Today on the podcast, we discussed Knicks-Lakers. Could be LeBron's last time playing at Madison Square Garden. Knicks improved their win streak to six. AJ Dybantsa or Peterson. NBA Draft Talk and more.Dybantsa or Peterson plus NBA draft talk (2:32).Knicks-Lakers/ Nuggets-Thunder (17:01).
Evan starts by waving the white flag on winter, then quickly pivots into a debate that takes over the segment: why are Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks tickets at Madison Square Garden suddenly the hottest regular-season get in years? Is it the “last chance” to see LeBron James in the Garden, is it actually about Luka Dončić, or is it just pure MSG hype? The crew argues about whether LeBron even has a real Garden legacy, why Barclays does not command the same prices, and how much of this is New York chasing a moment they do not want to miss. Along the way, callers weigh in on the iconic player plus iconic venue theory, and Evan admits he once paid big to see LeBron and barely remembers the details now, making the whole “last chance” logic even funnier. Then the segment takes a sharp turn into classic New York chaos when a caller tries to pitch a blockbuster New York Mets and New York Yankees trade involving Juan Soto, and Evan shuts it down fast, with plenty of jokes and disbelief before the show rolls on.
It is a packed sports and pop culture run as the Brooklyn Nets hit the road, the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, and New York Islanders all take the ice, and New York Knicks host the Los Angeles Lakers at MSG in what might be the hottest ticket in years. Then the conversation veers into WWE madness with the Royal Rumble airing at a very strange Saturday afternoon time from Saudi Arabia. Viewing habits get debated, streaming platforms get questioned, and bold predictions are made, including a surprise pick involving Braun Breaker, plus talk of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Sami Zayn. And just when things cannot get any more unhinged, the weekly fan favorite returns as “Idiots With Idioms” delivers an all time long, chaotic recap of verbal slip ups across the station. Sports, wrestling, nostalgia, and total nonsense all wrapped into one very busy segment.
The Big Dogs are back and ready to hand out some early hardware as we've officially reached the midway point of the 2025-26 NBA season. Matt & Jordan give their early picks for MVP, Rookie of the Year, and other NBA Awards.Discussions also include a check-in with the Warriors after losing Jimmy Butler for the remainder of the season, as well as pushing the panic button on the Knicks, Lakers, & Timberwolves.

Later, Nick reflects on his 2017 pre-draft interview with Patrick Mahomes when Mahomes perfectly predicted his future. What has been most impressive about his run with the Chiefs? The Stephen A. Smith and LeBron altercation that took place at the Knicks-Lakers game is starting to get out of hand. LeBron allegedly reprimanded Stephen A., telling him to stop “f**k**g” with his son on national television. Stephen A., however, went on "Gil's Arena," the podcast of former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, and completely blasted LeBron for approaching him the way he did. Despite dubbing himself the "straight shooter," Stephen A., who also is the face of ESPN , is cussing up a storm when ranting about what went down between the “King” and himself. Jason questions why many Democrats are presenting themselves with this ghetto persona using profanity-laced language. Not just Stephen A., but James Carville and Jasmine Crockett are also following suit. It's no surprise that Matt Barnes' contribution to this dilemma was to take to his podcast, “All the Smoke,” and talk about how for him "it's' always on site." This ghetto mentality is sweeping the nation and converting masculinity into femininity. Men are supposed to have emotional control, yet more and more people fall victim to this pandemic. Delano Squires joins the conversation to weigh in on the lack of emotional control from the Left. There has been a moral decay of culture for the last five decades, in the way we dress, act, and present ourselves. These are all symptoms of a much bigger problem. The NBA is cannibalizing itself! Selfish greed has consumed the hearts of many, creating a chain reaction that has turned the league into the laughingstock of the professional sports world. On today's special episode of "Fearless," Jason takes a deep dive into the fall of the NBA. Jordan loyalists like Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith have built multimillion-dollar media careers criticizing LeBron James — yet LeBron is supposed to take the fall for the NBA's decline in relevance? At the same time, many misguided pundits blame the downfall of the NBA on truth-tellers like Charles Barkley and the rest of "Inside the NBA," claiming that the TNT crew is too hard on this generation of players. Barkley, on the other hand, blames ESPN for pushing a narrative that panders to the NBA's soft stance on load management and player empowerment. The league is a hot mess. There's an epidemic of finger-pointing as Adam Silver flounders, searching for a life raft to save this sinking ship. Steve Kim joins the show to weigh in on the current state of the NBA. How will the league survive, and can it ever return to its former glory? Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith, who has built his career on the backs of pro athletes, has reached an agreement with ESPN on a five-year contract worth over $100 million. In the wake of this extension, LeBron James was seen confronting Smith courtside at the Knicks-Lakers game on Thursday night. Could the animosity between the media and players be reaching a breaking point? Switching over to the NFL, sack leader Trey Hendrickson has been approved by the Cincinnati Bengals to seek a trade. Maxx Crosby's massive contract could have something to do with Hendrickson's desire for an extension of his own. Wrapping up the show, everyone's favorite, Shemeka Michelle, discusses white women wearing braids and Rep. Jasmine Crockett's revealing transformation — from articulate enunciator to the Capitol Hill Crypt she is today. A thought-provoking episode of "Fearless" starts now! This should be an epic Super Bowl. Imagine if Brock Purdy gets hurt and Sam Darnold becomes the Super Bowl MVP? Boomer will interview Brock Purdy for the Super Bowl pregame show. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of last night's Knicks win, their ninth straight. Knicks/Lakers at MSG is a hot ticket right now. Jim Harbaugh met the media and talked about lessons he learned from Ted Lasso. Harbaugh said he won't be home until his staff is, ‘locked, cocked and ready to rock'. The Moment of The Day involves Tom Brady taking Greg Olsen's job and Chris Carlin being able to relate. In the final segment of the week, Gio is going to have anxiety about this Vegas trip until Boomer is safely at his Wednesday night dinner after golf.
Hour 1 Boomer is back from Vegas and he holds up the line flying back to Newark. He had 3 carry-on bags and was told only 2. The guy sitting next to him had 3 bags so Boomer wasn't sure if he should have said something. He knew he was being bad mouthed in line behind him as he was holding up the line. The Knicks won their ninth game in a row behind a tremendous game by Jalen Brunson. He is right there in the running for MVP. Boomer said it felt like old school 90's Knicks last night. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of last night's Knicks win. After the game, Brunson was getting emotional as he heard the MVP chants. The Knicks have won 15-of-17. Jim Harbaugh met the media and he said he's going to bring it. He's also going to live in his RV until the Chargers new facility is complete. The Seahawks introduced their new head coach Mike Macdonald. Boomer loves the hire. In the final segment of the hour, Al wondered why Donte Divencenzo isn't being celebrated like Tommy DeVito. Gio has an explanation. Hour 2 Canada is still mad at Boomer for his comments in 2021 after Chris Streveler threw a pick and Boomer said it wasn't the Grey Cup or the CFL and you can't throw into coverage like that. Streveler has just rejoined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. We also talked about Tom Brady replacing Greg Olsen. You can't blame Brady for that. Somebody at FOX made that call. Jerry returns for an update, but first we talked to Fudge Browne about how she got her nickname. She works with James Brown. Jerry started with the Knicks winning their ninth straight game. Gio shows Jerry some of the celebrities at the Knicks game to see if he knows who they are. In the final segment of the hour, are we still doing the Drew Barrymore show in Vegas? Hour 3 We talked about our upcoming trip to Vegas and what the traffic situation is going to be like getting around during Super Bowl week. We are taping a spot on the Drew Barrymore Show, but we're also golfing and traffic can be an issue. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks winning their ninth straight behind 40 points by Jalen Brunson. Jerry has audio of Evan Roberts vs Shaun Morash in pickleball. Evan plays in socks, no sneakers. Gio said they didn't even play by the pickleball rules. Jim Harbaugh met the media and said their goal is multiple championships. In the final segment of the hour, CBS will be debuting the ‘doink cam' for the Super Bowl. We talked about Patrick Mahomes and how guys like him and Michael Jordan turn it up an extra notch when people are doubting them. And with the Chiefs being underdogs again, he will have a chip on his shoulder. Hour 4 This should be an epic Super Bowl. We apologize in advance for Rory's behavior throughout this episode. We start by supporting the union of Nicki and Ice Spice, but also predict how long it'll last. This past Sunday, Rory, Mal, and Julian went to the Apollo to see Lil Wayne. Rather quickly we learned that Mal really isn't a Wayne fan (argument ensues). In other disappointing concert news, Frank Ocean left everyone at Coachella upset after many technical problems and turning his set into karaoke. Speaking of karaoke, is it hip-hop for Usher to give 21 Savage a mic to sing? Even worse, is it hip-hop for Rory to DM Drake laughing emojis and never get a response? Friendships tend to come to a close which is also the case for Ja Rule and Billy McFarland. Did you hear about the woman that claimed to have hooked up with 6 guys a day for a week? This leads into a conversation about the double standard between men and women and of course high school bleachers get involved.
