If you believe in spirit guides, are curious about spirit guides, or even wonder what it's like to connect with loved ones who have crossed over, this episode is for you.I'm in a community of women where every week we talk about things that are somehow related to the spiritual or personal growth space. No topic or idea is off limits or judged, from energy healers to forensic mediums to equine therapists, we love sharing information about what we've discovered, tried, or have heard about. When one friend mentioned that they had a reading with a psychic medium that blew her mind, of course we all wanted details. This psychic medium is my guest today, Kathy Taylor. Kathy is a fourth-generation medium and has trained under Psychic Medium Lisa Williams with her International School of Spiritual Development and is certified as a Psychic Medium. To date, Kathy has done approximately 4,000 private readings, working with clients internationally. At the top of this year when we heard that she was reading for a live audience, I flew to New Jersey to see Kathy in person with my dear soul sister Jenn. We were both blown away by what we had witnessed. After the event was over, I knew that I wanted to talk with Kathy here on Hold the Light. As you'll hear, this is where we start the conversation. We also talk about how she connects with people and spirit guides on the other side; she share one of the first lessons she learned about being a psychic medium; and she talks about our teams of Spirit guides – what and who they are made up of, and how we can each discover the main players on our personal teams.LEARN MORE ABOUT KATHY TAYLOR* Website: Hellofromabove.com* Instagram: @mediumkaytay* Spiritual Academy: Join HereHold the Light with Laurie Gunning Grossman is a reader-supported publication. Tulsa voters this week effectively locked Republicans out of the city's mayoral election in November. Two Democrats - state representative Monroe Nichols and Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith - advanced to the runoff on Nov. 5 by narrowly defeating Republican Brent Van Norman by the slimmest of margins. The result guarantees Tulsa will have a Democrat mayor for the first time since Kathy Taylor left office in 2009.On this episode of Listen Frontier, we talk with Nichols and Keith about the result, what it means for Tulsa, and how the race changes now that it's transitioned to a head-to-head battle.

Kathy Taylor is a fourth-generation medium who has been trained and certified under Psychic Medium and Spiritual Teacher, Lisa Williams, through her International School of Spiritual Development (LWISSD). Kathy has worked with clients internationally and is also trained as a Forensics Medium, working on unsolved cases mainly involving murders and missing persons. Kathy has experience with remote viewing as well as Akashic Records readings, AKA past life readings. She has been reading people professionally for over 9 years and has done approximately 3,400 readings, while continuing to develop and add courses to her own mentorship programs, workshops, and classes. She enjoys identifying those who are intuitive and have "the gift," and then providing a safe, soul-cluster space in which they can learn, grow, and develop their metaphysical abilities. I first met Kathy at a pivotal point in my own journey when she immediately called forth a dear friend who had passed and provided invaluable guidance about my upcoming move across the country. I have seen first-hand Kathy's astounding gifts, which flow through her with great ease and humility. I am so excited to have Kathy back on the podcast today to discuss all things related to the Soul's Journey. In this episode, we go deep into the Spirit realm to discuss what souls are really up to between lives and what the process of soul ascension and mastery may really be about. This was an incredibly fun and special episode to record as we got into some of my own personal Pleiadian mission and the interplanetary lens through which I see things. I am also sharing the video of this episode for the first time, which is available on my YouTube channel. And if you would like to revisit Kathy's first time on the podcast last year, feel free to listen to Episode 20. Please enjoy this episode with the gifted Kathy Taylor, and may it be an invitation, a gift, and a medicine for you to discover and align with your own soul's journey through this life and beyond. My guest for this episode of the Creative Spirits Unleashed Podcast is Kathy Taylor of HerdWise Leadership Coaching. We started this conversation with a quote, which launched a very interesting conversation about what it means to be true to ourselves. The quote was behind her and it said “Be full of yourself.” I was pretty sure there was a double meaning, so we started our conversation there. We came around to an interesting question. Kathy said, "What does it mean to be a safe person to ourselves?" Now, if that's intriguing for you, it got even more interesting because she likened what we were talking about to filling a little honey bear jar with all kinds of nooks and crannies. What she does is help people find all the nooks and crannies inside their bodies and their mindsets that keep them from being who they were born to be. We're talking about balancing acts, we're talking about how we can be more true to ourselves, and we're talking about the steps it takes to get there. I will never see a honey bear jar the same way again! She gave us some of those steps in this conversation along with lots of ideas on how we can learn and grow. Here's a little bit more about Kathy.Kathy Taylor is an Embodiment & Nervous System coach who also incorporates horses and nature in her practice. She works with highly successful women who don't want to believe "this is all there is," but just can't quite seem to get where they want to go and are exhausted from trying.Kathy was aware her people-pleasing, perfectionism, and proving were holding her back, but she didn't know what else to do. The latest self-help book, new strategies and "trying really hard" had gotten her only so far. She put a lot of pressure on herself to succeed like everyone else had and nearly gave up. When she discovered it was her own well practiced stress and trauma responses getting in the way, she knew that more head knowledge couldn't take her where she wanted to go. By learning how to work with her own body and nervous system she was finally able to acknowledge her needs, show up as her *real* self and take meaningful action. With her intellect and intuition working together at last, Kathy shares with others how to access the wisdom of the body.Topics: What does it mean to be true to ourselves? (0:02)Be full of yourself and take up space. (2:49)Taking responsibility for your life. (8:32)The importance of coming back to center of safety. (13:47)Cold baths and ice baths. What is Christian Rock? Where did it come from? Was it always so worship-y? Today on a very special episode of The Album Concept Hour, we're going to be answering all of those questions for you. Brad has teased his background in the Christian music industry before and with the help of his close friend and 2nd/3rd mother, Kathy Taylor from the Give Me 1 Reason podcast, they are going to compare notes on their experiences with the Christian music industry they each grew up with... And to get into that properly, we need to start at the beginning... The first Christian Rock band to stand shoulder to shoulder with other Classic Rock artists of the time... Rez Band (or Resurrection Band). With reformed hippie, Glenn Kaiser and Wendi, his wife with the outstanding voice, at the front as a Christian power couple, along with great musicians backing them in Stu Heiss, Roy Montroy, and John Herrin, they completely changed how Christians looked at music moving forward. They represented a shifting tide in American Christianity and were part of a new wave of hippie/Christian hybrids. Coming from the world of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, Glenn Kaiser was able to capture the spirit of rock, while infusing it with his newly found spiritual beliefs and turn it into great Rock along the way. Member SIPC and FINRA. Now our feature story... Last Friday, construction workers unearthed human remains believed to be at least a few hundred years old. The crew was working at a rental property in Chelan when the operator of an excavator noticed a human skull in the ground. At that point work was stopped and the authorities were called. The Chelan County Coroner's office said he found an upper arm bone, shin bone, lower jaw bone, and some small rib fragments as well. Officials consulted with the state forensic anthropologist, Dr. Kathy Taylor, who said that the remains were likely Native American. Dr. Guy Tasa, the state physical anthropologist with the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, surveyed the site Monday. He was with a representative of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Together, they found even more bones. The age of the bones is still unclear. They could be anywhere from a few hundred years old, to a few thousand years old. For now, the skeletal remains will be placed in a cedar box after the investigation is complete. The public is urged to stay out of the area, and in the event that any remains or artifacts are found, they should be turned over to local law enforcement. Have you ever suffered from Imposter Syndrome? If so, our guest today can help you tackle those feelings and move to a place of gratitude. Kathy Taylor, of Herdwise Coaching, is an executive coach for women who struggle with imposter syndrome, overwhelm, or playing small. She finds perfectionism, people pleasing and proving hold them back from making a difference in the world. In today's episode we talk about how reconnecting with our body will allow us better control over our mindsets, and she reminds us that our bodies have a good memory that we should be listening to, especially in times of strife. By practicing new techniques such as gratitude and stepping out of our comfort zone in little steps at a time, we can expand our windows of tolerance. Through virtual coaching or Personal Intensive Retreats Kathy's clients get to play with horses (if they like) and learn to reconnect their body and mind so that thinking, doing and feeling are balanced and integrated. When it comes to fundraising, Venture Capitalist tend to get most of the attention, but in reality, most first time checks for startups actually come from angel investors, not VCs. Angel investors are basically wealthy people who like to invest in early stage startups - in other words, they are people that can financially afford to lose their investment, without impacting their lifestyle. Most angel investors were once founders. They sold their company and now have capital to invest in other companies. Those often turn out to be great investors because they get it, they’ve been in the ring. Kathy Taylor is one of those angel investors. After earning her bachelors and juris doctorate Kathy began her career as an attorney. She then became Vice President and General Counsel of Thrifty Car Rental and later bought National Car Rental from General Motors using her family’s savings. Kathy eventually sold the company with her husband and started the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation - a philanthropic foundation focused on supporting local entrepreneurs. Kathy is also known for her public service, serving as Mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma and later as State Secretary of Commerce, Tourism, and Workforce. Given her own experience in business, politics and government, Kahty is unapologetic about investing in and advocating for women through her personal and philanthropic investments. Join us as we learn more about her story and investment philosophy.
Ryan Price is the son of our beloved Kathy Taylor. He's an atheist, but dropped by my studio in Beverly Hills to tell me why Humanists should be Pro Life.
Of all the Sex in the Pews uploaded so far, Episode #11 may make the most effective and profound case heretofore against Christianity. Glenn speaks about how so much of life is about control, why this is true, how certain personality types are drawn to professions which lend themselves to controlling others, and which spiritual perspective releases humans to their birthright of freedom. Special guest Kathy Taylor, the founder of the Red Door Bar Church in Wisconsin, (which gained national attention with her “Come As You Are” approach), tells how she gained her own freedom after a childhood of almost daily molestation, the bondage of religion and how she responded to an affair. Kathy also describes why she had a “rapture list”. Owen talks about the origins and “founder” of the “Pray Away the Gay” movement. If you have been abused by religion, know a gay person being pressured to “change” or know someone who has been burned by religion in any way, this is a must listen and share. Subscribe, rate and review!!
Kathy returns to talk about the feedback she's received from Christians after being on the show the first time, and dives into new territory with David on what it means to be Humanist. Comedian KT Tatara joins in on the discussion with Michael Cain, and news for the 4th Listener. And then: Is censorship a conservative principle? Iraqi born atheist Faisal Saeed Al Mutar and comedian Ian Harris, debate the meanings of Conservative, Left, Liberal, and Right, all from a secular perspective.

Lady Cassaundra Webb I was born in a little town called Nacogdoches, TX on November 25, 1968 (actually the oldest town in Texas and the home of the Stephen F. Austin State University). I am a mother of five children, grandmother of two precious little girls; and have been married for 21 years to one man Elder Jack Webb. I was raised in the community of Pine Flat, Texas and my church home was Pine Flat C.M.E. While a member, I served as the Sunday School Teacher, member of the choir, and also taught Mission class. I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in July of 1993 at Wood's Memorial COGIC under the pastor, Supt. Chester Robinson. One Sunday night, after service I randomly walked up to Supt. Robinson and he spoke these words to me, “You look like you ought to be saved”. Those words anchored themselves deep in my spirit. I used what he said to make up my mind that I needed JESUS. During a revival on a Wednesday night, the Lord did a new thing in and for me. I had been AT church all my life, but now I've been in church the actual “Body of Christ”) for over 20 years. During the years following my Spiritual Birth, I have served as a youth choir director, Sunshine and Purity Band leader, Y.P.W.W. teacher, and whatever I have found for my hands to do. I come from a long line of gospel music singers, musicians, and preachers (Moore, Tolbert, Henderson, Horn, and Hart Families). There is someone in my family that can sing, play instrument, or something. Gospel music was and is my outlet in life! If I could just get a musical praise out, everything would be alright. Some of my favorite artist were and are Shirley Caesar, Dottie People, Beverly Crawford, Vicki Winans, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Twinkie Clark-Terrell, Carolyn Traylor, Kathy Taylor, Rev. Timothy Wright, Rev. James Cleveland, Rev. James Moore, and so many more.
