Do you show up like you have everything put together, but you secretly feel anxious, are hard on yourself, and feel stressed out on the inside? You may be living with high-functioning anxiety!   Nadia is a licensed therapist and has been helping women who live with high-functioning anxiety for over a decade. Having gone through some traumas herself and experienced anxiety and depression in the past, she has also chosen to incorporate some holistic methods into the traditional clinical approach of dealing with anxiety. Working with women who struggle day to day with their anxiety has shown Nadia a deeper understanding that this is not just about ticking off a list of symptoms or looking at the official diagnosis. It's also nervous system regulation and learning how to be an ambitious woman who *also* has love, compassion, and gentleness for herself.  High-functioning anxiety is also often rooted in deeper subconscious issues like a lack of self-worth. That's why Nadia advocates for holistic mental and emotional wellness so that women can continue to thrive while also taking the time to care for their overall well-being. Tune in to this episode to find out more about what high-functioning anxiety looks like, how to deal with it, and how to calm down - even if you're a highly ambitious woman. "Self-awareness is not just a tip. It's also a practice that we have to do consistently because we're always changing. Our lives are always changing. It's a journey.”  - Nadia Fiorita   In this episode, Nadia and Sloane talk about: What high functioning anxiety means and what it looks like When it's time to start seeking professional help The value of looking at someone as a human being instead of just looking at a diagnosis The difference between coaching and therapy How therapy could help in getting clarity on different aspects of life, even without being diagnosed with a condition The importance of self-awareness in reaching your goals How to deal with overthinking The impact that self-worth has in learning how to trust oneself and knowing yourself fully The pros and cons of being ambitious and how to balance it all out The role that nutrition has in mental wellness Tips for regulating the nervous system …and more!   Resources Mentioned:  Grab your Food Freedom Journal here   Connect with Nadia Florita: Instagram Website   Connect with Sloane Elizabeth: Website Instagram TikTok Free QUIZ: What's holding you back from releasing the (emotional & mental) weight? Last year, around this time, when things in Canada started to re-open, I found myself looking around at what other people were wearing, and felt like a FISH out of water. It turns out somewhere in the last few years, we've gone from bikini bottoms to thong bottoms. And no-one sent me the memo. Sometimes it feels like there's a secret club that knows the trends, and I clearly am not on the email list. Staying up to date on fashion feels like a second job, and it's hard to know how and where to stay up-to-date on trends and we wind up feeling lost.  Fashion and style also can be seen as superficial, as something that's optional, or “froo-froo” and not taken seriously. That's why I'm so excited to be joined today by Tamara Mainardi, a Style Curator, which if you're out of the loop like me, means a Personal Stylist to talk about the DEEPER meaning of fashion, style and how we can feel confident in our clothes and take it to the rest of our lives including our goals. Why does this matter?  Because you've got ONE life my friend, and whether you decide to go full thong on the beach, or not, I want YOU to feel confident, have FUN, feel GREAT in your body, and be ready to play with how you present yourself with the world. Get ready to feel excited about dressing yourself, expressing yourself, and feel inspired and ready to have FUN with style. Episode Shownotes: www.lisamichaud.com/podcast/86

Welcome back to the Shamelessly Ambitious Podcast! The last time I recorded a personal-update podcast was when we had lived in Costa Rica for just one week. Well, now we have officially been here for over a month and I can honestly say that Costa Rica has changed our lives (for the better). It has changed our life, how we experience life, how we experience one another…it has literally changed everything, including what our future gets to look like.    Costa Rica to me is the definition of doing it differently. And it has been a full embodiment of all the things that I have preached, taught, and fully felt in my soul – which is that you don't have to do things like everybody else in order to have the success that you deeply desire.    Thanks for listening. Thanks for being here.     TOPICS DISCUSSED   Why Costa Rica has been the embodiment of doing things differently for me Our dream of living abroad and why we didn't do it sooner What I realized about motherhood since we arrived in Costa Rica My life-long search for a home and what that looks like for me now Our exciting plans for the next few months The two things I want you to take away from this episode An invitation to come and join me in Italy CONNECT WITH ASH   Instagram: @ashmcdonald Website: ashmcdonaldmentoring.com   THE ACCELERATORS   If you're liking what you're hearing, you'll LOVE my Accelerators. There's a lot of pressure on women in the workplace.    We're asked to be confident but not aggressive. To be authoritative but not bossy. To speak our mind and also be polite.    It's exhausting.   That's why we invited Tracy Tutor to The BossBabe Podcast to share her take on balancing masculine and feminine energy at work. She's sharing how she shows up strong in a male-dominated industry and is unpacking what unapologetic ambition looks like to her.    Plus, she's sharing a peek behind the scenes into what filming Million Dollar Listing is really like.    It's an incredible interview, and we can't wait to share this with you.   Links: The episode with Dr. Casey Means: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-bossbabe-podcast/id1453389736?i=1000517277453 Back door access to Levels: https://www.levelshealth.com/NATALIE   Follow:  BossBabe: @bossbabe.inc Natalie: @iamnatalie Danielle: @daniellecanty

Ambitious and determined women often get sucked into diet culture's messaging of “just persevere,” “just keep going” and do so until hitting the point of (sometimes extreme) exhaustion. This does more harm to our health than good. In the episode I discuss: ✨ Differences between the intuitive eating and weight loss paradigms ✨ How messages of perseverance keep us disembodied and detached from our bodies and how this affects our health. ✨ Why quitting diet culture might be the first step to rediscovering lasting health And more. How can you be an ambitious woman and committed mother?   #Takeaways The importance of solidarity when you are a mum and ambitious woman Times are changing - you can still be professional and have the kids around Finding like minded groups and keep networking Asking for help is a strength    Today’s episode welcomes an awesome woman who I am also super grateful to be able to call a great friend.  Claire Harrison is a successful multi-site leisure owner with over 20 years senior and board level experience. Claire currently owns and operates one of London’s leading swim schools offering private lessons in some of London’s most exclusive areas and has just secured a six-figure investment to open a “game changing’ family lifestyle, sports and leisure club in London. One of 7 clubs in the planning over the next 5 years. Claire has held advisory roles for public and private swimming lesson services, council best practice provision and school sports partnerships and she regularly writes articles for industry, trade and public press. But as Claire always says, her most important, challenging and rewarding job is being Mum to Sam (7) and Eva (4). And this is what we are chatting about today - being an ambitious woman and being a mum.  It is not an easy ride with lots of ups and downs which I am sure many of you can relate to - listen in to hear Claire share some of her own experiences and how this has resulted in this game changing club that at its heart really knows what parents and families need to make the most out of work and play. ** This episode was recorded before we knew the extent to which the Covid19 pandemic would have on all industries including construction.  The first Club will be opening its door in early 2021 with lots of exciting pre launch events happening at the end of this year.  You can get all the latest info using the sign up link below and go follow them on social media at Get Set Go. ** “As a parent you are constantly guilty - am I missing out, am I giving them enough attention and there’s a desire to make sure they are constantly busy and you let yourself suffer because of that" - Claire   “I get strength in the fact that my children see me working really hard and I wanted to give parents and families this opportunity to be together” - Claire   “There’s nothing more powerful than solidarity” - Gemma   “As a business owner and you’ve got a brand new baby it’s really hard” - Claire   “When you try and do things and multitask things can go wrong and spread yourself too thin and don’t think you are doing well in any area” - Gemma   “You are stronger than you think and more resilient than you think” - Claire   #Resources   “5 Steps to being more visible at work” one page guide mentioned in the episode - get yours here:   https://www.gemmastow.com/5-ways-to-be-more-visible-at-work   Get the White Paper ‘Visibility at Work: The Importance of Self Promotion for Women’s Career Progression:   https://bit.ly/WP2020podcast   Book a call with Gemma:   http://bit.ly/CallGemmaPodcast   More info about the 1-1 No More Hiding 12 month Coaching Programme:   https://bit.ly/NMH12Pod   Connect with your host Gemma Stow: Website: https://www.gemmastow.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gemmastow/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/gemmastow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iamgemmastow/   Connect with Claire and find out more about Get Set Go: Website: https://get-set-go.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/claire-harrison-a34b1224/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/getsetgolondon/

I love doing this podcast. I love educating. I LOVE SHARING my information that I know being a Myers-Briggs expert and a former psychotherapist and couple’s counselor. And one of my core values on this show is to be vulnerable with you and to share my life experiences.I don’t know who taught me this, but they call it TAO. Transparency, authenticity, and openness, which leads to today’s podcast. I am SICK as a dog. I am sick, sick, sick, sicker than I’ve been in a very long time. And. The show MUST go on.So, a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was just last week, I’m in such a fog. Anyway, I was doing all the things. We have a huge team right now. I have a lot of clients right now. We are getting ready to launch… And I told Stephanie and our new Director of Operations, Kristen, that I was not going to take my normal day off on Friday, and I was going to start working over the weekends until the launch, and I’m going to start doing Facebook Lives and all these things. And Stephanie said, “Hey girl, you might want to SLOW YOUR ROLL. Like, this is a marathon right now. This is not a sprint. You need to CONSERVE your ENERGY.” And at the time I was super healthy, completely in my Front Seat. I felt unstoppable. I felt like my normal, ambitious self.I know I’m a VERY STRONG J, and a lot of women in my life are too. J’s are doers. They are pushers. They are bossy, they’re controlling, they’re AMBITIOUS, they know what they want, and they go after it. That is when they’re in their Front Seat. P’s, on the other hand, go with the flow, don’t worry about it.I no doubt 1000% believe I got sick because I’m pushing TOO HARD. There’s too much going on. There’s a lot of pressure. There are a lot of expectations that I allow. I’m not stupid enough or naive enough to think that I am not 100% responsible for this, as are you.I’ve been SICK THREE TIMES this year, and it’s only March 10th, and it’s when I, as a J, can’t stop and rest.I’m BREAKING my Cardinal Rule. My Cardinal rule is compartmentalization and giving a hundred percent of my energy to the one thing that I’m doing. However, it becomes my fault when I’m trying to do 15 different things in a day. And it can absolutely take its toll. It can start to ruin your life.Could you give 80%? And not 110% or 125%? I think I’m that person, I just go all in so fucking hard that then there’s nothing in reserves and that’s exactly what’s happening to my body right now.I know for a fact that this is just the universe like slapping me upside the face. I didn’t listen the first two times it happened. I soldiered through and this one has TAKEN ME DOWN. And ironically, I’m still doing this. I think it’s a great life lesson. I think others can learn from it, which is one of my core values.I do this not to just pontificate and throw stuff at you, but to connect and let you know how I and many listening to this podcast right now can resonate with this.I’m MAKING A PLEDGE. The goal is 80% of the time to be hustling, to be ambitious, to be going after it, and then by choice 20% of the time resting. And I don’t think that includes Saturdays and Sundays because we’re also giving to other people. And I know for a lot of you that work nine to five, that sounds impossible. So how do you take at least a night a week or three or four days a month off for SELF-CARE? Set boundaries, and they’re non-negotiable.And so that’s the pledge says what I’m asking us to do. #jandppledge. And tag me @frontseatlife and I cannot wait to start this conversation on Instagram and start sharing how we as strong, ambitious J women are choosing to embrace some P energy, some “BEING” energy. I want to see your pledge. I want to see what you’re going to be participating in, how you can relax a little bit, and how you can implement this into your life. So, thank you for listening. As always, share this with any strong, beautiful, gorgeous, ambitious woman that you know, and LET’S START THIS PLEDGE!#jandppledgeFor more about Jessica and her upcoming events, visit https://jessicabutts.comFollow her on Instagram @frontseatlife for daily motivation.Sign up for the new Live Unapologetically waitlist: https://jessicabutts.com/LU/The FREE Front Seat Squad: https://jessicabutts.com/squad/Not sure what your Myers Briggs personality type is? And it can absolutely take its toll. It can start to ruin your life.Could you give 80%? And not 110% or 125%? And I don’t think that includes Saturdays and Sundays because we’re also giving to other people. And I know for a lot of you that work nine to five, that sounds impossible. So how do you take at least a night a week or three or four days a month off for SELF-CARE? Dina is a true light in this world! Her openness and drive are an inspiration to us all. She started Feel Good Salsa with a mission – to make this world a better place and to do good – and she’s doing just that!   Dina has such an inspirational story. She was born in Mexico, lived in the slums of Tijuana with no running water and living out of the back of her parent’s pickup truck. She and her family came to America as illegal immigrants with quit literally, nothing. She’s since become a legal citizen, worked hard to earn her Master’s Degree in Professional Development, M.P.S. and is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, B.C.B.A. After spending 20 years, and being at the top of her field, working with special needs families (both adults and children) she shifted gears and began trying to make an impact in a different way – with FEEL GOOD SALSA.   While she started cooking at age 12, she didn’t know anything about the salsa business. She’s self-taught and growing at a rapid & impressive pace! One year after starting Feel Good Salsa, she’s now opening her own shared-use kitchen. Not just any kitchen, but a kitchen that acts as an incubator with a core value set on sustainability and community.   During this episode we talk about Dina’s journey and everything from:   The true ups and downs of entrepreneurship and what it looks/feels like on a day-to-day basis. How to push through fear. How we can all change our carbon footprint by making small adjustments to make a big impact. How to force accountability on yourself. The importance of paying it forward. How to be kind to yourself.   Dina pours her heart and soul into her business, and it shows. While failure happens with every entrepreneur, quitting is not an option (and there’s a big difference between failure and quitting). We’re proud to stand alongside of this Ambitious Woman.   Fun Fact: Salsa is outpacing ketchup in the condiment market – who knew?!

This your mental Vitamin B. Each Monday I share a little motivation & insight to start the week. You’ve got a lot of people depending on you. There is big work for you to do. So here’s a maxim for you, the smart, ambitious woman, to help you SHINE. “No man who is occupied doing a very difficult thing, and doing it very well, ever loses his self-respect.”  - George Bernard Shaw Consider what you go through in a day: Taking care of others Keeping the house clean & in order Ensuring proper nutrition & exercise is taken care of for you & yours Work responsibilities Church responsibilities Volunteer & Civic duties This is the list when everything is going right. What about when it's not going right?  How do you get things in order? Lucille Ball once said, "Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world." To really love yourself, you must: Stop comparing yourself with others Start appreciating what makes you YOU. Start finding ways to be more of yourself amidst the craziness of the world.

You're a smart, ambitious woman. You know you're supposed to value yourself. You make sure that the work gets done. That everyone contributes. And that tiny details are taken care of, things are turned in on time, and you are serving others. You value the lessons learned in the work. While you teach others to learn, grow and progress. This is all so very important, but you know what else matters? Answer this honestly inside:  Do you value yourself?  This is something it seems, that every smart, ambitious woman is so busy looking out for all the things... the stuff of life, the details are taken care of and things keep moving forward. You miss the chance to look back and enjoy that moment when you had that tiny win (that was more than just a tiny win... it was setting you on a whole new path for your life.)  When you should savor it. You rush to the next thing, because it's on the list.  Yet, you haven't processed the last thing. So as you have more things going on, you can lose yourself in it. Don't devalue yourself. Stop missing the moment. Instead, be all there.  Feel how good your life is right now. I know, you're thinking, "But my house is still not as clean as I'd like... I haven't made that next promotion... I haven't lost the weight... I'm not there yet..." Of course not.  That's the future. You are here.  Right now at this moment. Answer the Emergency Text It's late at night, you are about to go to bed.  A close friend that you haven't seen in a while texts you and says, "I'm feeling low.  Remind me why I'm a good person." At that moment, you have no idea what's going on in her life.  You don't know if she just broke up with a boyfriend, or her job is a nightmare or any of that. None of the matters right now. What do you do?  Immediately, you instinctively send a text, or two, or several, reminding this friend what a wonderful person they are.  You look inside to their heart and tell them of the exact moment when she stood up and did the right thing.  The memories of the time when you both laughed yourself to tears...literal tears, comes up and you can't help but smile while you continue to text. Mostly though, you remind your friend that she is loved. Just because. And you are there for her, no matter where the world takes you. Then you wait. It takes a minute or two, but she answers you with a heart and "tears streaming down the face" emoji. She remembers that time, too. And in that tiny moment, you feel that peace. You feel love. Imagine Your Screen We've all had moments when we've felt like that.  It doesn't matter how successful you are, where you come from, how nice the car you drive is... If you don't value yourself, no one else will see you.  All of you. You know what's crazy about that? You're a smart, ambitious woman. You. Right now.  You have so much value. You are the one serving in the community.  People say to you, "Girl, how do you do it all?" People see what you are doing on the outside.  Imagine if they saw what you were doing to yourself on the inside.  If we all walked around with our own, little speech bubble/ screen sharing the thoughts and conversations we are having with ourselves, imagine what that would look like. The screen above the of exhausted-looking woman in front of you in the check out with 3 screaming kids would say, "I haven't slept in 3 days.  But I can't get sick.  How will we survive without my paycheck?  I'll just push on..."  The screen of the superwoman who bakes delicious goodies and gives them to neighbors says, "These are so ugly!  You can't do anything right.  Why don't you just quit?  This will never be a business!"  The working woman, supportive friend, that hasn't settled down woman's screen reads, "Why does it matter if I have a man or not?!?  I would love to settle down.  Quit asking about my dating life! My worth is not based on being someone's wife!" Your screen, what would it look like?  What do you say to yourself that you would never say to another person? Perhaps you need to write it down on a paper.  Just so you can see how those words aren't helping you.  In fact, they are hurting you.  These words are holding you back. So rip that paper to shreds. Destroy those useless words. Burn the paper if you need to, but don't you dare let that inner voice hold you back. Be There for Yourself We all have days when we are feeling low.  That's part of this human experience. We need you.  The full you.  The you that answers your own emergency text when you're feeling low.  The you that reminds yourself you are good.  More than good.  You are wonderful.  That you give and serve.  That you are doing so much to make our world better. And mostly, that you are loved.  Just because. You are feeling the value that you have. Bring more of that to our world.

Get out your papers and pens! This is one episode you should be taking notes!    Today's guest is the host of the Leader to Leader Podcast and he knows his stuff! Mark Slemons is a speaker, podcaster, and coach. He helps leaders leverage practices and perspectives to make their people and their organization thrive. It's challenging to lead well, especially young leaders who are just starting their journey. They don't have to do it alone though. With more than 30 years as a husband, father, leader, volunteer, and employee working for a multi-billion dollar international company, his unique perspective combined with practical and actionable tips will help individuals and organizations thrive. Whether humorous, serious, or sad, he uses the past to create a better future. Connect with Mark. Some highlights that apply right now are: Mark decided to be consistent, (publish an episode every Monday) before he started his podcast. Perfection addiction in his life: He struggles with not having something be perfect before he lets it go. Now he has arrived at the point where he says, "This is a really good effort, and I'm okay with that."  Couldn't we all use more of that in our life?   What your best is at one time is not what you do now. Amy joins Mark on his show, Episode 8. The ideas mature- just like you. Why You Must Talk About Yourself, Episode 40-41. Mark describes the feeling you get when you're on to something..."You know that if you can get ahold of this it will make a difference in your own life and hope that it can do the same for someone else." You have to talk about yourself.  That's not pride.  You can tell people about the good things in your life. We undermine and underestimate the contribution we add, even in our own home. "This notion that your great work speaks for itself while you are humble and unassuming...it's not a reality." When you don't talk about yourself enough, it comes down to a self-worth issue. Talk about yourself too much?  You're bragging. Bragging is what has happened in the past.  The difference between swagger and cockiness defined. It's ultimately about sway. Sway is your influence. There's an art to talking about yourself. It's okay to talk about yourself that gives you credit for your capabilities, talents and results. Step 1. Track your performance. Everyone has a body of work. You need to demonstrate your contribution in the larger wheel. Build the body of evidence. Use examples that show results in your space. Keep "The Glory File*," the file that keeps track of those compliments, kudos, reports of success just for you.  You can refer to them when you need to report in.  Step 2. Talk about your results. You must communicate your efforts regularly. Position yourself to show others, the business Don't be silent about your accomplishments. Arrogance and silence both don't help. Find the middle ground for you.  "If you're too modest, you're not helping yourself." If you don't say it, there's nobody else that's going to do it for you.  Step 3.  Share credit when credit needs to be shared. Thank for the credit and mention how your team will appreciate it. Mention the team amidst the effort. Name them specifically, if possible. Step 4.  Take credit for your ideas. It's up to you to get the respect & authority that you deserve. You can't allow others to take your credit and not put up resistance. Don't be childish.  Be strategic. "I'm glad you like my idea. I'd love to hear how you would add to that." Your choice of words is really important. Be willing to confront, not combat someone on the issue. "I encourage your listeners to step up.  You have the ability to lead well." Step 5. Learn how to receive a compliment.  Always say thank you. You can acknowledge mistakes, but don't mention your mistakes so they overpower the compliment given. Give yourself the space to say thank you. Step 6. Deal with criticism. There are people everywhere who speak before thinking. Words can hurt. Some of the feedback you get will be harsh.  If you are more sensitive to that, find a way to deal with those comments that work for you. Take the valuable pieces of the feedback and discard the rest. Others don't feel the pain.  Even the person who said that remark will never feel the pain of a cutting comment. You decide if that thought persists in your mind or if you get rid of it.  You have the power.  "Don't go to bed with that guy tonight. He's living in your head, rent-free, and you need to evict him..."  These are the words you need to remind yourself when you find yourself fixated on a negative, or hurtful comment. How to Quickly Get Started with Your Solid Sales Funnel This is part 1 in the series on Sales Funnels.   The old school vs. new school sales funnels.   Too many terms, not enough tactics. Attract Your Customers With a Nibble You are leading them on a journey. In a world bombarded with noise, it doesn't help to give someone the full feast of what you offer. It's appetizer education now. Give them a nibble.   Your customers are too busy with all the incoming messages, a nibble is all they need.  Think of Costco runs on Saturday afternoons.   Those sample stations are at nearly every turn. Smell good? Have a nibble. "Do you like it?  They are located right around this corner and are sale today!" It Starts When Customers Spot You. Here's How the Big Companies Do This. Companies pay millions of dollars so that you can spot them. A few examples are: Movie/ television sets are paid by companies to have their products on camera. Think of cereals, etc. Sponsorships of teams and organizations in the community. Banners out on left field, on the walls of the high school, etc. Celebrities holding a can of Pepsi. Billboards across the globe. Thank you, Coke. Times Square flashing lights. YouTube ads: before you can watch some videos you have the 5-second mandatory ad.  Streaming videos: services have mandatory commercial breaks within the shows.   You, Smart, Ambitious Woman, Are Already in Sales. And You're Good at it. We make sales too complicated. You are a salesperson, you may not have realized that. I'm on a mission to help smart, ambitious women make sales simple & a natural part of daily life. Because you are already in sales. The process of making a sale is convincing someone to act.  You do this every day when you: Remind your child to make their bed so they can get to school on time.  Get the family out the door on time so you're not late again. Help a co-worker pass that certification with study notes/ practices so she can get a raise. Give someone a reason why they should join the volunteer organization, or plan the company picnic, or do something extra so they can put it on their resume. Negotiate the purchase price of an item so you save money and they still get a commission. We'll go into the power of sales more down the road, recognize that you are an excellent salesperson already.   How to Make it Easy For Your Customers Spot You Your sales funnel is your strategy. You implement the tactics.  This is why there are so many in business who give you the strategy and sale the tactics.   So now to the tactics to start your sales funnel so your customers spot you easily. But first, know your customer.  You must know who you are looking to draw into your sales funnel.  If you're not sure about that, I've got an entire worksheet dedicated to your perfectly delighted customer in the show notes.  The secret?  Make it a part of everyday life. Use what you've got, girl.  A few ideas that come to mind are: If you are a natural encourager, encourage your customer. If you are funny, be funny in your placement. If you are out a lot, be the person with your product. You are putting your message/ product/ad out in the world. [Note: Do not do all of these at once.  Start with one and do this consistently for a month. Then look at adding another. Don't be concerned it's not enough, people will start to notice. You are laying the foundation for your powerful sales funnel here.]   Social Media Steps so Customers Spot You Consider opportunities like this for social media: Make a consistent post. At a minimum, post twice a week, you could post daily. (10 words or less is ideal for graphics.) Tell a funny story in your life. Pull that story back to your product or service. Show pictures of your life in daily use on how the product works. Ask a question.  Something that can be used a conversation starter. Share the good news! If your product, someone in your organization has an article or post, share that and explain why this is important. Send congratulations!  When someone else succeeds doing something that you are happy for or talks about your product or service, bring up in the feed.   Video posts. This will take more time and planning but should be on your radar.    Real Life Steps to Take so Customers Spot You Life doesn't happen only online. The best way to allow your customers to spot your product is when they spot you. Think of it this way: You are your product. When customers choose to buy, they choose you. They notice you when they trust you. Dress like a professional.  Smile with confidence. (You can watch Amy Cuddy's TED Talk here.) Listen. Listen 3:1 ratio. People instinctively trust the listeners. Don't push.  Say less about your product or business, a casual mention is sometimes more powerful than a full-scale business presentation at the kids' soccer game. Share a sample, if someone shows interest.  Remember this is the world of appetizer education, so give them a nibble. So, How Do You Quickly Get Started with Your Solid Sales Funnel? Take one step and start moving forward. Next time I'm going to show you how to do even more and get your customers to act. You have big work to do. I love showing you how to simplify the steps so you are working smarter instead of harder. If you have questions, are looking for even more insight, you can send me an email at: amy@thinkenriched.com.

We need perspective. We need to understand why we are fighting that internal battle of pushing to excel while allowing ourselves to be content at the moment. Consider, a Super Hero: Solves problems.  Only fixes things and moves onto the next challenge. Thinks herself invincible.  She pretends she is completely unruffled by life. Never gets down.   Always happy.  Always have a fake, toothy grin. Is a doer.  She does it all herself. She doesn't need help from anyone. Is a complete workaholic.  All she has is proving to the world she's a hero.   Now consider a Smart, Ambitious Woman. She: Asks for help.  Sometimes even just a little more than she needs.  (It's because she understands that she is giving someone opportunity to lead & serve.) Allow herself to be vulnerable.  She mentions to someone she trusts when she is struggling or feeling the fear that comes with progress. Gives herself room to feel the emotions of life.  She is real.  She allows herself to breathe and just be in the moment. Communicates.  She doesn't try to do it all herself.  She encourages and graciously accepts help from others.  That doesn't mean she's weak, she understands the value of teamwork and relationships in life. Appreciates hard work, but puts that aside to focus on other things to make her life enriched. Which would you rather be? Smart, ambitious women are so much more fun.  They're more real.
