Ulrika är författare och inspiratör med en fil. Kand. i Socialt arbete. Hon har ett djupt engagemang för människor i utanförskap och främst de som lever i hemlöshet. Den 5 november 2025 släppte hon sin debutbok James – En dokumentär berättelse om hemlöshet, drogmissbruk och osannolik vänskap. I boken skildrar Ulrika hur hon ensam räddare livet på hemlöse James. En främmande, gravt heroinmissbrukande och allvarligt sjuk man. Under två år tillbringar hon all sin vakna tid tillsammans med honom, varav det första halvåret uteslutande på Londons gator. Det är verkligen en oerhört gripande berättelse som är svår att ta in och får en att reflektera över hur man själv hade agerat? Ebûbekr-i Beyhakî, Şuab-ül İmân kitabında, Ebûbekir Sıddîk (r.a.)'in Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'den bildirdiği Hadîs-i Şerîfte: “Şa'ban ayının on beşinci gecesi, Allâhü Te‘âlâ'nın râhmeti dünyâ göğüne iner. Herkesi afveder. Ancak, kalbinde haksız yere müslümanlara düşmanlık olanı ve Allâhü Te‘âlâ'ya ortak koşanı mağfiret etmez” buyuruldu. Ayrıca Ravdatü'l Ulemâ'da yazdığı üzere, faiz yiyen, canlı resmi, heykeli yapan ve söz taşıyıcıların da bu gecenin feyzinden mahrum kalacakları söylenmiştir. 1. Kıymetli yerleri ve kabirleri, bilhassa şehîdlerin, velîlerin kabirlerini ziyârette, Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'e uymalıdır. Nitekim Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) bu gece Bakî' kabristanına gitmiştir. 2. Ailesine, akrabalarına, diğer müslümanlara mü'min erkek ve kadınlar ve şehîdlere duâ etmek husûsunda da ona uymalıdır. Nitekim Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) öyle yapmıştır. 3. Ev halkına yumuşak, tatlılık göstererek, Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'e uymalıdır. Yâni ailesi varsa, bir yere gitmek istiyorsa, tatlılıkla onlardan ayrılmalı ve onları uzun zaman yalnız bırakmamalıdır. 4. Uzun namaz ve secde yaparak Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'e uymalıdır. 5. Bu namazda ağlama, yalvarma, yakarma, diğer namazlardakilerden daha çok olmalıdır. 6. Toprak üzerine secde etmelidir.
