Jonathan Wilson is a former Navy SEAL and Founder of INVI Mindhealth. This episode documents his life and work, on and off the battlefield. Wilson's interest was set on the military at an early age, as his Father was an MP and traveling around became the norm. He would eventually set his sights on the Naval Academy and Naval Special Warfare. Wilson's early days were marked with mischief that nearly ended his career. Yet, through fate and luck, he made it to "Hell Week." He excelled in the SEAL Teams with a demanding op tempo and fighting in some of the worst combat zones like Sadr City. After multiple deployments, he left the SEAL Team's to explore a civilian career on Wall Street. The toll a high stress career at Goldman Sachs took on his family life and the lack of purpose ultimately lead him back to the Teams. After winding down his incredible career, he went on to start the Seal Future Foundation and INVI Mindhealth. http://www.filmgarantiti.it/it/articoli.php?id=448LA VERA STORIA DEL CECCHINO PIU' LETALE D'AMERICAUn soldato con il dito posato sul grilletto osserva da un mirino una donna e un bambino uscire dalla porta di una casa di una qualsiasi cittadina irachena.

For Rafael being on set and being a part of the reunions, and production of The Long Road Home had a huge healing effect he didn't see coming. Doing all we can to honor those we lost during our deployment and their loved ones. Assigned to HHC 2-5 CAV, SPC Ellis worked in the Battalion TOC (Tactical Operations Center) Lancer Mike. Military TOC's are the nerve centers of the battlefield, the Command and Control Centers where operation plans and decisions are made. This is also the hub of communication and the callsign you call when you are outside the wire and need help! We all take away our own stories from our time in Iraq. We have little memories mementos and things that take us back to that time on the ground. In many ways, a lot if not all of us lost a piece of our innocence. Sometimes we lose that innocence behind the mic, hearing your brothers on the other end in desperate need of help with little you can personally do to help other than your job manning that mic. Angel's youngest brother Jeremy Arsiaga was a Marine Corps Veteran and died by suicide on September 4th, 2015. This is her story. For Angel, Losing one brother to combat was a painful and tragic loss. Lossing another to suicide seemed insurmountable. It took an incredible amount of courage and vulnerability to share this story. In the sixth episode of this Podcast Series about the Battle of Sadr City on April 4th, 2004, I sat down with Sylvia Macias and the host of Head Space And Timing, Duane France. Sylvia approached me with a story she really wanted to tell. This is a story of two brothers, two of her sons. Robert her oldest son was killed in action on April 4th, 2004. Her youngest son Jeremy was lost to suicide. Veteran Suicide is an epidemic and we need to take a stand. To stand by and with those who are hurting and their families. We are all relatively familiar with the loss of life on the battlefield. Many soldiers are killed due to small arms ambushes, rocket-propelled grenades, IED's, and even accidents on the battlefield. These losses are hard to take, hard to accept, and leave a gaping hole in the lives of those friends and families left behind. Suicide is much harder to wrap your arms around. The loss and pain may be the same but there is a different set of emotions around suicide that makes it particularly hard to talk about. Feelings of regret, anger, and even shame. It is hard to talk about, Veteran suicide. It is a growing epidemic in this country but needs to be discussed. Where do we start in doing that? Sylvia displays so much courage sharing the story of both her sons. Robert and Jeremy both died fighting a battle, they were just on different battlefields. Our hope is that you will be able to learn something from our conversation. If nothing else, just know that there are others out there that need help, perhaps one of them is you.
