Chris, Beau and Nate react to a full NFL Week 14 slate. Comebacks, blowouts and the playoff picture becoming more clear. Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to a very important comeback over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, effectively knocking the Bengals out of the postseason. The Houston Texans did the same thing to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who now need a lot of help to make a wild card spot. The Indianapolis Colts took a huge hit with Daniel Jones' injury knocking him out for the rest of the season and hanging the Colts playoff odds in the balance. Now the Jaguars and Texans seem to be the leaders in the AFC South. And the Pittsburgh Steelers took care of business against the Baltimore Ravens and took control of the AFC North. Governor Wes Moore is backāand this time, the stakes are even higher. As Trump tests the limits of presidential power, perhaps the most exciting and inspiring Governor in America joins Paul Rieckhoff to explain how far the White House can really go in deploying the National Guard into American cities, what is and is not a ālawful order,ā and how governors can (and must) hold the line. From war-crime allegations to loose talk about striking Venezuela, Moore lays out what responsible, principled leadership looks like when America's global reputation is collapsing fast.ā Recorded during ArmyāNavy week, Paul and Wes dig into why that game should be āmandatory viewingā for anyone who wants to understand real patriotism, service, and brotherhood. Drew Franklin and Billy are at the helm as Week 14 featured some matchups in the snow! The Bills were out in the cold but seemt to be hitting their stride. Did we just see Aaron Rodgers best game with the Steelers? The Titans put together a win over the Browns. The Giants were on a bye this week, so watching Jameis Winston as a game analyst was entertaining. The Colts have lost 4 of 5 and Daniel Jones injures his achilles. The Vikings shut out the Commanders. The Bucs have dropped 5 of 7 after losing to the Saints. Bears-Packers lived up to expectations at Lambeau. The Broncos have won 10 in a row, but are they as good as their record? The Lions likely ended the Cowboys playoff hopes. Another win for the Seahawks and Rams, is Matt Stafford still your MVP? A big win for the Texans over the Chiefs and a tough game for Travis Kelce. Plus, a big Monday Night Football matchup coming up between the Chargers and Eagles! December 8, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 60 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 14 Sunday road game against the Baltimore Ravens. We also discuss the Steelers now leading the AFC North and having their playoff chances rise significantly after beating the Ravens. In our weekly housekeeping portion of this Monday show, which is sponsored by the fine folks at TouringPlans.com, Alex and I talk about the Sunday afternoon inactive list and how it surprisingly included WR Roman Wilson. We talk about WR Adam Thielen and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling both being active on Sunday along with WR Scotty Miller and why HC Mike Tomlin seemingly decided to go in that direction. The Steelers sustained several injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to TE Darnell Washington, ILB Malik Harrison, and T Andrus Peat. We also discuss the Monday morning report of WR DK Metcalf needing to stay behind in Baltimore Sunday evening because of stomach pains and how he needed to go to a hospital to get checked out. After going through the newsy items related to injuries and the Sunday inactive list, Alex and I look at what all transpired at M&T Bank Stadium against the Ravens. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' offense and how we saw the deep passing game come alive. We also discuss what a great game that QB Aaron Rodgers played against the Ravens. We make sure to highlight the great play and extra effort of Metcalf on Sunday. We also make sure to hit on the Steelers running game being poor against the Ravens and how the offense failed to move the ball any in their final three possessions, all of which came in the fourth quarter. We then discuss the Steelers' defense doing just enough to win on Sunday and how several individual efforts on that side of the football played a big part in the victory. We also discuss the Ravens offense was unable to make key plays late in the game that could have won the game for them. We go over how the Steelers run defense still has room for quite a bit of improvement after Sunday's win in Baltimore. Obviously, there were several controversial plays that happened during Sunday's game, so Alex and I go over the three huge ones, all of which went in the Steelers' favor. We go over those plays by including what was said in the media pool report interview that took place with the game's referee Alex Moore and NFL Vice President of Instant Replay Mark Butterworth. After completely breaking down the Sunday game against the Ravens, Alex and I then address the Saturday report concerning Tomlin and his current contract and how it includes an option decision in March of 2026 for his 2027 year. We also discuss the NFL calendar in relation to March 1 and how Tomlin reportedly has a no-trade clause in his contract. Alex and I discuss how it's almost guarantees that Tomlin will be the head coach of the Steelers through at least the 2026 season and how team president Art Rooney II will more than likely exercise the 2027 year by this coming March 1. After discussing the Tomlin contract situation, Alex and I look at the AFC North division and the current playoff seeding. We also discuss how the Steelers' final regular season game against the Ravens may or may not have meaning by the time we get to Week 18. This 105-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Jerry kicks off with Aaron Glenn's take on the latest Jets disaster, then dives into the stunning Texans victory that dropped the Chiefs below .500. Hear how two late Joe Burrow interceptions handed the Bills a comeback win, plus the Nantz & Romo call on the Ravens' controversial non-touchdown, and Trevor Lawrence's thoughts on Daniel Jones' Achilles injury.
Jerry's back with all the NFL drama, starting with Gio on Andrew Fillipponi calling Lamar Jackson "overrated" and Lamar's fiery reply. The Chiefs lost thanks to a disastrous 4th-down call by Andy Reid, while the Bills topped the Bengals because of two costly Joe Burrow interceptions. Plus, the hapless Jets officially extend their playoff drought to a miserable 15 years!
The Texans handed the Chiefs a loss, prompting Boomer to label it one of Patrick Mahomes' worst games ever, while Aaron Rodgers told critics of Mike Tomlin to "shut the hell up" after the Steelers beat the Ravens. Meanwhile, a completely meaningless late-game field goal by the Raiders caused a truly brutal bad beat for countless bettors.
The Jets were destroyed quickly in a 21-0 first-quarter rout, while the resting Giants lucked into the #1 draft pick after a Titans win. Does Daniel Jones' latest injury confirm Joe Schoen's long-held fears. The Bears plummeted from the #1 seed to #7, a meaningless late-game Raiders field goal, and a controversial rule robbed the Ravens of a crucial touchdown.
