The episode of "Lights Out," titled "The Battle of the Magicians," immerses listeners in a spellbinding narrative that traverses themes of magic, death, and the fine line between belief and skepticism. The show begins with a classic magic trick, setting a whimsical yet eerie tone as the host engages the audience with a card trick while foreshadowing the enchanting story that follows. The invitation to explore the mystical and the unknown serves as a prelude to the unfolding drama filled with tension and supernatural elements. As the story progresses, Mr. Saladin, a skilled investigator, engages in a philosophical dialogue with Irene, debating the nature of truth and superstition. This discussion delves into the horrific folklore surrounding zombies, evoking intrigue as Saladin asserts that the belief in their existence is deeply rooted within cultural narratives across the globe. The narrative smoothly transitions from philosophical musings to the hard-hitting realities of modern life when Mr. Warner, president of Acme Airlines, approaches Saladin about a series of mysterious airplane crashes linked to a powerful magician named Dr. Ehrlich. A sense of urgency punctuates the investigation, elevating the stakes as Saladin uncovers a complex web of black magic and manipulation opposing him.Tension escalates as the clock ticks down on the fate of the airplanes and their passengers, where Saladin learns that one of the doomed aircraft is being piloted by a zombie under the control of Alec, Ehrlich's henchman. A clever use of dialogue highlights the banter between Saladin and Alec, showcasing their longstanding rivalry. This rivalry weaves together elements of classic storytelling, wherein two formidable foes prepare for a conflict steeped in both intrigue and dark magic.Saladin's ingenuity is on display as he devises a plan to thwart Alec and rescue the airplane from certain disaster. The episode deftly shifts between Saladin's ingenious tactics and Alec's sinister machinations, keeping listeners teetering on the edge of their seats. Through a clever radio communication, Saladin attempts to communicate with the pilot of the compromised plane, further complicating the narrative with the stakes skyrocketing amidst tense exchanges. The climax showcases a sophisticated battle of wits between Saladin and Alec, highlighting the power of words and their influence over the 'living dead.' The audience witnesses how Saladin leverages the hitherto unseen power of salt, a crucial element in the lore of zombies. The creative storytelling culminates in a dramatic twist when the audience learns that the aircraft, though embroiled in chaos, is saved just in time as Saladin's true understanding of magic outmaneuvers Alec's deterministic grip on his zombie pilot. As the narrative comes to a close, the fate of both the airplane and the malevolent magician are intertwined, bringing resolution to the story while leaving a haunting impression. The clever framing of the episode, which blends magic as both metaphor and literal force, emphasizes the magic present in relationships and human experiences, providing a profound takeaway for the audience. The show's final reflections remind listeners of the omnipresent nature of magic not just in the story but also in real life, encouraging a sense of gratitude and recognition for the connections we forge. In summary, "The Battle of the Magicians" offers a masterful blend of supernatural folklore, philosophical dialogue, and a gripping tale of rivalry, all delivered through scintillating performances that breathe life into the narrative. The interplay of skepticism and belief serves as a central theme, reminding audiences of the power of perception as they navigate the landscape of magic, both in the story and their everyday lives.

Giorgio reflects on a powerful quote from Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor. Frankl's quote emphasises the importance of inner freedom and choosing one's attitude despite challenging external circumstances
This is a chapter about the energy of MOVING MOUNTAINS.And it's summed up like this: “Love moves mountains.”Here we're going to explore how our perception of mountains — the things in our lives that feel like challenges or issues, both internally and externally — either keeps us stuck or allows us to move forward.Depending on who is looking at them, mountains could be related to health, finances, relationships, work, and other things that feel like a big figurative mountain to climb. The question is never about the mountain itself, but it's about the way we see it, the way we engage with it, and whether we are willing to align with the divine, who moves all things through love.We are being asked to bring our awareness to this since it affects us all—individually and collectively, both spiritually and physically. We're going to discuss three core themes: the power of perception in shaping our reality, the role of burdens and attachments in creating unnecessary mountains, and how divine love—not force or control—is the key to moving what seems immovable. We'll also talk about faith and how true transformation occurs when we stop resisting what is and start seeing through the eyes of love. This is the Power of Perception.___________________________SUBSCRIBE ➡️ Join me on Substack at Hold the Light with Laurie Gunning GrossmanOTHER EPISODES IN THIS SERIES

In this episode, we're diving deep into the concept of perception and how it shapes our experience of life. If you're aiming for something different in life—whether it's a new situation, goal, or experience—you might wonder how to get there. The key lies in how you perceive the world. Imagine you're new to a business, while someone else with 20 years of experience sees endless opportunities where you might see obstacles. Their perception, shaped by years of experience, allows them to see growth opportunities that you might miss. Your mind is like a lens through which you view the world, and by adjusting this lens, you can change your perception and, ultimately, what you receive in life. Patterns influence this lens—whether they are thoughts, beliefs, or actions. By consciously choosing new patterns, you can start to see the world differently. For example, if you want to improve your health, you can use a simple “I am” statement like, “I am healthy and I make healthy decisions.” By repeatedly choosing healthy options, you begin to lock this new perception into place, transforming your thoughts and actions into habits. Discipline plays a crucial role in this transformation. Once you establish discipline in one area of your life, it becomes easier to apply it to others—be it health, finances, relationships, or anything else. Think about how your world would change if you consistently made decisions aligned with being healthy. Over time, your physical body, and even your external circumstances, would start to reflect this new lens. This principle can be applied to any area of your life, allowing you to shape your reality by changing your perception. It's important to remember that everyone experiences life differently based on their own lenses. What may seem like a challenge to you might be perceived as an opportunity by someone else. This freedom to shape our experience is a testament to the love and connection we have with the universe. We are not passive participants but active creators in our own lives. By consciously choosing how we perceive and interact with the world, we can align ourselves with the life we truly want. It's not about being right or wrong; it's about choosing the experience you want. And this choice is deeply personal—it's about focusing on what you want for yourself, not comparing your journey with others. Embracing this responsibility might mean that your path diverges from those around you, but finding your higher self is always worth it. By focusing inward and cultivating love and peace within, you become a rising tide that lifts all ships. - Henry ---- Social Media Say hi on TikTok Say Hi on Instagram ---- Email Me henry@vibeabundant.com ---- Email List --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/positive-mindset-podcast/support

What is gaslighting? When someone denies you the right to your own perception. Telling you that your perception is wrong. Working to convince you that their perception is hard fact. Ultimately causing you to doubt your own sense of reality and sense of self. The perfect victim of gaslighting is someone who doubts themselves. The smallest glimpse of doubt in you leaves you vulnerable. If you even hold a small piece of fear that what they are saying might be right, then you are hooked by their gaslighting.
