Happy Hole-idays, my little Hormones! For our last episode of the year, we welcome Coco, the Time Traveling Slut, into your tight little earholes to answer some eternally pressing questions: Where do sluts come from? Have gay men always been promiscuous? Have lesbians not? Who were the greatest skanks in history? And why can't women f*ck in peace, for once, generally speaking, like ever? From the original Biblical temptress, (St)Eve, to Julius Caesar, Charles II, and Marie Antoinette, we take you on tour of history's scuzziest slores (slut whores), enriched with Coco's insider scoops – which, even for village bicycles like us, will shock and appall. (Oh! Suddenly I'm dripping.) Along the way, you'll get all the gossip about Ancient Greco-Roman Sluts; a little known Middle Eastern Startup that disrupted sex 2,000 years ago: it's called Christianity; ancient Indian and Islamic sex positivity, and much, much more. (No wait I am actually fully wet now.) You can get more good stuff from Coco on her Instagram, and make sure to book one of her tours in London or Paris if you're there in early 2025! Now, time to get lubed up and ready to ride, cuz this is one venereal Christmas special you can't afford to ignore! – If you like what you hear, please leave us a five star rating on Spotify, Apple, or your favorite platform. On the 51st Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & special guest Zach Throne from Corey Taylor's band and Bruce Kulick's band, review the 1981 legendary album from Ozzy Osbourne "Diary Of A Madman" Ozzy was one year removed from his incredible debut, Blizzard Of Ozz when he went back into the studio for his second solo studio album, Diary Of A Madman. Returning with Ozzy was the young guitar God, Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley on bass and Lee Kerslake on drums. This lineup will only have two albums under their belt, but perhaps the two greatest hard rock albums back to back. Diary Of A Madman may have topped his debut album. Randy Rhoads groundbreaking guitar playing went to an even higher level. Bob Daisley's bass playing and incredible lyrics added to the growing mystique and image of Ozzy Osbourne. Lee Kerslake's drumming excellence is on full display on the beginning of the opening track, "Over The Mountain." Ozzy's vocals and delivery is at its peak throughout this album. His underrated and underappreciated singing was some of his best work ever. The album was one again produced by Max Norman, but along with Ozzy Osbourne, Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley. The album went 3X platinum in the United States and made it to #16 on the US Billboard 200. It produced some of classic rock's greatest hits including "Flying High Again." The album is sadly the last album by this incredible unit and obviously Randy Rhoads last album ever. He passed away in a terrible plane crash during the Diary Of A Madman tour. A tragedy that robbed the world of one of the greatest guitar hero and by ALL accounts a beautiful human being. As usual the boys breakdown and dissect the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and the album cover against the previous 49 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew. This was the Patreon family member's pick. Max NormanHe produced some of heavy metal's most legendary albums, including definitive classics by Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth. He's also helmed fan-favorites from Lynch Mob, Dirty Looks, Dangerous Toys, Loudness, Y&T, Armored Saint and many more. Max Norman indulges us with stories about Randy Rhoads, Ozzy and Dave Mustaine. He also tells us about the time he and Henrik Ostergaard escaped a potential barroom beat-down; how he nearly produced Pantera's “Cowboys from Hell;” how a duct-tape trick with Paul Rodgers was repeated with Jason McMaster; and the clever recording techniques you never knew were all a part of the process. Created and Produced by Jared Tuten
Ozzy Osbourne, Bob Daisley, Jake E. Lee, Max Norman, and me.
This week we're joined by Jason McMaster to discuss the making of the 1989 self-titled debut from Dangerous Toys! As per usua with our Albums Unleashed episodes, we dig into many facets of this album as well as the circumstances around it. In this long-form discussion, Jason gives us the origin story of Dangerous Toys including how changes with his serious gig with progressive thrash band Watchtower would lead to him to moonlight with cover bands. One of these cover bands would turn into Dangerous Toys. The story behind how, basically, a party gig would turn into a major label band is pretty incredible. The chain of events, circumstances, and connections that would lead the band to being signed will surprise you. Additionally, Jason discusses the making of several songs on the album including 'Scared,' 'Sportin' a Woody,' 'Feels Like a Hammer,' 'Queen of the Nile' and more as well as what the studio environment was like with legendary producer Max Norman. Other interesting topics covered include the backstory of Bill Z. Bub, the band's mascot, hanging out on the Sunset Strip during the area's heyday, album photography done with Mark Weiss, a special promo jack-in-the-box item story that's crazy in and of itself and much more! If you love Dangerous Toys, this episode is a MUST-LISTEN! We thank Jason McMaster for being such a great guest with so many great stories! Be sure to check out Jason and co-host "Metal" Dave Glessner on the Talk Louder podcast as well! It's a great show! Dave “The Snake” Sabo is a guitarist, songwriter and founding member of the band Skid Row. The band was formed in 1986 with bassist/songwriter Rachel Bolan and originally called Darkness. They went on to sell millions of records and tour with Guns ‘N Roses, Motley Crue, Kiss and others. Their new record “The Gang's All Here” is a return to form and bridges the gap between the first two records. We discuss the new album and working with producer Nick Raskulinecz, plus some of the old stuff, and tons of great band trivia - much of which I don't think has ever been revealed before! On the 33rd Episode of the Album Review Crew of Shout It Out Loudcast, Tom, Zeus & Sonny review "Black Tiger" from “One of the hardest working blue-collar touring bands in hard rock history," Y&T. Formed in the early 1970's in California, Y&T is a melodic rock band that is always considered one of the most underrated bands in rock. Led by charismatic singer and lead guitarist, Dave Meniketti, Y&T has always been at the cusp of hitting the big time. Black Tiger is Y&T's 4th studio album. The album was produced by Max Norman of the Ozzy Osbourne, "Blizzard Of Ozz" fame. The album featured melodic hooks, fun lyrics and blistering guitar solos. As usual the boys breakdown and dissect the tracks and rank the songs. They then rank the album and the album cover against the previous 31 albums reviewed on the Album Review Crew.

Max Norman on Breaking it Down with Frank MacKay - Famed Music Producer by Frank MacKay
The albums reviewed each week on the Enter Sadmen podcast have to meet a theme. These are often tenuous and the lads aren't averse to stretching the elastic quite a long way when it comes to interpreting the episode themes that the Tico Torres Tombola of Topics & Themes spews out. Especially is it means Rich can choose a Rush album. But among their favourite themes are those that require them to each choose and album relating to a specific producer. The third knob-twiddler to come under the scrutiny of the pod, after Max Norman and Bruce Fairbairn, was Chris Tsangarides - a producer whose work with Y&T and Thin Lizzy already occupied places in the Hall of Fame's top 10 albums. Lining up for this episode were the Tony Iommi-produced and Tsangarides-engineered 1977 self-titled debut from Quartz, 1981's Spellbound, the second album from North-East band Tygers of Pan Tang, and Canadian rockers Anvil with their third effort from 1983, Forged In Fire. Tune in and find out where the riff to the title track from Sabbath's Heaven And Hell album really came from...
These guys were a blast to talk to! Both of their new Albums were Mastered by Max Norman who Produced Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T, Megadeath and many more! Max Norman quotes “There are some Brilliant Parts” in regard to the new album. The band is Scotty Bussey and Aaron Cabral. Enjoy!

In this episode of the Enter Sadmen podcast the lads are travelling back to explore another year from hard rock and heavy metal's golden era of 1970 to 1995. This time, they're slap bang in the mid-80s - they year Bon Jovi's hair exploded and you weren't anyone unless you had a keyboard player in the band. First up was Baby Tuckoo, a blink-and-you'll-miss-'em melodic hard rock band out of Bradford with their second - and. as it turned out, final outing Force Majeure. Lead singer Rob Armitage would briefly join German metallers Accept, but their two-album tilt at the big time left the world with some superior tunes that should have been bigger than they were. Next up, Seattle's other prodigal son Queensryche who followed up their debut album The Warning with Rage For Order, the record that would essentially lay down the marker for both sound and partiality to a concept album. And rounding off the episode, a jaunt to the Land of the Rising Sun and the gazillionth album from the mighty Loudness - this time launching their own bid for superstardom with the Max Norman-produced Lightning Strikes.
After a forensic examination of the work of Max Norman in Episode 22, the second visit to the control desk by the Enter Sadmen podcast headed for America and the man behind some of the biggest selling rock albums of the 80s - the late Bruce Fairbairn. Mention Fairbairn in a game of word association and the chances are the words that immediately spring to mind are Bon and Jovi. closely followed by Slippery, When and Wet. In fact, record a show about Fairbairn's work and it would be an act of near criminality to omit New Jersey's finest (with apologies to Springsteen fans) from consideration. Joining Jon and the boys were veteran rockers Aerosmith and their renaissance album from 1987, Permanent Vacation. And Steve deals up the joker in the pack with Gorky Park, the band mentored and championed by JBJ back in the day, and their self-titled debut.
Over time the lads shine a spotlight on the producers who've been responsible for some of the very best music hard rock and heavy metal offered up between 1970 and 1995. First up on the Sadmen stage is legendary British producer, Max Norman, whose contribution to the genre stands comparison with any of the big names on the other side of the glass during rock's classic era. With a list of production and engineering credits as long as Methuselah's beard, all the boys had to do was pick the three they thought worth of particular attention (at least until Max Norman Part 2 rolls around)... Which is how they end up spending 90 minutes talking through Megadeth's Youthanasia, Armored Saint's sophomore record Delirious Nomad and pre-operatic Savatage with their early release Power Of The Night.

Topics include the Behind The Scenes making of their new CD and how Max Norman, the legendary producer, assisted in the engineering of the release. John Gallagher gives insight on the unique chemistry that he shares with his brother Mark and new drummer Mike Heller. As tradition, John gives us his MT. RUSHMORE OF METAL - "Top 4 Bands he's toured with" and shares a not-so flattering METAL CONFESSION involving a known-wanker “GUITAR GOD." Metal Mayhem ROC show correspondent "Southern Cal" calls in from the beach of Melbourne Fla with a review of Metal City and a update on what the band has been up to for the last 20 years. About Raven: RAVEN is a rare thing in music, true originals – cut these guys with a razor and they will BLEED true heavy metal – a more intense live band does not exist on this planet! Hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England back in 1974 (yes – 46 YEARS ago!!!) The Gallagher brothers cut their teeth playing the pubs & clubs until solidifying their line up in 1980 with drummer Rob Hunter. The trio went on to release three of the most influential metal albums of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) inspiring every band of that era and beyond. Basically, without Raven you just would not have thrash/speed metal…. after all, the band did give Metallica & Anthrax their first tours! Following a tumultuous move to the USA, deals with Atlantic Records, indentured servitude and commercialism, Rob left the band in 1987 to be replaced by drummer extraordinaire Joe Hasselvander, who had made his name in cult doom band Pentagram, Savoy Brown and his own solo projects, adding a new dimension to the band. In 2001, guitarist Mark Gallagher was involved in a near fatal accident – but fought his way back from the brink and the band proved they were stronger than ever! This renewed spirit and attitude was reflected in the title of their 2010 album “WALK THROUGH FIRE” and in the career overview DVD “ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP”. 2014 found the band opening for Metallica (the band that Raven took on their first tour back in 1983) in Sao Paulo in front of 70,000 fans, and completing their finest album to date – ExtermiNation” which was released to universal acclaim from fans & critics alike in 2015! After a serious heart attack in May 2017 Joe Hasselvander has had to unfortunately relinquish the drum stool….taking over drum duties is the phenomenal Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy) who has immediately injected high energy into the band! Following an insane blur of world touring over the last 3 years, the guys released another RAVEN opus, “Metal City” in September 2020 taking their game to the next level…a scorcher of immense proportions! In a cynical musical landscape these days, where bands are not “gangs “but faceless corporations, RAVEN is a band that is REAL not FAKE – and proud of it! On this episode we chat with bassist Mike Watson and get the story on his musical journey with Texas rock legends Dangerous Toys, from their party rock beginnings at the Backroom in Austin, TX to recording with titan producer Max Norman at Sound City in Los Angeles. When you have a musical career spanning four decades you're going to have stories... and yes, Mike has a good Dave Mustaine anecdote. Remember Headbanger's Ball? We also discuss Mike's punk rock roots and his long running tenure with Austin punk royalty, Brewtality Inc., his his love of comedy, Geddy Lee's love of flying coach and a PSA to never leave home with out dryer sheets (Thanks Dave).

No quiero hacerlo cuanto tenga 60 años.

Bassist Anthony Esposito joins us this week for an enlightening conversation on his work with three guitar gods. Anthony's musical history makes for a great conversation and, while talking to us, he didn't hold back. In this episode, Anthony discusses the formation and beginnings of Lynch Mob. Founded by original Dokken guitarist George Lynch, the band wowed music fans with 1990's Wicked Sensation album. The partnership of Anthony, Lynch, drummer Mick Brown and singer Oni Logan resulted in a gem of an album from a very transitional time in music. Anthony talks about his audition for the band, his current thoughts on George, and the odds of a Wicked Sensation lineup reunion in 2020. Another guitar great that Anthony worked with is Ace Frehley. When Ace was putting together his comeback album 'Anomaly,' he enlisted Anthony to help with song ideas and production. His role grew from there. You won't believe what happened during the recording of this album as well as the reasons for losing his position in the band. It's a 'what could have been' story to the nth degree. Most recently, Anthony was brought on as bassist for Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel. His solid pocket during the tour for the first album helped hold things together and was a welcome addition on last year's 'Patina' album. In this episode Anthony touches on road stories from the RDC tour, recording conditions for the latest album, working with Jake and Max Norman, as well as the odds of Red Dragon Cartel continuing. We want to thank Anthony Esposito for a fun, candid discussion this week. We hope he'll join us again. We hope you enjoy Conversation with Anthony Esposito and SHARE with a friend! Contact Us!
