They praised Cooks' productivity in the NFL and questioned his fit on the Saints' roster. Rohit Ponnaiya, a betting analyst for Covers.com, joined Steve and Jeff to recap the start of the NCAA Tournament and preview the upcoming matchups. Ponnaiya shared his thoughts on the SEC, the Big East, and the Round of 32. Steve and Jeff interviewed Eric Edholm, a lead draft writer for NFL Media, and Brad Sham, the voice of the Dallas Cowboys. Edholm recapped a "boring" free agency, previewed the 2025 NFL Draft, and evaluated Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan's fit with the Saints at pick nine. Sham remembered Brandin Cook's recent tenure in Dallas after the veteran wide receiver signed a free-agent contract with the Saints. Sham also praised new Saints head coach Kellen Moore as an "offensive genius." Steve and Jeff previewed the Pelicans' matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, LSU baseball's top-10 showdown against Texas this weekend, and the start of the NCAA Women's Tournament.

In this episode, Tera Wages sits down with Phyllis Hill and Echo Hill Vedder to talk about a game-changing concept: desire vs. capacity—the difference between what we want to do and what we actually have the bandwidth for. They discuss how ignoring our capacity leads to burnout, why so many of us push through exhaustion, and how tuning into our bodies can be the key to reclaiming energy and joy. Echo shares how she learned to listen to her body instead of the judge in her head, and Phyllis gets real about hitting empty after years of over-functioning. They explore many ways to grow capacity, shift limiting beliefs, and make space for what truly matters—without guilt or shame. Plus, they break down how emotional processing through Connection Codes helps expand capacity and disrupts the pain cycle not just for ourselves, but for our entire community. Ever wonder what it really takes to survive the chaos of live comedy—while keeping both your soul and your liver intact? Chad pulls up a chair with the mullet-rocking, mic-wielding Uncle Lazer to peel back the raw layers of a life stitched together with laughter, grit, and a few scars along the way. They get into it all: the high-wire act of staying sober enough to deliver your best, the delicate art of turning a room full of strangers into your biggest fans, and why crowd work is both a comedian's worst nightmare and deadliest weapon when mastered. Uncle Lazer holds nothing back. From the doors that slammed in his face to the breaks that launched him forward, to advice his mama gave him as a boy, he lays it all out. But this episode isn't just punchlines and applause. It's about the shadows behind the spotlight, the battles with darkness, the struggle to find your tribe, and the reality of building something real when the world is watching. This is the side of comedy you won't see on stage. So, Mormonism doesn't have the best reputation on this show. And honestly, given their policies toward queer people, that's not exactly surprising. But, there are some people working within the religion trying to make it more inclusive and open-minded. One of these groups is Understanding Sexuality, Gender, and Allyship - or USGA - a support group that gave queer students at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah a place to find community. And one of the people that went there religiously (see what I did there?) is AJ Romriell, a US-based writer who also happens to be the partner of former Lost Spaces guest Terrance O'Brien Henderson. We got together to talk about why that group was so vital for AJ, and particularly the significance of it being allowed to meet on campus... until suddenly, it wasn't. On today's show, Mike Detillier and Cullen Steele break down the news that former Chiefs and LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has signed with the Saints prompting us to wonder about Alvin Kamara's availability as the season wraps up before having Audacy Sports Insider, Nick Friedell, drop in to help us make sense of the chaos that is the New Orleans Pelicans right now, and later on, Glen West, senior writer at Geaux247.com, tells us all about the noise Brian Kelly is making in the transfer portal as the Tigers look towards the future. Later on, Mike and Cullen welcome in Brad Evans, Audacy Sports BetQL Insider and host of "BetMGM Tonight", to detail the biggest games, odds, lines, spreads, and more before hearing from Steve Geller during our Triple Option segment. After, Steve and Cullen discuss the state of the Pelicans as trade rumors pick up and call up Tom Silverstein, Green Bay Packers beat reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, to go over some of the Packers player makers that will look to beat up on the Saints in some frigid weather. Finally, the guys hear from head coach Willie Green and point guard/shooting guard, CJ McCollum, on where the team is at right now and what is next for them before closing out with Jeff Nowak, Saints sideline reporter and WWL digital content producer to tell us all about the Saints looking to evaluate what they have right now, the feel good news of the day coming out of the facility, and more.

Oliver Johnson, the synthesizer maestro better known as Dorian Concept, graces our latest episode with tales of musical evolution from "failed jazz artist" to electronic music luminary. Renowned for his collaborations with Thundercat, MF Doom and Flying Lotus, Johnson opens up about his unorthodox journey and the creative philosophies that guide him. We journey through the making of his latest EP, "Music from a Room Full of Synths," recorded at the Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments, where jazz, funk, and hip-hop merge with club sounds.Another topic that came up was on how Dorian navigates artistic identity and societal expectations, revealing how personal experiences can forge a path to authenticity. From childhood piano lessons that prioritized play over pressure, to encountering musical influences that shaped his tastes. If you like what I'm doing with Lost and Sound, please like, rate, review or subscribe to the show on your podcast app of choice – it really does help."Music for a Room Full of Synths” is out now, check it out here. Follow me on Instagram at PaulhanfordLost and Sound is sponsored by Audio-TechnicaMy BBC World Service radio documentary “The man who smuggled punk rock across the Berlin Wall” is available now on BBC Sounds.
