Hello, gorgeous women! In today's episode, I share a powerful voice note from the Thrive Club Private group chat. Over five days, I shared 8 to 15-minute voice notes about how women can restructure and deepen their relationship with God to truly thrive. This isn't about religion; it's about living a life led by faith, especially for ambitious and driven women. I discuss the importance of partnering with God, the scripture supporting a life of abundance over survival, and the balance of masculine and feminine energies. If this resonates with you, join us in the Thrive Club for the full series. I'm excited to share my journey and hear your thoughts. Enjoy today's voice note and remember, God wants you to thrive.

I dive deep into a theory I've developed about millennial women, especially moms, and our ingrained need to hustle and be constantly productive. This relentless pursuit of productivity often leads to burnout, overwhelm, and numerous health issues. I discuss how motherhood triggers a shift to feminine energy, which can cause internal conflict for high-achieving moms. Through personal anecdotes and insights, I guide you on how to rewire your mindset, connect with your inherent worth, and embrace a more relaxed, fulfilling approach to life. You'll learn the importance of acknowledging your worth outside of your achievements, reconnecting with your core identity, and building a trusting relationship with God. This transformation allows you to live with ease, surrender control, and truly value yourself just as you are. We also tackle misconceptions about responsibility, especially for women, emphasizing that real liberation and freedom are achieved through ownership and accountability. This episode is about transforming your mindset, reassessing your approach to responsibility, and ultimately stepping into a life of sovereignty and partnership with God.

She emphasizes the importance of understanding guilt as a signal for introspection rather than a burden to carry. Natasha discusses the interplay between guilt, shame, and societal expectations, advocating for curiosity and clarity in motherhood. She also addresses the martyr complex prevalent among mothers and encourages listeners to redefine their narratives around guilt and self-care. Mom guilt stems from societal expectations and personal beliefs. The word 'should' often indicates shame and guilt. Guilt can be a signal for introspection and clarity. Curiosity is more effective than guilt for personal growth. Multitasking can lead to feelings of guilt and exhaustion. The martyr complex is a common issue in motherhood. Understanding your priorities can reduce feelings of guilt. Guilt is not a productive emotion for change. Reframing tasks as 'get to' instead of 'should' can shift perspective. Are they REALLY a narcissist or are they simply emotionally immature?! Sometimes it can be really hard to differentiate from both and see which one is which. it's so easy to label someone wrongfully and have it be "done"... "they are a narcissist and thats it" False. Knowing these difference and being an adult child of emotionally immature parents, I have found great relief in knowing that I wasn't dealing with narcissism and was in fact in relationship with people who were emotionally immature... which incudes myself. Today we discuss: What is a narcissist? What is an emotionally immature adult? The biggest differences between a narcissist and someone who is emotionally immature? Nervous system capacity Brain development Secure attachment Why is there so many emotionally immature adults?? [00:01:56] The idea of narcissism. [00:05:07] Understanding people's emotional intelligence. [00:08:51] Direct support for mental health. [00:13:11] Level of grandiosity in narcissism [00:17:02] Narcissists and envy [00:21:05] Choosing the path of least resistance - is it emotional immaturity? [00:25:26] Self-doubt and self-centeredness. [00:29:14] Lack of empathy and congruence. [00:33:08] The difference between emotionally immature adults & narcissist [00:36:21] Coping mechanisms and personality traits. [00:40:26] Secure attachment in relationships. [00:44:49] How to regulate yourself. [00:48:47] Resetting your dopamine. 00:02:19 - "And I think it's very important that we have a conversation of what it actually means to be a narcissist versus someone who's just emotionally immature and what that can look like." 00:05:56 - "these people, no matter what they are, they didn't just end up like this, right?" 00:06:32 - "In order to step into this next version of ourselves and the next generation, we have to do better." 00:11:36 - "I'm never stuck. You're never stuck. We have choices. We have opportunities. We have things that we can change. And it's just a matter of taking responsibility and doing something different and finding the right information that supports us and committing into doing the hard thing and showing up differently." 00:15:06 - "their identity and their way of being seen by the world is literally upheld by the power and your ability to control the people around them." 00:15:32 - "In those moments of those really intense power dynamics, they get a high and they get that confirmation that they are, in fact, that person that is better than them, that is better than everybody else." 00:20:13 - "So these people actually have very low capacity to be with commitments and responsibility because they assume of how much stress is going to involve." 00:22:11 - "But at the same time, you know, if you're constantly choosing the path of least resistance, are you really growing?" 00:25:26 - "So they have this fundamental doubt about their core worth as a human being." 00:29:32 - "Do you really have empathy for this person?" 00:32:26 - "Biggest difference with NARCs is that NARCs don't have empathy at all." 00:32:55 - "Narcs do not." 00:36:57 - "But it doesn't mean you are a people-pleaser." 00:39:21 - "But now we're seeing more than ever, that's actually not the way to do it because I have no ability as a baby to regulate myself at all." 00:44:13 - "Like this is the courageous thing to do." 00:45:20 - "Welcome home. Welcome to who you actually are, where you don't have crazy thoughts, and you're not super fucking defensive all the time, and you can enjoy life, and you are able to be extroverted or introverted or whatever story you have." 00:47:43 - "Humans are complex and yet very simple."
