That's the last time KITM hires that local kid “Big Balls” to do IT work. Yesterday's show file wasn't recorded… which one could only wish happened to the first 15 minutes of today's show as David Waldman on-the-fly set up the KITM VoIP connection to Greg Dworkin. It's the economy, stupid, and no one could possibly handle it more stupidly than Donald K. Trump. Inflation was lower than expected in February… remember February? That was so long ago. Trump's own advisors are terrified because they see what's coming. Americans are finally getting the picture, as if that really matters. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick hasn't yet seen the underside of the bus but can tell you that it's a wonderful place to be. Go see Crazy Don for crazy deals! Right behind the White House just off Pennsylvania Avenue! Green card holder, American spouse, kid on the way, Mahmoud Khali was disappeared after using his Constitutional rights in a politically incorrect (for March 2025) manner. Columbia, gem of private higher education, did exactly what Trump wanted, therefore their future destruction as an example will be doubly satisfying. Ohio, for one, welcomes their anti-DEI overlords to all of their 14 public universities and 23 public colleges. Georgetown University, in Washington DC, sees diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of their compliance to a higher authority… the Constitution. Greenland's election was between 6 parties, 5 who want independence from Denmark, 6 who want independence from Trump. The US closed its eyes to Ukraine intelligence, encouraging the Five Eyes intelligence alliance to become the Four Eyes intelligence group, which does sound more intelligent. House Gops sent their unclean CR to the Senate. Let's see if Dems can keep from being weenies over there now. Walt Nauta should be in jail, so of course he's on the U.S. Navy's board of visitors. Trump communications chief McLaurine Pinover defended DOGE Layoffs while efficiently modelling cute outfits.
Compilation of all of Karl Pilkington's short-lived, but truly astounding feature: Cheeky Freak of the Week. An off-the-wall segment in which Karl introduces his dearest friends, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, to a random "freak" person with some sort of deformity or abnormality. He never meant to be insensitive or have a go at these people. Instead, he was just utterly fascinated with any kind of oddity or strangeness. Karl's mission is for people to put themselves into a little weird fella's shoes, and ponder what being viewed by society as a freak would be like. Mad, innit? In this fourth episode in Eric's new series on Teddy Roosevelt, he unpacks the formative season of this great man. It wasn't in the comfortable shade of an easy life, but in the open air arena of great challenge and adversity. The greatest men and women never emerge out of ease--they always emerge from the soil of extreme challenge and from overcoming impossible odds.

Four Eyes is sharing an all-new Case Reflection episode where Dr. Bilkhu and Dr. Kar discuss a patient encounter that led to firing the patient from the practice. This is an important conversation that new graduates and young ODs can learn from, especially when working as an associate doctor within a corporate or private practice setting. The conversation dives into what could lead the doctor and staff to become uncomfortable with a patient, how a decision to break up with the patient comes to be, and what steps should be taken to ensure the procedure is handled appropriately and professionally. It's rare to have these conversations openly with other Optometrists, so be sure to listen to the entire episode and take notes! The Depth Perception podcast was lucky to be joined by the Four Eyes Optometry podcast (Dr. Deepon Kar & Dr. Amrit Bikhu). Over happy hour, they played games and had conversations about eyecare. After introductions the two groups first played, “Would you rather”; Eyecare Edition. Then the groups went through answering some questions including, “What are some questions to ask doctors when you are shadowing them." Additionally they answered the question, “Is optometry worth it.” Finally, they ended with two truths and a lie. In this hour-long episode, the Four Eyes hosts dive deep into a conversation with Dr. Davinder Sidhu, an Optometrist practicing in British Columbia, regarding business metrics that apply to business owners and associate doctors. This is a very rare topic of discussion for young Optometrists, as business training is not taught in most Optometry schools. Dr. Sidhu shares very detailed information about the numbers we should be paying attention to in a practice, and how we can use those numbers to increase profits as well as patient satisfaction. The best part about this episode is that Dr. Sidhu's advice applies not just to business owners, but also young associate Optometrists who are wanting to grow and become more involved within their practice location. You will not find the depth of this information anywhere else in the Optometry world, so be sure to listen to the entire episode and take down notes! Dr. Dan Friederich joins the Four Eyes podcast to share how he elevates the patient experience by offering high-quality ophthalmic products that aren't available through mass distribution, and how that unique patient experience then leads to better Google reviews for the practice. This is a great conversation that emphasizes the importance of setting expectations in the quality of care we provide to patients, encouraging staff members to believe in those expectations, and achieving a great reputation within the community by getting patients to share their experiences on Google. Part of the entrepreneurial mindset is to have thick skin and we're diving into how develop that as a business owner. Before we start, be sure to grab the free workbook that goes along with this episode. One day when I was in fourth grade, I came home crying because the boys were calling me Brussels Sprouts and Four Eyes. My mom told me sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you.I look back now and realize two things.First, the name Brussel Sprouts was actually kind of funny since my maiden name was Russell. Second, rather than my mom telling me that I wasn't a brussel sprout or that my thick pink rimmed glasses made me pretty, she simply told me that these names physically weren't doing any damage and I could decide how the bully's words impacted me.My mom gave me my power back. With that silly saying, I decided how I was going to handle the name calling. My emotions were up to me and I could control them.In that moment, I developed thicker skin. Skin that allowed me to decide whose words mattered, and if what they said actually held any merit.Read more HERE.

Dr. Maharaj joins our podcast (for the third time!) to share the journey behind merging his successful dry eye specialty practice into a nationally recognized ophthalmology practice. The cohesive relationship between EyeLabs and the Prism Eye Institute is an excellent demonstration of how ODs and OMDs practice together as "heroes" to treat the common "villains" of eye disease. Dr. Maharaj shares not only his journey towards the Prism Eye Institute, but also his opinion on how Optometry is shifting. In what has been a delayed podcast, the REP Team celebrate 10 years of this quirky spin off and see if, after a decade, its much maligned status requires a reappraisal? In this recording we look at how well the game holds up with Neptune in particular taking the multiplayer out for a spin for the first time ever! George Trevor also brings his expertise to the table having interviewed the games director Andrew Santos a few years ago and sharing tales of ORC's troubled production. We also take a detailed look at ORC's canonicity in light of the REmakes that have come since. Once brandished as sacrilege for messing up the geography of Birkin's Lab and the Raccoon Hospital when compared to the original titles, does has this burden been lifted with RE2 and RE3 remake? Is it time to embrace to Party Girl and Four Eyes? We also have a recap of this summer's news as we build up to the next RE Showcase and we are delighted to be joined by special guest, HappySmelly!
PUG JOHNSON AND THE HOUNDSAMERICANAPug Johnson and The Hounds hail from the Golden Triangle region of Southeast Texas, and their sound reflects the blend of musical influences that have converged there. Johnson met Southpaw Smitty in 2017 who took it upon himself to form a band for the young writer in early 2018. The original lineup featured Chris Webb on drums, Zach Edd on bass, and Southpaw on guitar, mandolin, and banjo. The band began learning the list of songs that Johnson had written since the dismantling of his first project Slow Rollin' Lows as well as the list of covers that he had reimagined into his own arrangements. That same year, the band went into Four Eyes Studios in Beaumont, TX and recorded their first single “Calling My Name” under the guidance of producer/engineer Ryan Johnson. The following year, The Hounds would revisit Four Eyes twice more to record “Johnny” and “Back to Austin.” 2019 also found the Hounds adding drummer Chris Cropper and trombonist Andrew Rhoads to the lineup. In the shit show that was 2020, the Hounds were unable to be as active as anticipated and yielded only one single in October of that year with “Coyote Ken Tucky and the Navajo Bucky and Their Perilous Journey Through Corsicana, TX in the Year of our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen.” This release gave listeners a glimpse into the humor that lives and breathes within the band as well as highlighted their varying musical influences.https://open.spotify.com/artist/7Jrh16v5jTLnomhJCDH1CU?si=gWtKacZvTiq91s-K03WknQhttps://music.apple.com/us/artist/pug-johnson-and-the-hounds/1441089659https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6jL9NPzhCKCxYqxhfdsimghttps://www.facebook.com/PugJohnsonandTheHoundshttps://www.pandora.com/artist/pug-johnson-and-the-hounds/ARJ29ZccwnXn6lJ

Yes, we're only discussing three thrillers with the word "eye" in the title, but trust us, we did the math. That title is correct. EYE FOR AN EYE (1996, John Schlesinger) EYE SEE YOU (2002, Jim Gillespie) RED EYE (2005, Wes Craven)
