Official Website: https://www.lawabidingbiker.com In this podcast episode, I had the pleasure of talking with Paul James, Sr. Manager of Public Relations at Harley-Davidson, and Mike Case, Group Chief Engineer for Vehicle Platforms at Harley-Davidson about the Pan America, Harley's first dive into the adventure motorcycle market. To get up to speed, make sure to watch my video titled, The Real Harley-Davidson Pan America Adventure Touring Motorcycle Release-What You Want to Know! SUPPORT US AND SHOP IN THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER STORE With the adventure segment of the market already well established with bikes like the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, a direct competitor to the Pan America, a ton of market research and customer feedback was gathered prior to the creation of the Pan America. I learned during our conversation that Harley-Davidson did not go into this project lightly and really did their homework to make sure the Pan America would be a serious competitor in the adventure market, yet with its own unique style and flare. This is a completely new frame and an all new engine, the Revolution Max 1250 liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, V-twin engine, which has double overhead camshafts. The Revolution Max puts out 145 horsepower, 94 ft-lb of torque, and gets around 46 mpg. CHECK OUT OUR HUNDREDS OF FREE HELPFUL VIDEOS ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBE! There is a ton of technology baked into the Pan America such as adaptive ride height, rider modes, electronically adjustable suspension modes, a six-axis IMU, adaptive lighting, and a 6.8" touchscreen infotainment system, just to name a few. Paul and Mike break everything down in this podcast episode to include the design process, specifications, and marketing of the Pan America. So, you'll have to listen in to this episode to get all the details. It'll be well worth your time if you're at all interested in this new adventure motorcycle from Harley-Davidson. Guests: Paul James has worked in powersports his entire career, working as a journalist in the snowmobile industry, in marketing at Arctic Cat, Inc. (snowmobile, ATV and PWC) and for the past 23 years at Harley-Davidson. Paul has held a variety of roles at H-D, including Marketing/PR, Events, Product Planning, and Go-to-Market. He is currently Sr. Manager Public Relations and is an avid motorcycle rider and racer. Mike Case is a lifelong motorcyclist and has spent his entire career in automotive and powersports and the last 19 years at Harley-Davidson. He is currently the Group Chief Engineer for Vehicle Platforms and oversaw the team that brought the all-new Pan America and Revolution Max engine to life. Dan and Shawn are joined by NHL.com's Toronto-based staff writer Mike Zeisberger and Golden Knights insider Gary Lawless. Lawless defended Vegas coach Peter DeBoer's choice to start goalie Robin Lehner over Marc-Andre Fleury in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Second Round against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Lawless talked about the challenge the Golden Knights face if forward Mattias Janmark can't play in Game 2 after sustaining an injury on a hit from Avalanche defenseman Ryan Graves in Game 1. He gave some ideas for what Vegas' lineup could look like if Janmark can't play. Zeisberger went into detail about the fallout from the Maple Leafs' latest playoff setback. They blew a 3-1 series lead against the Montreal Canadiens by losing Games 5 and 6 in overtime before getting eliminated with a 3-1 loss in Game 7 at home on Monday. Zeisberger also talked about the big questions that await the Maple Leafs in the offseason. Do they trade one of Auston Matthews, Mitchell Marner or William Nylander? Who is going to be their No. 1 goalie next season? Will the fallout of the loss impact president Brendan Shanahan, general manager Kyle Dubas and coach Sheldon Keefe?
It's time for Blake and Sal to bring back Mike and Leandra to preview the Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round, even though the first round isn't over. Enjoy this quickie show!

Hardware stores and home improvement shows often promote do-it-yourself projects. And while it’s challenging to make your own projects look as good as the ones on TV or in glossy brochures, building something yourself can be a very rewarding experience. The trouble is, the DIY approach can sometimes cloud your perceptions of the value of your project. In this episode of Choiceology with Katy Milkman, we look at how putting personal effort into something—be it a hand-knit scarf, a new deck, or even a small business—can lead people to overestimate the value of that effort.Michael Ojo is a web developer and pilot influencer. He runs a popular YouTube channel called MojoGrip, where he shares his love of aviation. It’s also where he documented a project near and dear to him: the building of his first kit airplane, the Sling TSI. You’ll hear the story of Michael’s epic project. Everything from the steep learning curve, to the technical challenges, to the trials and tribulations of building a complicated piece of machinery in the midst of a pandemic. And then, the big question: will it fly?Next, Mike Norton joins Katy to discuss the science behind why people tend to place a higher value on their own projects, using research that, among other experiments, observed volunteers as they completed simple origami projects and then had them auctioned off against origami made by an expert. The results were surprising, and quite charming, as you’ll hear from our re-enactment of the experiment.Michael I. Norton is the Harold M. Brierley Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School and co-author of the book Happy Money: The Science of Smarter Spending. Finally, Katy discusses the ways in which you can leverage this effect to boost happiness and satisfaction, while avoiding the pitfalls of overvaluing your own handiwork.Choiceology with Katy Milkman is an original podcast from Charles Schwab. This Week in the Big East - Weekly Overview of NCAA College Basketball's Top Conference
This Week In The BIG EAST Radio Show, distributed by Westwood One wraps its seventh season with BIG EAST Coach of the Year Mike Anderson, two of the BIG EAST Players of the Year, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and the voice of Georgetown radio Rich Chvotkin. There is a tournament title to be won at The World’s Most Famous Arena and an NCAA Tournament on the horizon as the final episode of TWITBE takes a quick look back on the year and the accomplishments of the league for finishing the season. The BIG EAST Focus lens is on St. John’s head coach Anderson, who had another winning season at the helm of the Red Storm. Anderson was voted BIG EAST Coach of the Year by his colleagues after leading St. John’s to the No. 4 seed after being picked ninth in the preseason poll. The BIG EAST Focus shines on both Seton Hall’s Mamukelashvili and Villanova’s Robinson-Earl. The pair make up two of the three players selection for BIG EAST Player of the Year. Mamukelashvili takes a self-reflection on his confidence, his career at Seton Hall and his journey to become a standout for the Pirates. Seton Hall is one of the BIG EAST Tournament’s semifinal teams. The Focus turns to Robinson-Earl, who talks about how winning BIG EAST Player of the Year is one of his dreams come true and how his decision to stay with the Wildcats instead of playing professionally helped him develop both on and off the court. Longtime Georgetown play-by-play announcer Chvotkin gives view on the national perspective. As the Hoyas voice for 47 years, Chvotkin has been a part of every BIG EAST Tournament ever played. He brings a unique insight on the Hoyas and the tournament as a whole. The returning hosts for This Week In The BIG EAST (#TWITBE) are John Rooke, a longtime BIG EAST play-by-play voice, and Kevin McNamara, BIG EAST reporter, columnist and author. Rooke and McNamara give a comprehensive look at the teams, coaches, players and storied tradition of the top basketball conference in America in each episode. The episode’s “Who’s Hot” segment features audio clips from some recent big performances around the league and a recap of the league’s weekly honors. “Who’s Got Next?” takes a look at the upcoming schedule, highlighting the big matchups. Join Wendy and Topher as they interview the following guests: Health- Nikki Lawley Nikki Lawley Bio Nikki Lawley, Cannabis Advocate and Educator Traumatic brain injury stole my joy, but cannabis returned it. ❈ Nikki, a NY state resident, has always been a proud and diligent worker. She's served as an HVAC filtration salesperson, later starting her own company, then as a casino dealer, and most recently, as a pediatric nurse. She had suffered two traumatic brain injuries during her younger years, but it was the third TBI that suddenly changed everything. In a heartbeat, her life changed from one of optimism, vibrancy, enthusiasm, confidence, and extroversion, to one of constant pain, withdrawal, depression, and hopelessness. While trying to help administer a routine vaccine to a young boy, Nikki was thrown against the wall, suffering a significant TBI and cervical instability in the process. Nikki's TBI has caused cognitive deficiencies, confusion, memory loss, anxiety, and pain. She found herself unable to work, unable to interact with others, and in a very dark place. None of the numerous traditional medications she's tried helped, and if fact, their ghastly side effects left her even worse off. She had long since reached the end of her rope, when, on a whim, figuring she had nothing more to lose, she turned to cannabis. Little did she know that this seemingly mundane weed would save her life and restore her hope. Cannabis helps Nikki alleviate her pain, reducing it from unbearable levels to more manageable ones, and empowering to her to live her life again. She has shared her story and journey with many, she is a member of multiple online support groups for individuals that have suffered head injuries, she serves as an active voice in the cannabis communities, and she hopes to use her story to inspire others to never give up.
