"Whom Shall I Fear?;" Isaiah 51:12-16
Pastor Dave delivered a powerful message titled "Whom Shall I Fear?" focusing on the theme of overcoming fear and recognizing God's presence in difficult situations. He used the Israelites' journey from slavery in Egypt as an example, highlighting how their fear could have led them back to bondage instead of freedom. Even when faced with insurmountable odds, such as Pharaoh's army pursuing them, the message emphasized that God hears our cries for help and facilitates our freedom. Ultimately, Pastor Dave encourages you to trust in God's plan, understand the importance of perseverance in faith, and not to retreat back into fear or past bondage.Exodus 14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So the Israelites did this.5 When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have let the Israelites go and have lost their services!” 6 So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him. 7 He took six hundred of the best chariots, along with all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them. 8 The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out boldly9 The Egyptians—all Pharaoh's horses and chariots, horsemen and troops—pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi Hahiroth, opposite Baal Zephon.10 As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Didn't we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians'? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.”Exodus 14:29 But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. 30 That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore. 31 And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.

Matthew 10:26-33 26 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground […] The post Whom Shall I Fear first appeared on Hope Christian Church.

Whom Shall I Fear by Ronald GilesI can only hope that the perception of my readers is not that they were being forced some sort of social orientation that I adamantly proclaim to be true. I am merely fulfilled and excited in sharing with my reader the fascination of my imagination unleashed by my own thought and perception. I still feel small when standing beside an ocean or standing at the foot of some majestic mountain. There is absolutely nothing narcissistic about any perceived intellectual value of my material. With my thought, I am like a kid who has Christmas every day and just can't wait until a session of show and tell at school. School being that outlet that provides a platform to adamantly present to the world, as they know it, a catharsis of grander and emotional joy one thinks will result in an elevated sense of elation in the people she will engage for years to come. The initial excitement of such sharing will, for many, carry over to be the impetus, of the great ones. Those who will entertain the world with the genius of their writing, the inspiration of their music. There are others that introduce the world to new and fascinating dynamics because of scientific discoveries and their ability to collect available resources and ascertain profound ways in which to utilize those resources. The mind itself being the apex of such resource and intelligence. I am sure that my collection of thoughts is a compilation from the stages of my life that resulted in untapped empirical knowledge and thought. I think I became truly infatuated with written expression at a very young age, during the time when the record company Motown was at its peak. The great Paul Anka wrote a lyric that sent me for a loop. He wrote that "memories are times that we borrow to use when we get to tomorrow." Where will the world be if discerning people stop sharing their thoughts…where will the world be if we all stop or refuse to share our emotional excitement and the gifts of joy that they have encounteredBorn and raised in the Kansas City area in the 60s, writing a book was never an inclination. Joined the military in August 1970. I think all the travel, while in service of my country, created in me such fascinating experiences, while at the same time, meeting a variety of people linked to as many cultures. When I retired from the military and the potential for so much travel lessened, I found that I still had a thirst and a hunger to know even more about people and things in the world, so I began to read. I acquired a zeal to share the newfound knowledge I got through reading, so I picked up the pen. All the time, feeling it to be a responsibility to pass on intellectual intuition, so I began to record all my thoughts, as well as spirited engagements with others, at which point my book Whom Shall I Fear was birthed. https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Ronald-Giles/dp/109806657X/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=&language=en_UShttp://www.ReadersMagnet.comhttp://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/rgilesrm.mp3

In these hyper-political times, what can we learn from other countries and their heads of state? What do their stories tell us about our own? Dr. EWART BROWN, MD is author of the memoir, “WHOM SHALL I FEAR? Pushing the Politics of Change.” A physician turned politician; his precipitous and contentious rise elected him PREMIER of BERMUDA. Serving from 2006-10, his signature slogan, “Doc delivers” and progressive agenda pushed against longstanding inequities in a Caribbean nation still under British colonial rule. From his support for Bermuda's largest labor union and secret negotiations with President Barack Obama's White House to provide asylum to four innocent Chinese Muslim Uighurs wrongfully detained at Guantanamo; encounters with music legend Bob Marley, Black Power! Stokely Carmichael (Kwame Toure), Rev. Al Sharpton, and the Congressional Black Caucus, to the tragedy of his sons' incarceration. WHOM SHALL I FEAR? It's a provocative, defiant title—and mantra—for an extraordinary personal, professional, and political journey.

Today we're talking about the Peace of God that axes umpire in your heart and guards your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.God gives you his Fruit of Peace. This Peace Comes from Living in Vital Union with Christ Jesus. The LORD Jesus Christ says to you who are weary with heavy burdens, and feeling overwhelmed: Come to Me and I will causeyou to rest in My Presence. I will Ease and Relieve and Refresh your soul. (Matthew 11:28).For the yoke of the world is sin, and its wages are death. (Romans 3:23) but my yoke is Light, for I AM gentle and humble in heart, so you will find relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet for your soul. (Jeremiah 6: 16) For my yoke is love, gracious and full of mercy, comfortable and pleasant is My Peace, making My Burden My burden is light and easy to bear. (Matthew 11:29-30)Jesus Christ tells you: I AM the Prince of Peace, My Peace I leave with you; My Own Peace I have given and bequeath to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Stop allowing yourself to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourself to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. For I have given you My Own Pace, Do Not Be Afraid or Worried. Your Life is Most Precious in My Site. (John 14:27)You Need My Peace Continue, Every Moment of the Day Just As You Need Me throughout the Day. When Things Are Going Good, There's a Tendency to Forget I AM with you and that you are Totally Dependent on Me. For it is no longer you who lives, but I AM living in you; and the life that you now live you live by faith, My Divine Persuasion. (Galatians 2:20)You are no longer your own, you were bought with A Precious Price, the Blood of Jesus Christ Himself. So even when you are faithless, I AM Faithful to you. (2 Timothy 2:13)I am who stirs you to come boldly to the throne of grace, to receive mercy for your failures and grace for your time of needs. (Hebrews 4:16) I know you need My Peace That Surpasses All Understanding, to guard your heart and mind in this chaotic fallen world. So I graciously give to you my glorious gift of peace, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God. Then you experience personally for yourself God's peace, which transcends all understanding that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)Listen, there is Never a Moment in Your Life you are Not Dependent Upon God. When you Realize it is He Who has Made you and Not you yourself. Your a Lamb in the Pasture of the Good Shepherd Who Laid Down His Life for you.-Ps 23:1-7, Ps 100:3When you are Experiencing Difficult Times in your Life, Make your FIRST Response: LORD, Help me! Tell Him Your Troubles, Listen and Watch for His Answers, Let His Peace Act as Umpire in your Heart and Mind, in All Decisions.-Col 3:15God is Always with you Whether you are Aware of His Presence or Not. You can Call Out to Him at Any Moment and Know He is with you; He Never Leaves you.-Heb 13:5Father, today I just want to thank You for Your Peace that passes all understanding. We live in a world full of stress, anxiety and chaos; so I am thankful that Your Piece Garrisons and Mounts Guard over My Mind and Heart and Gives Me Peace in My Life.Lord, We are dependent upon you, and need Your Peace so That We Do Not Give in to Feelings of Anxiety and worry throughout the Day. I asked that you empower us byYour Spirit in us, to manifest Your Fruit of Peace in and Through us, so we having our minds renewed in Your Peace are able to Trust Completely in You.Father draw us into Your Presence and wrap Your Loving Arms around us, empowering us to Trust You Fully and to Rest in Your Capable Arms.I asked Father that you develop the habit of bringing our concerns and worries about every circumstance and in everything to You, through prayer.I Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, I make my petitions (definite requests), with thanksgiving to You, continuely making my wants known to You. (Philippians 4:6)Be honest with God about how you feel. He already knows all about it. He can handle your anger, complaints and disappointments. He understands you to the fullest. He is aware of your human frailties (Psalms 103:14) then he is touch by the feelings of your infirmities. (Hebrews 4:15)Lord thank you for being my Life and my Salvation; Whom Shall I Fear? You Lord are My strength, of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord, You have said that You would never leave me nor for sake. Therefore, I believe in my heart and I say with my mouth without any doubt or fear that You are my Helper, and My Encourager. For Greater are You in me than he who is in the work.I am delivered from this present evil world. I am seated with you Lord Christ in the heavenly places. I reside in the Kingdom of God's dear Son. The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Galatians 1:4, Ephesians 2:6, Colossians 1:13, Romans 8:2)Thank you, for Your Peace. In Jesus Name. Amen.
