Today on Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're discussing Kanye West's latest internet meltdown and what it reveals about the state of our unfortunate over-sexualized and depraved culture. From celebrity chaos to societal decay, it's clear—without God, the world spirals into total confusion and sin. We're breaking down the bigger picture and talking about why it's time to turn away from worldliness/wickedness and the dysfunction of degeneracy and back to the truth and love of Christ. Jesus is the only sane way forward, ladies and gentlemen.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-copy?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=tbs_thebiblestudy_searchads-nixwdmd&tw_source=google&tw_adid=608801073541&tw_campaign=17672311083&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC-_2dRN1WU6lhTaWFNApFgzBkVe_&gclid=CjwKCAiAwaG9BhAREiwAdhv6Y_Xc6w4LM7_4otTu1-XgzYjKKwhwbNBCdqLFVTDdXToND7Rt6JU2hBoC3hsQAvD_BwE

Danny Edwards knows where he's going after he dies and he's not afraid to answer any questions you may have. At 16, athough always in trouble and with more freedom than most teenagers, Danny had a deep side to him and often wondered: "What happens after death? And how should I live so that I find out the answer to that question? What is the truth?" Today you'll hear how the Gospel worked a miraculous transformation in Danny at age 20 through a circuitous series of events including moving to Colorade to join an Ashram and becoming a Sikh, all in his search to find God and answers to his deepest wonderings. And yes, Danny loves talking about death. You will get excited and blessed as you listen to today's episode, Gospel Transformation With Our Eyes On Eternity with Danny Edwards. Danny and his wife Kimber of over 30 years have raised 5 chidlren and are happy and busy grandparents of 8. Some gems from today's conversation: At age 16, I began asking: "Where am I going after death?" I did Yoga 6 plus hours a day, joined an Ashram and became a Sikh, but I still didn't find the truth. One night I got on my knees and cried out, "Jesus, tell me if you are real!" A believer from India challenged me, "You've tried so many things—why not read the Bible and begin with the Gospel of John." I finally saw that what Jesus was saying wasn't said by anyone else; I believed and never doubted since that time. I want to live this earthly life in preparation for the great life beyond. I write letters to people I know who are facing death so that they know and are comforted by the truth of the Gospel: their better and best life is in front of them if they believe the Good News. We can have a healthy view of death by reading the book of Revelation and meditating on his great and precious promises.

Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our discussion on spiritual visibility. How can we maintain our focus when we face trial and opposition? Our Scripture references were 2 Corinthians 4:17 and Ephesians 6:10-11. Here, we are reminded to keep our eyes on eternity. Having the Word stored in our hearts will help us remain strong and radiant in our post-Christian culture. We talked with our guest, Jon Gauger, about the importance of Scripture memorization, and he shared some of his favorite Bible memorization tips. Jon has been with Moody Radio for over 30 years. He hosts several nationally syndicated programs and has narrated more than 50 audiobooks. Get Jon's top 5 tips and all the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew podcast. When our eyes are focused on the present, we often live for the present. But as disciples of Jesus, we are meant to be set apart. We are meant to live differently. What would it look like for our eyes to be so caught up on eternity that it transformed how we live now? Our perspective on suffering, challenges, and frustrations would dramatically shift and our Kingdom impact would increase.

John 14:1-3 Jesus tells his Followers that He will come back for us one day.
This week on our Journey Through John we continue with chapter 6. Jesus tries to tell the crowds that they have needs that are not only material but physical.
You are either a body or a soul. What if the eternal part inside of you is waiting to meet up with the eternal part of people you love on the other side of eternity?
Do you wonder what heaven will be like? What if there was evidencesomething great was waiting for us on the other side?
KEEPING YOUR EYES ON ETERNITY // Ray Almeida by VINE CHURCH
This week as we wrap up our EYES ON ETERNITY series Pastor Dustin takes us to John 2 to look at Jesus' first miracle at Cana. From there, we see that in order to have a life of legacy that honors Jesus we need... 1. An awareness of His presence 2. A desperation for HIs voice 3. To realize what God has given us 4. A desire to work hard 5. A desire for people to see Him clearly.
This week we continue in our series EYES ON ETERNITY and Pastor Dustin poses two questions that we'll have to answer when we get to heaven - What did you do with Jesus and what did you do with what He gave you?
We're in week three of our series EYES ON ETERNITY and this week Pastor Dustin talks about the importance of us having our eyes focused on eternity. There are lots of things in this world Satan will try to use to distract us from the mission God has called us to because if he can't destroy us, he will try to distract us!
Life is full of challenges and hardships. Add on top of that a slow march towards the end of our lives and we could easily get discouraged. What if there is a totally different way to view our lives that is not only true, but much better? Is there a way we can be encouraged on a daily basis no matter what we face?
Did you know the heaven we go to when we die is not the heaven we'll spend eternity in? This week in week two of our EYES ON ETERNITY series Pastor Dustin explains how God had a plan from the beginning of time. Just as we study blueprints to know the final outcome, we can study God's Word and see how throughout the Bible His plan is to redeem and renew all things.
This week Pastor Dustin kicks off our legacy series for the year - EYES ON ETERNITY. As a church, we want to live with eternity in mind and we believe that when our eyes are on eternity, that affects how we live in the here and now! Listen in as Pastor Dustin highlights three truths from Habakkuk 2:1-3 that not only impact how we live as a church, but how you can live your life!

Homily for the Monday of the First Week of Lent The final judgement is the end of human history and the beginning of the eternal state. There will come a time that the Messiah will gather all the people in the world and separate each of them from who will be rewarded in heaven and who will be tormented in hell. While living here on earth we should do our best to fulfill our mission to God and that is to be a good and loving brother or sister to our fellowmen. As God's children, He expects us to help everyone around us, especially the poor ones, because in our Lord's eyes we may be rich or poor, but we are all equal. Our Lord also expects us to be humble and generous to everyone, even to people who did bad things to us. We should be patient, understanding, and learn how to forgive those kind of people. In the end all people will die and we should put in mind that what we are doing here on earth we should do it not just because we want to enter heaven, but because we are willing to do that for the people around us and for God.

Sunday Night - Pastor Russell James: Eyes On Eternity
When life gets hard, what is your hope? What helps you weather the storms of life? As believers, we will experience suffering and hardships on this side of eternity. We have to ask: what helps us persevere and not lose hope? The key is to set our eyes, hearts, and minds on eternity. This is really important, but even as believers, we may not know the why and how. In this episode, we talk about what setting our eyes on eternity means, and how we can practically do it in our everyday lives. The saying "live your life in light of eternity" is one that we here often as believers, but what does this really mean? Daniel Henderson, in his book Glorious Finish: Keeping Your Eye of the Prize of Eternity in a Time of Pastoral Failings, outlines why focusing on God's glory is the key to a fruitful ministry and how leaders can build habits that keep them captivated by God and His glory.
