It's all change on the Premier League managerial front this week. Out with the old (and bald), and in with the new (no balds, sadly). Andoni Iraola is off to Liverpool, Crystal Palace have started talks with the magnificently named Pierre Sage, and Marco Silva jets off to take the Benfica hot seat. No Marcus today, now you know why.Luke takes the reins and is joined by Jim and David to discuss the post-season musical chairs. There's also Tonda Eckert's rather uncomfortable apology and a de facto referendum on José Mourinho.Get your Ramble World Cup watch party tickets hereFind us on Bluesky, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and email us here: show@footballramble.com.Sign up to the Football Ramble Patreon for ad-free shows for just $5 per month: https://www.patreon.com/footballramble.***Please take the time to rate us on your podcast app. It means a great deal to the show and will make it easier for other potential listeners to find us. June 1st dropped like a bomb on the NFL offseason, and the Korner Booth Podcast is breaking down every massive move. The most anticipated trade of the 2026 NFL offseason is finally official: three-time Pro Bowler AJ Brown is headed to the New England Patriots, and the ripple effects are enormous. The Eagles are getting a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder in return, giving Philly the cap flexibility they desperately needed while handing Drake Maye a bona fide WR1 to grow with. With Mike Vrabel having a strong history and relationship with Brown, the fit in New England makes all the sense in the world, and suddenly, the Patriots look like legitimate AFC threats. We're breaking down what this means for both franchises, what's left of the Eagles' receiving corps, and whether AJ Brown's best football is still ahead of him. But that wasn't even the biggest trade of the day. The Cleveland Browns have sent two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams for Jared Verse and multiple draft picks, including a 2027 first-rounder. Nobody saw this coming — the Browns spent all offseason insisting they weren't trading Garrett, the face of their franchise, and yet here we are. The Rams sent Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, and other draft compensation to bring in the five-time First-Team All-Pro edge rusher. Coming off a record-setting 23-sack campaign, Garrett joins a Rams squad that is clearly going all-in for a Super Bowl run with Matthew Stafford. Los Angeles is building something terrifying on that defense, and the NFC just got a whole lot more dangerous. And then there's the storybook signing that has the whole football world buzzing. OBJ is coming home. The New York Giants have officially signed Odell Beckham Jr., bringing one of the most electric wide receivers in franchise history back to Big Blue. The 33-year-old signed with the Giants on Monday after working out with the team earlier in the day, reuniting with head coach John Harbaugh, who has maintained a close relationship with OBJ. In just 59 games with the Giants from 2014-18, Beckham climbed to second in franchise history in receiving yards, and now he's back to help a wide receiver room dealing with uncertainty around Malik Nabers' knee recovery. Football cannot come back soon enough. All of that, plus more NFL offseason reaction, on another episode of the Korner Booth Podcast. Subscribe, leave us a review, and keep it locked to the Korner Booth for the hottest takes in sports. #KornerBoothPodcast #NFLOffseason #AJBrown #Patriots #Eagles #MylesGarrett #Rams #OBJ #Giants #NFL2026 #NFLTrades #DrakeMAye #MikeVrabel #NFLNews #FootballPodcast

In Class With Carr 325 comes live from Justice for Greenwood's weekend of rituals marking the 120th anniversary of Tulsa Oklahoma's Greenwood District, where the memory and residue of “Black Wall Street” illuminates irreconcilable questions of violence, self-determination, and state power. We discuss nation-state's monopolies on violence, restrictions on movement, and how Africans and indigenous communities continue to resist in pursuit of freedom. In many ways, stories of Tulsa and Greenwood present as a microcosm of the US, where settler colonialism, Indigenous sovereignty, and African world-making converge, clash and intersect. Through reflections on repair, governance, memory, and community, we observe that Greenwood's story is our story. As the US continues its barreling toward a contested 250th anniversary, this lesson feeds and shapes this week's Momentum of Memory: We are all Greenwood. Are you a member of Knarrative? Dan Campbell flips the switch at OTAs Dan Campbell sounded different on Friday. The Detroit Lions head coach came across caffeinated, focused, and all business. He pushed a reset. He stressed football first, everything else second. "It takes everybody to win, and it takes everybody to probably lose," he said, framing the summer with clarity. Campbell acknowledged the noise that follows success. "It's a lot easier when nobody knows who you are," he noted, pointing to hype, players getting paid, and coaches moving on as distractions from the core. His directive was simple. Get back to work. Make it about football. Make it about the guy next to you. That message read like a mission statement for 2026. It fit the Detroit Lions trajectory and the standards he set in previous climbs. Back to basics after a noisy offseason The discussion touched on process tweaks. Questions about a rookie camp and fewer pre draft visits came up around his offseason deep dive. Campbell would not pin last year's disappointments on any one thing. He leaned into no nonsense. The NFL rewards teams that handle details and ignore the echo. Jeff Risdon framed the moment against a shifting landscape. He pointed to staff movement, citing the Ben Johnson departure and a Martin Glenn departure. He also noted how a roster with paid stars changes daily life. Internal hype can creep in. Campbell's message cuts through that. The Detroit Lions Podcast circled it as the right antidote. Football first. Teammate first. Everything aligned with the head coach's voice. OTAs snapshot and what comes next Friday's open OTA session gave a look, but not a full reveal. Jeff was not in attendance and did not feel he missed much. Interviews from the field with Scott Bischoff and Scott DiBenedetto helped fill in context. It is June. Installation, tone setting, and baseline habits matter more than headlines. The show also teased summer content. Emery Hunt is slated to join to talk UFL prospects. Louisville has UFL buzz, with the Louisville Kings drawing interest even after the Michigan Panthers' exit from the market. The viability of a second league will be a topic on a future live stream. The NFL calendar slows now, but the evaluation drum keeps beating. Campbell's words are the thread through it all. Peel away the hype. Ignore the side shows. The Detroit Lions can fly under the radar again only by choice. They can choose the hard, boring work that wins. Friday sounded like that choice. #detroitlions #lions #detroitlionspodcast #dancampbell #otas #lionsoffseason #pressconference #bradholmes Learn more about your ad choices.
