Supply Chain is Boring

This is part 2 of a 2 part interview with the Supply Chain Technology Company whisperer Greg Cronin. In part 1 we discussed how Mr. Cronin got into the supply chain space and the impact he has had. In this part 2 interview, Mr. Cronin comes out of retirement, again, and is excited about the supply chain technology market potential over the next five years. It all sounds pretty boring. So let's see if Greg can prove me wrong. Over his career, Mr. Greg Cronin has advised and led several companies to the next level of business expansion by identifying key pain points and creating successful solutions for customers. Companies include AutoStore, Honeywell Intelligrated, Quiet Logistics, Manhattan Associates, and McHugh/RedPrairie/JDA, among others. Cronin's know-how, in both the automated hardware and innovative “smart” software fields makes him sought after by emerging supply chain technology companies. Throughout his career, Greg has established and maintained a strong and loyal network of industry connections including former customers and peers, analysts, media, and consultants. In this two part interview we spoke with the Supply Chain Technology company whisperer, Greg Cronin, about his long and successful career in supply chain management and what the future holds. It also just happens he and John Hill, who we recently interviewed on Supply Chain is Boring are considered the fathers of the warehouse management system industry and you get the indication the competitive embers are still alive.   In part 1 Greg discusses how he got into supply chain management up through his multiple attempts at retirement. Be sure to listen through the end to hear bonus coverage to get a better understanding of Greg Cronin. It all sounds pretty boring. So let's see if Greg can prove me wrong.
