It's been said that the only constant is change. As we transition from summer into fall, go back to school, adjust our work schedules, begin new ones-- or deal with times of unemployment (retirement? Is that even possible?) we often face new and unexpected challenges. Technically, anytime we make decisions, we have to deal with and resolve conflict. Which way to go? Should I pick door #1 or that big box? Do I love them? Do they love me? While meaningful, these times can also be lonely. Managing strength and independence vs vulnerability and belonging. Someone else also said that no person is an island. Okay, sure, but where were they at high tide? While we may feel alone, especially when we experience times of transition, conflict, and change, spiritually we never are. Our guides are always there supporting us.
