Bei einer Kollision zwischen einem Postauto und einem Auto sind am Dienstag in Koblenz zehn Personen verletzt worden, zwei davon schwer. Nun ist klar: Der 20-jährige Autofahrer kam auf die Gegenfahrbahn und kollidierte mit dem Postauto. Die Gemeindeversammlung von Künten-Sulz bewillgte am Donnerstag einen Planungskredit mit 85 Ja zu 45 Nein.

Heijeijei, mal wieder ganz schön was los! Vor fünf Wochen veröffentlichten der Filmemacher Christian Suhr, der Schriftsteller Behzad Karim Khani und ich (AICreator) das Video “Oma, was war nochmal dieses Deutschland?” - zusammen mit weiteren 33 Co-Produzenten. Ein Film, der sehr viele Gemüter erregte, aufwühlte oder erzürnte (bisher ca. 1,5 Millionen Streams auf YouTube und Instagram). Damit ist uns das gelungen, was wir wollten: grelles Licht zu werfen auf die fatalen Pläne einer Gruppe Menschen, die sich im Winter 2023 in einer Potsdamer Villa trafen, um die Massenvertreibung von Immigranten zu planen - im Falle einer Machtübernahme. Unser Film spielt im Jahre 2060. Die Großmutter erzählt der Enkelin, was damals in Deutschland passierte, als diese Pläne in die Tat umgesetzt wurden. In der heutigen Episode sitzen wir drei zusammen und diskutieren, was seit der Veröffentlichung passiert ist. Und das war eine ganze Menge. Neben wüsten Beleidigungen, Gewalt- und Morddrohungen von fragwürdigen Zeitgenossen gab es überwältigend viele unterstützende Reaktionen von Mitmenschen, Medien, Politikern und Unternehmen. Sein Onkel, der Filmemacher Christian Suhr (“Sage Nein!”), saß vor zwei Wochen in meinem Bus, um mit mir darüber zu sprechen, wie extrem sich das Filme-Machen in den letzten Jahren durch KI und Technologie verändert hat. Heute spreche ich mit dessen Neffen - Ole Suhr, 18 Jahre alt, auch Filmemacher. Aufgewachsen und vertraut mit den Technologien dieser Zeit, mit wachem Geist und unglaublich kreativ. Einer, der Technologie schon immer als Werkzeug verstanden hat und unermüdlich neue Sachen ausprobiert. Und so sitzt vor mir einer, mit frischem Abitur in der Tasche, der eben nicht nur die Kamera halten kann, sondern ganz selbstverständlich auch extrem gut Drohnen steuern und digital Videos editieren kann. Für Ole sind die Dinge, die für mich und meine (gewöhnlichen) Gäste total neu und verrückt sind, total normal. Dieses Gespräch ist ein spannender Blick hinter den Vorhang eines sehr talentierten jungen Mannes, der mit komplett anderen Augen auf die Dinge schaut, die die mediale Welt bewegen. THERE IS A CONCERTED EFFORT TO HIRE LEFT WING TEACHERS And after yesterday's story about how Denver's highly educated young new transplants identify as socialists I think it's time we started to pay attention to this to make course corrections. According to the National Opportunity Project's new study, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hiring practices in K-12 schools require teachers to adhere to left wing ideology. At 12:30 I'll talk to Daniel Suhr, NOP Senior legal fellow about how this shifts the focus from core competence to political ideology and can prevent the best teachers from being hired in our schools. Read about the study here. Denver is represented in the study and I wish I were shocked by how racially loaded the Denver system is but I'm not.

As the NBA Finals tip off (tonight), our guest this week is a man who helped lead the Detroit Pistons to back-to-back world championships, part of his 45 years of coaching college or pro basketball, which also included being a scout and assistant coach for the Olympics "Dream Team." (3:36) Coach Brendan Suhr tells some fascinating stories about being an assistant coach under Chuck Daly for the "Bad Boy" Pistons, including Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars, now in one of the top positions in the NBA. One of his fellow coaches was the dad of current Denver Nugget's head coach. One the other side was a guy named Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls! Suhr talks about helping to come up with the "Jordan Rules" at 2am in a hotel lobby, during the playoffs. He says coaching is taking players where they can't take themselves. (13:38) What does it take for pro athletes to have that really strong winning mentality? Part of it is buying in, and it takes everyone to do that part as a team - not just in sports but other career fields. Suhr gives us the 3 keys to coaching. For NBA players, (19:36) staying in shape is essential, but Coach Suhr says they used to not play during the offseason, taking a break from basketball and getting needed recovery...but nowadays, overtraining leads to more injuries. Running for an hour every afternoon of a game day was Suhr's ritual. Along with being on the bench for the Pistons in the early 1990's, he also has helped coach the NJ Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Orlando Magic. (27:19) The most dominant team doesn't always win the NBA Finals, he says, and the Miami Heat have the confidence, but he believes the Denver Nuggets will win thanks top having the league's best player plus home court advantage. Suhr has known both head coaches since they were teenagers, including Erik Spoelstra who started in the video room. (32:41) He also founded and has led "Coaching U" for the last 15 years, teaching how to be a great coach, business leadership, and more.
