Jeff Yagher Sculpts His Own Destiny Jeff Yagher had a memorable role as Iden, leader of a rogue group of Holograms from the seventh season "Star Trek: Voyager" two-parter, "Flesh and Blood," but these days, it's his hands that do the performing. After a successful acting career, Yagher transitioned into an even more successful sculptor, creating amazing work sold by places like Sideshow Collectibles, among others. It's been a long road, but his work - whether on-screen or with a lump of clay - speaks for itself. Jeff discusses his epic debut role as Kyle Bates in "V," working with Angela Lansbury multiple times on "Murder, She Wrote," getting beat up at Medieval Times while dressed as a knight by Chuck Norris on "Walker, Texas Ranger," stories about Pat Morita, and more! Plus, plenty of Trek Talk, including the role he auditioned for in TNG, tips from Trek alumni Spencer Garrett and his wife Meghan Gallagher, working with Robert Picardo on VOY as well as illustrating his Trek book, and more behind-the-scenes stories! Then, we take a tour around his art studio and hear about his brother and renowned makeup artist Kevin Yagher and the story of how Jeff transitioned from acting into sculpting some of the coolest statues of horror and sci-fi icons and being one of the best at it. This diorama is from Star Wars Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 10. Darth Maul wrested control of the Mandalorians by defeating Pre Vizla and taking ownership of the Dark Saber. Darth Maul still harbored incredible hatred toward Obi-Wan Kenobi. He also knew of the Emperor's plans of grooming Anakin Skywalker to be his next apprentice. Maul's plan was to cause a battle between between the Republic and the Mandalorians on Mandalore. His hope was Kenobi and Skywalker would be sent to quell the fighting. Instead Ahsoka is the one who shows up. What ensues is one of the most epic lightsaber battles in all of Star Wars, including the movies. This diorama captures a scene from that battle with Ahsoka and Maul fighting in front of the Mandalore throne. Product Description “I see the Padawan needs one … last … lesson!” Sideshow presents the Ahsoka Tano™ vs Darth Maul™ Diorama, a dramatic new Star Wars™ collectible spotlighting an iconic lightsaber duel between two fan-favorite characters. I recently purchased the Sideshow Batman Premium Format statue and I have to say, I am extremely impressed. The level of detail on this statue is simply astounding. From the intricate folds of Batman's cape, to the realistic wrinkles on his suit, every aspect of this statue has been carefully crafted to accurately represent the Dark Knight. One of the things that I love most about this statue is the pose. Batman is depicted mid-stride, with his cape billowing behind him and his fists clenched, ready for action. This dynamic pose perfectly captures the character's powerful and determined spirit. The materials used to create the statue are also top-notch. The statue is made of high-quality polystone, which gives it a hefty, high-end feel. The paint job is also impressive, with each color expertly applied to create a lifelike appearance. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Sideshow Batman Premium Format statue. It is a stunning piece of collectible artwork that perfectly captures the essence of the Dark Knight. I would highly recommend this statue to any Batman fan. Batman Premium Format Figure limited to 500 worldwide by Sideshow. The Batman: Modern Age Premium Format Figure measures 21” tall, perched atop an Arkham cemetery base with a grim expression beneath his signature mask. Fans familiar with the shaded history of Gotham's famed asylum may recognize the marks of madness carved into the gravestones beneath Batman's boots. The polyresin Batman: Modern Age Premium Format Figure stands ready to bring justice to his city, wearing his iconic blue and grey costume composed of a sculpted tactical bodysuit which bears his iconic yellow and black bat-symbol on the chest, as well as a muted gold utility belt at his waist. Batman's blue sculpted gauntlets, boots, and white-eyed cowl all bear the scars and fatigue of realistic battle-damage, giving the Dark Knight a sense of history as the defender of Gotham. The Caped Crusader also features a tailored blue fabric cape with a black underside, distress detailing, and internal wiring that allows you to pose the material for added dramatic flair. The Batman: Modern Age Premium Format Figure is extremely limited to an edition of only 500 pieces, making this a must-have Batman collectible for DC Comics fans. This Iron Studios 1/10 scale Ahsoka Tano statue is based on her appearance in the Mandalorian series on Disney Plus. The face sculpt really looks like Rosario Dawson. There aren't many pieces to this statue and the build was easy. Product Summary Sideshow and Iron Studios present the Ahsoka Tano 1:10 Scale Statue - Art Scale BDS Series from The Mandalorian. The orange-skinned warrior Togruta is a native of the planet Shili and carrier of the Force. Silent and swift, like a hunting cat, she stealthily moves among the trunks and roots of the forest planet Corvus. Carrying two sabers in each hand, she follows her own ideals of justice and freedom, using all her Jedi training and her ample experience in combat. Trained by Anakin Skywalker himself, Ahsoka Tano does not have official recognition as a Jedi, despite having the ability of one. Created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni and introduced in the Star Wars universe in 2008 through the animated series The Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano won over fans with her charismatic, rebellious personality, thus consolidating her protagonism in the saga. Played by Rosario Dawson in the second season of the series The Mandalorian, the character is introduced for the first time in live-action. Ahsoka joins forces with Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Mando) to free the city of Calodan on the planet Corvus from the tyranny and oppression imposed by imperial magistrate Morgan Elsbeth. EPISODE 26: Seren and Rey reconvene to TRY and review a comic blatantly chosen as something tied to the upcoming LOVE & THUNDER Thor movie (out early July!) AVENGERS ASSEMBLE VOL. 2 #10 Released December 2012 Writer(s) Kelly Sue DeConnick Penciler(s) Stefano Caselli Inker(s) Stefano Caselli Colorist(s) Rain Beredo Letterer(s) VC's Clayton Cowles Editor(s) Tom Brevoort Lauren Sankovitch Jake Thomas Cover Art: Greg Land, Frank D'Armata and Gabrielle Dell'otto Variant by Gabriel Dell'Otto What eventuates is a short discussion on Jess' involvement in the issue and her interaction with Thor (and Hulk) before the two hosts end up just shooting thebreeze and having fun chatting about what we love - Jessica Drew! Remember - To Know Her Is To Fear Her! Enjoy! SYNOPSIS (courtesty of Wiki): Iron Man's analysis reveals that the creatures burst from the bodies of the researchers after using them as incubators, and that the parasitic bacteria they grew from was in the water supply. The information comes too late to stop Banner from drinking some of the water and contracting the bacteria himself. Realizing that his body will become an uncontrollable Hulk to fight the infection, they move him to a safe room aboard the helicarrier and prepare for the dangerous proposition of trying to inject the Hulk with antibiotics. Meanwhile, Captains Marvel and America trace Sergei Sorokin to an unauthorized plane takeoff over Australia and intercept in a Quinjet. The aircraft is commanded by Yun Guang Han, a ruthless terrorist who abducted Sorokin before poisoning the other researchers' water supply to use them as guinea pigs for the bacteria's effects. Han drops several mindless, ghoul-like henchmen directly onto the Quinjet to attack it, forcing Carol to land while Steve boards Han's plane. Captain America comes face-to-face with Han, who threatens to immediately release the infection on the countryside below if he doesn't back down. With no other choice for the time being, the Avengers let the bad guys escape. VENOM BLASTS (things to look out for in episode)!!
