This episode is all about LURVEEEE. Love is a big topic. This is a solo episode on all things love. I thought it best and most authentic if I speak from the heart rather than research the hell out of it. There is lots of opinions, controversial pain points and misconceptions when it comes to the topic of love and I did not want to get all up in the nitty and gritty of it, so instead this podcsat for you if you want a raw and honest perspective on love. I cover what is love, how it links to attachment, self-worth and mental health. I reason with you about vulnerability, risk and pain that can show up along with the idea of fantasy vs intuition to start to break down how this complex feeling and sensation can play a role in our relationships and in our lives. I end on a curious note on the concept of saying I love you and I bring it home to come back to self and the realms of self-love. Find out more about this episode here. This episode is all about the power of self-knowledge. In early feb I ran a live free masterclass and wanted to record it and provide it to all, so I thought why not make it a podcast episode? Self-knowledge is the first pillar of 8 that makes up regaining self-worth and reconnecting to your true authentic self. This pillar works as the landing pad of who you are, where you are at and what are you doing with all that. The purpose of self-knowing is to gain authentic information about what you possess within yourself. The objectives are designed to confirm, expand and further what you already possess that makes up you and your reality. What we will cover: The comfort zone and protection bubble of not seeking further self-knowledge. The power of knowing you. Understanding you right now. What is serving you vs not serving you? This episode is about Cow Therapy. Lawrence Fox is the founder of Cow Cuddling Co an animal rescue farm that involves meeting, sitting with, cuddling, and scratching hand-raised cows on a farm. The slower heart rate and warm body temperature of the cows induces a slowing of our own heart rate, as well as the release of Oxytocin, our social bonding hormone. Cow Cuddling Co is also a social enterprise that employs people living with mental illness and intellectual disabilities as well as donating a portion of the profits to a local Cancer Wellness Centre – COUCH. This episode is all about trauma. What does it all mean? Does your trauma mean more than my trauma? Did I have the best childhood? The ins and outs of how it all plays out now? It is probably important to mention that this topic is bigger than prince and to cover it in a short space of time would be merely impossible. Be that as it may, in this episode I endeavour to share my perspective of trauma and the not so merry go round it can feel like at times in our life or as the experience occurred. Reason with me to explore that trauma has played a role in each one of our lives whether it be big or small, covert or overt, we have all had less than nurturing experiences or have an old core belief that has shown up over time that shapes the way we see the world for protection or for triumph.
