Ep. 9.- Todo comienza cuando la familia Simpson está viendo un especial de Navidad de Krusty, "Navidad de Krusty Sobre Hielo". El programa presenta a unos renos, un bastón de caramelo, y un muñeco de nieve, todos peleando con un monstruo verde llamado Grumple, quien avanza sobre los otros personajes navideños, tratando de robarles su espíritu navideño. Finalmente, los personajes le ganan al monstruo y celebran la Navidad. Marge y los niños deciden levantarse e irse en lugar de seguir viendo TV, pero Homer se queda discutiendo con el monstruo y pidiéndole que devuelva el espíritu navideño.

Skinner cuenta que Julianna había sido alumna de la Escuela Primaria de Springfield, pero que, como era una chica, no era muy buena en matemáticas. Todos quedan sorprendidos y Skinner trata de defenderse a sí mismo, pero solo logra empeorar la situación, y termina siendo echado del lugar. Ep. 21.- Todo comienza cuando Bart cree que ha desperdiciado todo su verano, entonces hace lo que tenía pensado hacer: Ganar un partido de Baseball, presentarse en una obra, ver el éxito del verano y tener un romance. Cuando termina su lista, Lisa dice que deben hacer su actividad de verano la cual era ir al mueso para ver una exposición de mujeres (Para gran desagrado de Bart y Homer) pero para suerte la exposición había sido cancelada y reemplazada por una de la "Historia de las Armas". Viendo una cola demasiado larga, Homer nota que Ned Flanders y sus hijos estaban al principio de la misma, y decide colarse.

Por supuesto esa afortunada ciudad no será la de ellos, pero Homer se niega a pensar eso y se dispone a conseguir la franquicia (la familia piensa que fracasará). Luego de una semana, Homer termina su proyecto: un nuevo equipo fútbol profesional llamado la Fusión Accidental de Springfield (Springfield Meltdowns), y la maqueta de un nuevo estadio. Ep. 18 .- Todo comienza cuando, durante una cena en el Holandés Cocinante, los Simpson se ponen a relatar tres historias cuyo tema es la náutica. Lisa cuenta el viaje del Mayflower, Bart sobre un motín ocurrido en un viaje a Tahití, y Homer sobre el hundimiento del crucero Poseidón.

Inspirado por la sugerencia de Ned Flanders de llevar a sus hijos con Maggie para que tengan varicela (ya que, si tenían la enfermedad de niños, era menos peligroso), Ep. 6 .- Es el Día del Padre y Homer está muy sorprendido por el regalo de Bart. Accidentalmente, Homer destruye el regalo de Lisa. Lisa queda muy apenada por esto y cree que el hombre siempre se aprovecha de la mujer, por lo que se rebela violentamente en la escuela, golpeando al Director Skinner y rompiendo una ventana. El Director Skinner llama a Homer y Marge para hablarles del problema de su hija y también, Skinner le muestra a Homer un traje de salamandra de seguridad. Homer toma el puesto de guardia de seguridad escolar para enorgullecer a Lisa.

Después de mirar algunas alternativas, Skinner decide contratar a la empresa de Lindsay Naegle. Las máquinas con comida poco saludable son instaladas, y la mayoría de los estudiantes las usan (excepto Lisa, quien protesta por el alto contenido de azúcar de las golosinas expedidas por las máquinas), pero Bart es visto usando las máquinas más frecuentemente.

Frink dice que desearía que su padre estuviera vivo para verlo ganar. Finalmente, Marge le insiste a Homer para que se deshaga del enorme caramelo. Éste lo lleva al basurero, en donde se encuentra con un enorme y enojado oso, del cual se esconde. Homer comienza a llorar y a gimotear como un cobarde, por lo que el oso se aburre de asustarlo y se va. Ep. 16.-El episodio comienza cuando la familia Simpson visita el centro comercial de Springfield. Homer quiere comprar ropa para caballeros gordos pero se queda atorado a la escalera eléctrica ya que los cordones de sus zapatos están desatados. En una sección, Bart encuentra un decodificador de precios de productos para seleccionar un novio y una novia para realizar una boda. Entonces, Bart decide gastarle una broma a varios ciudadanos haciendo una boda falsa. In almost a year of recording Beyond The Box Set, it occured to us this week that we've never actually covered a fully animated movie. So in the spirit of the new year, we decided to correct this oversight and turn our imaginations towards one of the most beloved animated features of the past decade, Pixar's WALL-E.  Written and directed by Andrew Stanton and Jim Reardon, WALL-E was one of Pixar Studios riskiest and most ambitious releases. Set in the wasted remnants of a long-abandoned Planet Earth, the movie follows a largely non-verbal trash compactor robot who dreams of experiencing true love - or at least the version of it depicted in his worn-out VHS of the 1969 musical Hello Dolly.  From its virtually dialogue-free first half to the depiction of a future in which humans have quite literally become oversized babies, WALL-E challenges its audience considerably more than the average children's movie. It was a gamble that paid off when the movie became a highly acclaimed global blockbuster, taking in over $200 million at the US Box Office and picking up the 2008 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.  Despite all this success, to date WALL-E has never been recomissioned for a sequel.
