It's a big game at Turf Moor this weekend down at the bottom of the Premier League as winless Burnley welcome pointless Norwich City. Burnley will be looking at this fixture as the perfect chance to kick start their campaign after another poor start in the league, but in fairness to the visitors they could have similar ambitions. To get the lowdown on the opposition TurfCast's Joe Redmond is joined by Joe from Canary Cast - who it's fair to say isn't feeling optimistic ahead of this one.

Burnley fell victim to a Gareth Bale masterclass at the weekend as Spurs found it all too easy to expose Burnley's weaknesses in midfield. It doesn't get any easier for the Clarets as they welcome Leicester City to Turf Moor next before Arsenal travel to the Turf at the weekend. As usual Joe Redmond and Simon Townley dissect all things that are Burnley FC as the lads look back at the Spurs defeat, look ahead to the game against Leicester, as well as discussing Lewis Richardson, Neil Hart, and more.

It kind of feels like we're calling all the Burnley games big games, which can sound a little silly so early in the season, but I'm sure nobody would disagree that this one is definitely a must-win with the fixtures are coming up.But that's what a poor start like Burnley's does. It's the typical kind of game where the fans will say 'well if you want to stay up you've got to be beating teams like Palace at home', but Palace go into this game full of confidence and 8th in the Premier League so it's going to be a tough one.As usual, Joe Redmond is joined by Simon Townley to take a look at all things Burnley FC, ahead of the Palace game.
Burnley are still looking for their first win of the season after the result against Brighton, but at least we can take some positives out of the solid defensive performance the Clarets put in to shut out the Seagulls. Offensively though there's a lot to be desired for Sean Dyche's men - with Wood and Barnes both having a poor start to the season, and Burnley once again creating absolutely nothing going forward - a lot of fans have begun asking for the front two to be changed. As usual, in this weeks podcast - Joe Redmond is joined by Simon Townley to take a look at all things Burnley FC
'Shambolic', 'Cheap, 'Horrendous'. Just some of the words flying around to describe Burnley's transfer window.Let's be fair, it's hard to disagree. Although amazingly, some people do disagree, but that's a different debate.Just Will Norris, a back up goalkeeper, and Dale Stephens have come in to the side, despite several first team members leaving at the start of the summer when their contracts expire. That, coupled with a terrible start to the Premier League which has seen Burnley lose three games out of three, and there's not much to be positive about right now as a Claret. But, as they do every week, Joe Redmond and PANELIST Simon Townley get together to go over and debate everything happening in the world of Burnley FC.
We're not going to bullshit you guys – there isn't too much to talk about at the moment. But when has that stopped the TurfCast lads? We managed to get a podcast out every single week during lockdown, and we've managed to do it again now. Joe Redmond is joined by panelist Simon Townley to discuss some of the news surrounding the club this week as the typical end of season stories have begun cropping up. Expect plenty of waffle though...
Even when this Burnley side look beaten, they're not. They somehow snatch a draw, even when even the biggest of fan has resigned themselves to a defeat!Against Liverpool, we went one down against the Champions of the PLANET, but came back to snatch a draw. Against Wolves, we were one down thanks to a worldy from Jimenez, only for Wood to snatch a late late draw by smashing a penalty straight into the top bin.Joe Redmond and Simon Townley return to take a look back at the last few games since the last podcast, which includes a win at West Ham, and two impressive draw against Liverpool and Wolves.
There's so much football on at the moment it's nearly impossible to keep up, it's even harder to keep churning podcasts out in time for the games but we never let you guys down! This week, Joe Redmond is joined by panelist Simon Townley to look back at the draw against Sheffield United before welcoming West Ham fan and host of Pitch Sport's podcast 'PitchCast', Paul Schofield on to the show to look ahead to the game against West Ham.
First of all guys apologies that the podcast is a little late this week, but those of you following us on social media fully understand. But it's now time to look ahead to this weekends clash against Sheffield United at the Turf, and joining host Joe Redmond on the podcast this week is Lancs Live journalist Alex James that covers Burnley FC for the Lancashire-based website.Enjoy!

After the boys ganged up on Carlton last week with a two-pronged attack, they've decided to it again so joining the former England International is both Darren Harper and Joe Redmond. With the World Cup in full swing it's all eyes on Russia as we near the end of the first round of group games, with the host nation due to play their second game tonight (at the time of writing/recording). England left it late, but they got the win against Tunisia thanks to a last-gasp Harry Kane header. Relief. So the boys pick Carlton's brain on the World Cup so far, and England's win which despite the three points has left the nation split, but the boys are left wondering how people can still feel negative?
