Out Of Season:The band is back in town, but Michael, Chris, and Dev are no longer in their twenties. Returning to Ibiza and the hotel where it all began thirty years ago, Neil D'Souza's razor-sharp comedy, Out Of Season, explores the gulf between past aspirations and present realities. As they trip down memory lane, Holly and Amy arrive, down-to-earth enough to save our feckless heroes from humiliating themselves. Written by Neil D'Souza and directed by Alice Hamilton, this comedy picks apart how we come to terms with the past and face the future.Lady Windermere's Fan:Oscar Wilde's irreverent comedy, Lady Windermere's Fan, follows the young Lady Windermere as jealousy over her husband's apparent interest in a mysterious older woman threatens to ruin lives. Set in the upper-class English society of the late Victorian era, the play satirises the hypocrisy of outwardly strict moral rules. With Scarlett Archer as Lady Windermere, George Banks as Lord Windermere, and Olivia Hallinan as Mrs Erlynne, this production promises dazzling period costume, live foley, and an immersive experience.I Just Like You | a gay myth:Written and directed by Zachary Wilcox, I Just Like You | a gay myth explores the complexities of gay dating through the intimate story of Pat and Leo. Pat, searching for something deeper, and Leo, who's developed an allergy to intimacy, find themselves unable to resist each other. Following a sold-out Edinburgh run, this play, long-listed for prestigious awards, marks Wilcox's London debut and stars Chandler James and Conor Mainwaring. The Big Life:Set in 1950s London, The Big Life follows four men from the West Indies—Ferdy, Bernie, Dennis, and Lennie—who arrive with high expectations and aspirations. Eager to make successes of themselves, they decide to forswear wine and women for three years to focus on their future. However, the women they meet—Sybil, Mary, Zulieka, and Kathy—have different ideas. This joyful Ska musical, blending Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost with the Windrush generation, returns to the stage 20 years after its Stratford East premiere.Wild About You Interview:Darren interviews Brian Spector, producer of the brand new musical Wild About You in a concert premiere starring Eric McCormack, Rachel Tucker, and Oliver Tompsett.

We'll meet Daniel Hirai, George Banks and Mark Robinson to take a tour of a building that's the size of twenty-nine football fields.
This week, after an all too brief return to the cobbles, Henry Newton bowed out of the show once more following a brutal rejection from Gemma. For this week's bonus podcast, we sat with actor George Banks to chat about what it was like to step back into Henry's shoes after five years, ponder how the character has changed since we last saw him, and quiz him about why on earth Henry would employ someone like Gemma as his PA!

On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 17th and the 21st October in the UK (Episodes #10771 - 10776) This week's Street Talk starts off with something a bit different as we discuss a scene we saw filmed back in August starring Dee-Dee and the Platts that never ended up being broadcast. How's THAT for behind the scenes goss? After that, we return to our usual discussion of the week's episodes, and we're not exactly the biggest Summer and Aaron fans, but if you are, good news! This week, Weatherfield's drippiest couple are back on again after Summer discovers she's up the duff. Fortunately for us, we pretty much enjoyed everything else that went on this week, including the return of Harvey as Leanne visits him in jail, the continuation of the bonkers but brilliant adventures of Bernie and Fern, and the return of Stephen to our screens after a few weeks off. With Gabrielle demanding her money and Jenny and Teddy starting to worry about what's happened to Leo, surely it's only a matter of time before Stephen cracks and starts throwing bins around again... Next up on the podcast, we head over to The Kabin to see how Corrie fared in this week's Inside Soap Awards and celebrate the news that ex-Corrie cast member (and friend of the podcast!) George Banks has landed himself an exciting new role in the West End. After a bit of a bumper feedback section, we round off the podcast with a Kabin Extra, where we discuss some exciting news that broke this week about a storyline that's going to hit our screens in about a month's time.

Last year for Father's Day Erin and I had our husbands on, they were pretty OK. This year I've found someone with a little more experience at this fatherhood game...my dad...John Salo! You might remember him from the end of the Camping episode. Really we have a nice little conversation about fatherhood, raising daughters, and what life was like in the olden days when you only had to dial 5 numbers to call someone...FIVE!! He brought me a beer to test, the Bud Light lime to be exact (obviously he hates me), he finally picks the Cadbury Caramilk bar as his product, and he gives his dad shout out to GEORGE BANKS from Father of the Bride! We wish all the father figures out there a wonderful day, you're all amazing! Send us your parenting stories to momvoicepod@gmail.com, and find us on all the socials.
June is officially Baby Month here at Large Marge Sent Us as we prepare to welcome Sweetie Jr. into the club oh so soon! So to start off we watched Father of the Bride Part II, probably one of our favorite baby centric movies and really a near perfect sequel. All the favs from the original come back, Annie is married and pregnant and surprise, Nina, mother of the bride is too! This is A LOT for poor George Banks to handle as he oscillates between guy going through a mid life crisis because he's about to be a grandfather and guy going through a crisis because he's about to be a dad thrice over at the age of 56. Whew, poor guy. We'll talk about some of the Hollywoodisms surrounded pregnancy, labor and delivery, how George Banks' level of obsession with his daughter is borderline creeper, and what we think of the name Chloe Dankman for a baby name! Every party has a pooper guys!
Renowned wedding coordinator Franck Eggelhoffer faces the challenge of his career with the Banks-MacKenzie wedding. Jon Griggs is the Ranch Manager for Maggie Creek Ranch LP in Elko, NV. No one's quite sure of the exact date, but sometime in the late 1800s, two men raised as brothers—George Hunter and George Banks—founded what today is called the Maggie Creek Ranch. The ranch has exchanged hands a few times since then but has been owned and still active ownership of the Searle Family since 1975. Maggie Creek Ranch is in the business of producing high-quality beef while conserving and improving public and private lands. Their goal is to be the best possible stewards of their resources while feeding the world through production agriculture. The operation consists of approximately 198,000 acres of owned (deeded) and leased BLM (grazing permitted grazing land.) Jon's got 30+ years of ranching experience and running some of the largest outfits in Nevada, and at one point worked for the biggest landowner and rancher in America, which he will get into on the show. He currently serves as President-Elect for the Nevada Cattlemen's Association and is on the board of trustees for the Western Folklife Center. Jon worked his way up from Cowboy, to Cow boss, to Ranch Manager at Maggie Creek, and has learned many things along the way, including how to manage people. It was a real pleasure speaking with Jon and one of his many quotable moments that stood out to me during the show was when he said, “I talk about the people I work with, I don't talk about the people that work for me. I try to learn as much about them, and with that get the best of them, and figure out the skills that they have fit, with what we need.” Jon is as genuine and authentic as a person that you are going to meet. This week we dive into sidewalk chalk drawings, I mean, two beloved childhood musicals – Mary Poppins (1964) and The Music Man (1962). One of these is still in frequent rotation, while the other has sat dusty on the shelves for 30 plus years. Julie Andrews still dazzles us in her practically perfect way. The magic and life lessons about cherishing childhood for the very brief time that we have it still rings true with all of Bert’s sage advice to George Banks. The power of love being able to change a man who seems like nothing more than a two bit swindler has us a bit more skeptical all these years later. The congregation moved to what is now Spiritus Christi when the church members were excommunicated. On our latest podcast, we check out the episodes of Corrie broadcast in the UK between the 29th and the 31st August. This week, Angie's had enough of Jude's apology bolognaises and tells him it's over.. and with a surprise vow renewal ceremony just around the corner, what could possibly go wrong? Meanwhile, Kate's gutted to hear Rana could be leaving her for a six-week cruise, and there's gun horror for Peter outside the factory...which turns out to be nowhere near as dramatic as it sounds. Yeah... not the best set of episodes this week, really! Never mind, though because after Street Talk, we've got an interview with one of our favourite recent additions to the Corrie cast - George Banks! Could Henry and Gemma have worked as a couple? Which other Corrie character did George once audition for? Is he really as posh as Henry in real life? All shall be revealed! That's followed by our weekly news section, where we take a look at the awesome Corrie costumes at the Manchester Pride as well as weighing in on the controversy surrounding Ryan Thomas in the Big Brother house this week, then we finish off with a bit of listener feedback. The Brothers Wilson release the first ever October episode of Hey, an Actor! to coincide with the first birthday of Pandy's daughter / Ian's niece, even though the episode technically stands as their September 2016 output! But have no fears as to the episode quality, as not only does this episode look at actor / narrator Morgan Freeman, but it's the first one to be recorded with Ian's swanky new microphone! (Which may or may not have teething issues.) As for the films, listen out to hear which brother practically cried when watching the 2007 dramedy The Bucket List. After that, the hosts look at Driving Miss Daisy, with one Wilson being decidedly unimpressed with Dan Aykroyd's dramatic range. Topping things off is arguably Freeman's finest hour in The Shawshank Redemption, in which the HAA! strawman "YOU~!" is born. All this, plus the return of the jinglemeister himself: George Banks!

Peter Duncan, Jonny Clarke and George Banks will be heading the cast of the 2014 national tour of Rachel Wagstaff’s stage play Birdsong, adapted from the novel by Sebastian Faulks, when it comes to the Wyvern Theatre later this year. The three cast members marched into the Town Centre to visit the cenotaph ahead of their performances in Swindon in July. Peter Duncan, though perhaps best known as a Blue Peter presenter, began his acting career in the 1970s when he joined the National Theatre. Recent theatre credits include Denry Machin in The Card (for which he received an Olivier nomination for Best Actor in a Musical), Alan Ayckbourn‘s Things We Do For Love, the twins in Corpse, Stan Laurel in Laurel and Hardy, Macduff in Macbeth and Fantastic Mr Fox, both at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park, and the title role in Charlie Peace - His Amazing Life And Outstanding Legend at Nottingham Playhouse and Coventry Belgrade's B2. Peter will be playing the role of Jack Firebrace in Birdsong. Birdsong will run at the Wyvern Theatre from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 July. Book tickets today at http://wyverntheatre.org.uk
On Monday 13 January, the 2014 national tour of Rachel Wagstaff’s stage play Birdsong, adapted from the novel by Sebastian Faulks, was launched at the National Army Museum. This stunning piece of live theatre will be performed at Swindon's Wyvern Theatre from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 July 2014. In pre-war France, a young Englishman, Stephen Wraysford, embarks on a passionate and dangerous affair with the beautiful Isabelle Azaire that turns their worlds upside down. As the war breaks out, Stephen must lead his men through the carnage of the Battle of the Somme and through the sprawling tunnels that lie deep underground. Faced with the unprecedented horror of the war, Stephen clings to the memory of Isabelle and the idyll of his former life as his world explodes around him. The 2013 tour was hugely successful and critically acclaimed, seen by over 75,000 people and receiving 4 and 5 star reviews, with audiences calling the show ‘simply stunning’. Sebastian Faulks is thrilled the show is being re-mounted for 2014, the year that will mark 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War. The tour of Birdsong will continue to support Help for Heroes, after raising over £50,000 through collections and events on the 2013 tour. Birdsong will again be directed by Alastair Whatley, with set design by Victoria Spearing, lighting by Alex Wardle for Charcoalblue and sound by Dom Bilkey. Birdsong will be produced on tour by Alastair Whatley for The Original Theatre Company and Anne-Marie Woodley and Jon Woodley for Birdsong Productions Ltd.
