Toy Story 5 is a 2026 American animated adventure comedy-drama film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Originaire de Gascogne, Rémi connaît particulièrement bien cet "autre de l'Homme", aujourd'hui présent en France exclusivement dans les Pyrénées. Cette série est l'occasion pour lui de nous faire (re)découvrir cet animal qui fascine autant qu'il inquiète, et ce depuis des millénaires...Dans cet épisode, Marc et Rémi nous donnent des billes sur la création d'une cohabitation la plus harmonieuse possible entre ours et humains. Animal omnivore, l'Ours brun peut s'intéresser à de nombreuses installations humaines (ruches, potagers...), qu'il peut lourdement dévaster dans le but d'obtenir un peu de nourriture. Bien qu'essentiellement végétarien, l'Ours brun est également un amateur de viande. En conséquence, tout comme pour le Loup, les conflits avec les éleveurs de brebis sont légion dans les Pyrénées, d'autant plus que les méthodes traditionnelles d'effarouchement, comme les chiens de berger, sont de moins en moins utilisées faute de moyens ou de compétences. Présent en Amérique du Nord, en Europe, en Asie, et même au Maghreb, l'Ours brun est l'espèce d'Ursidé la plus cosmopolite. Si certaines sont extrêmement connues du grand public occidental, en particulier le Grizzly, ce "brownie" originaire de l'Ouest américain, d'autres sont très discrètes dans le paysage médiatique : aviez-vous par exemple déjà entendu parler de l'Ours brun de Syrie, originaire du Levant ? Ou encore de l'Ours isabelle, sous-espèce himalayenne couleur miel ? Ou encore de l'ours bleu du Tibet, dont les empreintes de pas auraient inspiré la légende du Yéti ?Aujourd'hui, il existerait environ 200 000 individus, dont seulement une centaine dans les Pyrénées (à l'inverse, on en compte 120 000 rien qu'en Russie !). Et malheureusement, certaines sous-espèces ont été rayées de la carte très récemment par notre faute. Le Grizzly mexicain par exemple, a été vu pour la dernière fois dans les années 60. Probablement victime d'une campagne d'éradication durant cette décennie, la sous-espèce est, faute d'observations récentes, classée éteinte...___

Après une série dédiée aux manchots, nous partons à la rencontre de ces mammifères marins moustachus et aux pattes en forme de pagaie, à nouveau en compagnie de Mathilde Chevallay.Mathilde est docteure en biologie marine, vulgarisatrice scientifique et photographe animalière. Spécialiste des comportements de prédation des Otaries à fourrure, des Éléphants de mer du Sud et des Manchots royaux, elle a pu les rencontrer au sein d'immenses colonies lors d'expéditions menées aux Îles Kerguelen, juste au dessus de l'Antarctique.On continue notre fournée des Pinnipèdes extraordinaires avec le deuxième plus grand (et gras) de tous après les Éléphants de mer : le Morse. Exclusivement originaire de l'Hémisphère Nord polaire, cet énorme tas de chair et de lard (3m de long pour une tonne en moyenne) est connu pour sa dégaine très originale : c'est le seul Pinnipède à posséder des canines supérieures transformées en défenses (présentes chez les mâles comme les femelles). Pouvant atteindre 1 mètre de long, elles lui ont donné son nom de genre (dont il est la seule espèce actuelle) : Odobenus, littéralement celui qui marche sur ses dents !

Tout comme les Manchots, les Pinnipèdes représentent souvent des personnages atypiques un peu maladroits. Mais si les Manchots sont presque toujours très futés, les Pinnipèdes sont plutôt bébêtes, ne pensent qu'à s'amuser et à faire des numéros de cirque, ou bien à dormir. Enfin, ça c'est plutôt les Phoques et les Otaries : de l'autre côté, les Léopards de mer et les Morses sont souvent des individus peu recommandables, pour certains même assoiffés de sang. En tout les cas, ce sont des individus à part, tantôt attendrissants, tantôt complètement absurdes.___

C'est le cas notamment des espèces domestiquées par l'humain : regardez un chien, il aboie, joue et bat de la queue toute sa vie alors que chez son ancêtre sauvage le Loup, ces comportements sont exclusifs aux tout-petits. Mais ce n'est pas tout : Homo sapiens lui-même est probablement une espèce néoténique : nous jouons toute notre vie, et contrairement aux autres grands singes, nous conservons la tête ronde, la toute petite mâchoire et la peau glabre de notre enfance.Quel rapport avec la domestication ? Selon certains scientifiques, Homo sapiens n'aurait pas seulement domestiqué loups, sangliers et autres chats : il se serait également domestiqué lui-même, d'où sa transformation en éternel adolescent (un peu neuneu par ailleurs, car en 50 000 ans, notre espèce aurait perdu, via ce processus "d'auto-domestication", 10 % de sa masse cérébrale).Cependant, attention : néoténie n'est pas toujours synonyme de domestication. Bien au contraire.Dans ce deuxième épisode, nous nous attardons sur la plus grande star de la néoténie, endémique du lac de Xochimilco au Mexique : l'Axolotl.Ce "monstre d'eau" (c'est ce que veut dire son nom en nahuatl) est un amphibien cousin des tritons et des salamandres, qui garde très souvent une apparence de djeuns toute sa vie : vous savez, on dirait qu'ils ont une couronne de plumes autour de la tête, un peu comme les Na'vi du dernier Avatar. En réalité, cette coiffure sont ses branchies, normalement réservés aux têtards ! Mais grâce à cette conservation de leur caractères juvéniles, les Axolotl peuvent rester toute leur existence dans l'eau tout en se reproduisant. Ces animaux sont à nos yeux d'humains bizarres de par plein d'aspects, mais elles diffèrent des autres membres des Échinodermes (leur embranchement, qui comprend également les Étoiles de mer, mais aussi les Oursins, les Concombres de mer et les Crinoïdes) en brillant de par leur absence... d'anus !Mais attention, contrairement aux Méduses et autres Anémones, qui ont toujours possédé une seule voie d'entrée et de sortie digestive, les Ophiures ont perdu cet orifice au cours de l'Évolution, probablement pour un gain de place. D'ailleurs, tout comme les Vertébrés, les Échinodermes appartiennent au groupe des Deutérostomiens, en grec "ceux dont l'anus [pendant l'embryogénèse] se forme avant la bouche]...___

Ces deux noms font référence à son apparence étrange : "lancelet" vient de son aspect élancé, et "amphioxus" signifie qu'il est à peu près pareil des deux côtés. Eh oui, si cet animal marin possède bien une tête et une queue, elles sont, au premier coup d'œil, assez difficiles à distinguer l'une de l'autre : en effet, ces pseudo-poissons n'ont pas de crâne ! Ni de colonne vertébrale d'ailleurs.Les Amphioxus sont pourtant des animaux relativement proche de nous les humains. Nous appartenons en effet au même embranchement : celui des Chordés, c'est-à-dire les animaux possédant une "chorde", qui chez les "Vertébrés" (un sous-embranchement des Chordés comprenant les poissons osseux et cartilagineux + les tétrapodes) s'est développée en cette fameuse colonne vertébrale. Les Amphioxus, de leur côté, sont plutôt très semblables morphologiquement à un animal aujourd'hui disparu mais emblématique des récits de l'histoire de la vie sur Terre : Pikaia, également apparu il y a plus de 500 millions d'années, lors de "l'explosion Cambrienne". Cet évènement mérite bien son nom d' "explosion" : en effet, il s'agit de la période où la Terre a accueilli la plus grande diversité de vie de tous les temps...___

Ces espèces étant peu étudiées, seules des hypothèses pas vraiment vérifiées ont été proposées : la principale serait que ces fusées auraient troqué leur aileron (qui génère des frottements dans l'eau) pour plus d'hydrodynamisme, leur faisant atteindre des pointes à plus de 40 km/h.Les Dauphins aptères ne sont pas les seuls cétacés sans aileron. Parmi les plus célèbres, se trouvent également les Monodontidés, c'est-à-dire les Bélugas et les Narvals. Ces animaux polaires ont le dos lisse afin de pouvoir casser des trous dans la banquise pour pouvoir respirer à l'air libre. Hoppers (2026) is an animated science-fiction comedy from Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by Daniel Chong and written by Jesse Andrews, the film features voice performances from Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, and Dave Franco. The story centers on Mabel Tanaka, an animal lover whose mind is transferred into a lifelike robotic beaver so she can communicate with wildlife and stop the destruction of their habitat—accidentally sparking an animal uprising in the process. Chong began developing the project at Pixar in late 2020, with the film officially announced in August 2024 after six years of development. The score was composed by Mark Mothersbaugh, and SZA wrote and performed the end-credits song “Save the Day.” Hoppers premiered at the El Capitan Theatre on February 23, 2026, screened at the New York International Children's Film Festival on February 28, and opened in U.S. theaters on March 6. Tron: Ares (stylized as TRON: Ares) is a 2025 American science fiction action film that is the third installment in the Tron series, following Tron: Legacy (2010). Directed by Joachim Rønning, it features an ensemble cast including Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson, with Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Kevin Flynn from the previous films.Development of a sequel to Tron: Legacy began in October 2010 by franchise creator Steven Lisberger. In March 2017, Walt Disney Pictures shifted plans toward a soft reboot with Leto playing a new character. Garth Davis was set as director in August 2020 when Wigutow was working on the script, but stepped down in January 2023. Rønning replaced him a month later. Production was expected to begin in August 2023 but was delayed by the 2023 Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Filming ultimately began in January 2024 in Vancouver and wrapped in May. By August, industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails was announced to be composing the score. The band's members, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, served as executive producers on the film, alongside Legacy director Joseph Kosinski.Tron: Ares premiered in Los Angeles on October 6 and was released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on October 10, 2025. Tom Sawyer island opened at Magic Kingdom on May 20, 1973. 2. The Fort on the Island, Fort Langhorn, was originally called Fort Samuel Clemens, but the name was changed in 1996 in a moment of synergy with the Walt Disney Pictures film Tom & Huck. 3.  The barn on the island used to have an effect that made it seem like it was on fire.  Viewed primarily from the riverboat, this effect was ended in 2005. 4. In August 2024, Disney announced that Tom Sawyer Island would be closing to make way for a new Frontierland expansion themed to the Pixar movie Cars. 5.
