on iTunes, and give us a star rating (I recommend 5), and suggest another hyper-specific comedy actor podcast you'd like to here EG "Carving It Up!: The Official Dana Carvey Podcast".
