OA1148 - We interrupt your regularly scheduled T3BE to bring you three stories of why Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the worst. Matt starts off by reporting on how ICE disappeared one of his detained clients shortly before his scheduled bond hearing this week. On that theme, you might have seen the viral video of an attorney confronting deportation officers at his minor client's home. What in the world was that? Matt has the brekadown. We then try to understand why the Supreme Court has just agreed that the President can kidnap and throw pretty much any non-citizen* out of the country so long as he calls them “alien enemies” and ICE mumbles something about due process first. *citizens TBD UPDATE: ICE has confirmed since the time of this recording that Matt's client is in New Mexico, 2200 miles from where he was supposed to have a bond hearing on April 7th.

SPECIAL GUESTS DIONNE SMITH AND REYNA DUENEZ!!! Its been a frightening couple weeks here in the homeland. I feel for my dear friends in Boston who had to endure both the bombing, and the frightening Military Exercise ran thereafter. There were Militarized raids in Oakland following Boston's - and no reason was given for those. I'll examine the inconsistencies in that story, and perhaps more importantly - speak to the "New Normal" of living under a military occupation here in the States. Yet for people of color in this country? This has been Normal forever. A series of events in Southern California are going to be protesting the epidemic of Police brutality and murder of unarmed, innocent people of color. The movie "Crimes of Police" is premiering in Stockton tomorrow to set the stage... followed by an Oxnard College "Justice for Our Community" event and be culminating in a Statewide March from Camino del Sol Park. We will be talking to Ernest Duenez Jr.'s sister. Ernest was shot 11 times while trying to exit his truck - his foot was tangled in the seatbelt. He was unarmed. Dionne Smith, the mother of James Rivera - boy of 16 who was shot over 48 times by the Stockton, CA police will also be joining us. Our own troops are being used against us. We are living in a War Zone, and we are their enemies. They are killing us with immunity. Our lives have no value to them.
