    EP 34 Deep Intimacy with your own life though acceptance.

    In this Episode of Life As An Observer I explore what it means to be in full acceptance of your thoughts, Sensations in the body, and acceptance of things that don't feel good.  We look into what is preventing a personal intimacy with self.  We will navigate ways we can move to acceptance though pausing, breathing, focusing on the sensations, exploring vulnerability, gracefully observing suffering and accepting it as part of journey.  By accepting ourselves for who we are, we acknowledge all our experiences, and begin to love ourselves opening and wholly.  We can then begin to heal and move into a greater sense of inner peace.     In this podcast I speak with my friend Veronika Rose about our shared experiences at our last retreat that we hosted together in Florida, USA.  We dive into the topics of setting intentional spaces, daily rituals and ceremonies that assist healing those affected with PTSD.  We discuss how these techniques help heal trauma in military veterans, and how psychedelic plant medicines in ceremony can help vet create a new narrative.   Want to discuss what you are passionate about on Life As An Observer?  Send me a message on my Instagram page to discuss (ryanbeanyoga).   Veronkia Rose: Veronika Rose is a visionary artist and Marine Corps Veteran from Orlando, Fl.  She deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi freedom as a public affairs and broadcast/print combat journalist with the First Marine Division in Kuwait and Iraq. Upon returning home to the States she was diagnosed with PTSD and thus began her path of self-discovery and deep healing. She began seeking alternative therapies to what the Veteran Administration Hospital provided. Soon after discharge in 2005, she began painting as an active meditation, therapy and spiritual practice.  A former nurse, Veronika became the healing arts director with the non-profit, "Heroes of Freedom," from 2013-16. H.O.F. was a monthly program at the Orlando Veterans Hospital, offering alternative therapeutic classes for veterans with PTSD including; painting, poetry, qigong, and yoga. Meanwhile, she also began a plant medicine path leading her to became a moon dancer, and Chanupa carrier.  In 2016, She met and studied painting with world-famous visionary painters Alex and Allyson Grey. In 2018 at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art, she studied classical oil techniques and figure painting with Oleg Korolov and studied acrylics with Autumn Skye Morrison. She's also a scenic painter and has painted for both Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando Fl. and painted murals during Art Basel Miami. Veronika now travels around the world as a freelance artist teaching classes, painting murals, holding art ceremonies, and organizing retreats for veterans, artists and women.     EP 28: Make Friends with Change

    Make friends with change.  In the dance of Lila we are confronted with the idea that we need to perfect our physical existence and yet work on another landscape of our conscious and our connection to the nonphysical divine.    Thich Naht Hahn tells us that "“Thanks to impermanence, everything is possible.”  And yet many of use are attached to our physical existence which is also impermanent, Thus causing suffering within us.     In todays episode I explore a 4 step strategy to help learn from your failures.  These 4 steps can be applied to anything that you are finding a struggle with in finding success.  Making more abundance, finding love, building your business, starting a new business, moving, get published, or creating a new offering or product to the world can all apply these steps to find success.  Failure is where we learn about ourselves and ways that don't work. Failure is where we become wise and gain more experience and understand the gaps in our skills.     In this podcast I discuss the how the keys to the universe lay in the magnificence of the numbers 3, 6, and 9.  Nikola Tesla was obsessed with these numbers.  He went as far as walking around a building 3 times before entering.   Tesla knew that there was something special in their meaning and connection to us and our relationship to the universe.  I discuss some very interesting ways to look at the Vortex Math by Tesla, and how they mathematical coincidences we see in time and dates may be more than by chance.   But instead they may be a way to deliberately create your future life.     In this Mindful Monday Moment we explore healing after the breakup.  I took me many failed relationships to finally learn how to heal from the last one.  In my relationship journey I was constantly trying to replace the last one rather than move forward, let go of the last one, set boundaries for what I will tolerate in the next, and finally learn how to set a clear definition of my values.  In doing these three tips that I describe in this podcast we develop a sense of wholeness, and move away from the idea that we are lost or unloved, or unworthy of love.   Three Steps to healing after the breakup.  1.  Don't use the break up as your lost sense of purpose.  You are not broken, you FEEL broken hearted.  You are not sadness, you FEEL sad. 2. Embrace confidence building activities and the company of others and social situations that are good vibrational energy to heal and grow, not a space to self loathe. 3.
