The opening round of the 2025 WorldSBK season is in the books and Nicolo Bulega dominated the opening weekend. It was a textbook weekend for the Aruba.it Ducati rider but as Steve and Gordo explain it also meant the stories of the weekend were elsewhere. Most of the stories focused on Toprak Razgatlioglu and his BMW. On Sunday evening the reigning champion dropped a bombshell that he would consider quiting the series if changes weren't made. Was it postering? As Gordo explains the weekend wasn't quite as bad as a 20 point haul would indicate. Marc Marquez idei első nagydíjdobogóját szerezte, ahogy ő fogalmazott ez egy romantikus eredmény a Honda számára, a kérdés viszont továbbra is az, hogy ez egy romantikus búcsú, vagy egymásra találás kezdete lesz közte és a japánok közt? A KTM új alkatrésszel próbálkozott a hétvégén, ami pénteken és szombaton működött, vasárnap viszont a japán időjárás kibabrált velük. De nem csak nekik tettek keresztbe a körülmények, több versenyzőt a szabálytalan motorcseréjük miatt büntettek, Zarcót pedig szabálytalan motor tolása miatt nem engedték újrarajtolni. Ezt leszámítva viszont a versenyirányítás meglepően jó döntéseket hozott. Miguel Oliveira persze ezzel nem értett egyet, ő azért állt ki a boxba, mert nem ítélte biztonságosnak a helyzetet. Augusto Fernandez hiába lett hetedik, nagyon úgy tűnik elbukja az ülését, Di Giannantonio a Honda felé kacsingat, Quartararo pedig lehet az Aprilián köt ki.

Phil and Josh welcome Talking In Circles creator Clayton Caldwell back to the GSP to discuss all the happenings at Phoenix Raceway for NASCAR championship weekend.  The crew covers Joey Logano becoming a two-time Cup Series champ and the first multiple champion for Ford since David Pearson.  They also discuss the other four drivers racing for titles along with the shocking news of Coy Gibbs passing.  News of Jimmie Johnson returning to NASCAR as a part owner of Petty GMS along with a limited schedule along with Project 91 news is also went over.  Ty Gibbs won the XFinity title after a tumultuous week leading up to the race and having to deal with the loss of his father soon after.  JRM had three of four drivers in the final but all had issues on pit road at some point which played a part in their inability to defeat the JGR driver.  Zane Smith was similarly dominant in the Truck Series finale to give Front Row Motorsports their first championship.  The big news for that series is Kyle Busch Motorsports going to Chevy and having Chase Purdy as their full time competitor for the title along with partnering with Rev Racing to bring ARCA champion Nick Sanchez up to run for ROTY.  The GSP Roundup covers Pecco Bagnaia winning Ducati's first MotoGP title since 2007 with Casey Stoner along with the first Italian champ since his mentor Valentino Rossi in 2009.   Moto2 saw Augusto Fernandez lock up the title before moving up to MotoGP.  Super GT saw Nissan win their first title since 2015 and the Calsonic Impul team win for the first time since 1995 along with Iron Lynx being announced as the factory team for Lamborghini in the LMDh category, WRC preview for Rally Japan and WSBK in Indonesia.  Phil and Josh go over Week 9 for NFL both with their regular and fantasy teams before doing the preview and picks for the Brazilian Grand Prix before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.

But we start with paying our respect to Coy Gibbs, the executive for Joe Gibbs racing, who sadly passed away this weekend. His death was less than a day after his Son won the Xfinity Series Championship. In Formula 1, Christian Horner is in the news again, claiming that there was a leak from Red Bull to the FIA. We've had lots of PR from Formula 1 drivers out in Las Vegas for the race in Nevada next year. Elsewhere, there's a debate with Pirelli over whether tyre blankets should be continued. Pirelli have said that first laps out of the pits will be slower, but other race series don't use tyre blankets, so are they needed in Formula 1? The Moto GP riders were out in Valencia this weekend, with a win for Suzuki rider, Alex Rins, in Suzuki's last ever race in Moto GP. The Championship win went to Francesco Bagnaia, taking the title from Francesco Bagnaia. In Moto2, Spanish rider, Pedro Acosta took the win and became rookie Champion of the year, with the overall Championship going to fellow Spanish rider, Augusto Fernandez. Joey Logano was crowned this year's NASCAR Champion at Phoenix Raceway in Arizona. Next week, we have the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paolo. We have the World Rally Championship final in Japan and the WEC final in Bahrain. The penultimate round of World Superbikes is also taking place in Indonesia, and let's not forget the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey!

An earth-shattering announcement hitting MotoGP right on Austrian's GP weekend, as the series announced from out of nowhere that they'll be adding Sprint Races to EVERY MotoGP race weekend in 2023. They'll be replacing the 4th practise session and it's seemingly divided the entire sport. Riders like Marc Marquez are for it, but others like Fabio Quartararo aren't. There's even been talk of a riders union as a result of this. Dre and Cam do their best to try and make sense of all of it all. We also had a race, and Francesco Bagnaia has now gone undefeated since becoming a criminal. Three on the bounce, but only minimal title damage as Fabio Quartararo *somehow* finished 2nd at a terrible Yamaha matchup. We talk about the state of play in the title race.
