In this wildly unpredictable episode, James and Pepe tackle everything from creative roadblocks to the bizarre world of cube-shaped poop. James reflects on the emotional walls he's built up over time, and Pepe—armed with his quirky wisdom—offers up unconventional solutions. From ice-pick metaphors to wombat-inspired architecture, the conversation takes a delightfully strange turn. Listen as they explore how wombats stack cubes of poop to mark their territory, sparking a tangent on using cubic poop as eco-friendly building materials. What if people pooped cubes too? Could it solve the world's ecological crisis? And could we breed dogs to do the same? Yes, it's just that kind of episode. The randomness continues with discussions about the world's largest penis, a woman freezing her eggs due to lack of good men, and a man mauled by a gang of otters. Plus, Pepe throws in weird facts about immortal jellyfish and eerie singing glaciers, giving James some serious food for thought... and possible existential dread. Highlights: Cube-shaped Poop Cities: Could wombat poop revolutionize architecture? The Wall Around Creativity: Is James too intense for his audience, or just keeping his wild side in check? Invisible Turtles and Word Salad: What happens when random absurdity is introduced into the podcast? Immortal Jellyfish: Could humanity benefit from a jellyfish-style reset button? Otter Attacks: What happens when the cutest creatures on Earth turn into bloodthirsty gangs? Random Facts from Pepe: Wombats poop in cubes! There's a jellyfish that's basically immortal! Otters may seem cute, but they can gang up like a bunch of thugs! Listener's Challenge: Would you prefer to poop in cubes or have the ability to reset your body like a jellyfish? JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM for this week's podcast drops at First, let's remember how the March 10 Pisces New Moon called us to develop compassion—for both ourselves & others. Then the April 8 Aries New Moon solar eclipse, which conjoined wounded healer Chiron, asked us to speak out about past & present wounds so that we may heal them going forward. The April 23 Scorpio Full Moon square to Pluto in Aquarius illustrated that social reform is necessary to accomplish both of these goals, as this square—along with Pluto's May 2 station retrograde--represented groups fighting for future change & equality for all. Whether domestically in state legislatures or on college campuses where students call for international equality, this reality has become pretty obvious, wouldn't you say?And when Venus squared Pluto April 30/May 1 issues around sex & money hit the collective in rapid fire, including: Russia raising its citizens taxes to fund its war on Ukraine, the repeal & enactment of abortion laws in several U.S. states, & an ongoing election fraud trial in NYC centered on paying off a porn star to keep quiet about a sexual liaison to win a presidential election. We also had the news—just as Mercury stationed direct in Aries on April 25—that New York's highest court threw out Harvey Weinstein's 2020 rape conviction because it found the trial judge unfairly allowed testimony against Weinstein based on allegations that weren't part of the case. (Don't worry, he's still in prison based on the rape conviction in his Los Angeles trial.)This makes the message of the May 7 Taurus New Moon--which sextiled Saturn in Pisces—even more important with regard to showing greater respect for feminine divine energies & cycles. Especially as convicted sexual abuser former president Donald Trump continues to stand trial in New York for covering up a sex scandal with a porn star as part of an election fraud scheme. Quite representative of all the Venus energy juxtaposed against Mars in Aries right now in a "he said, she said" kinda way, right?Combined with the Aries True North Node's May 8 conjunction to Hygeia, the goddess asteroid of health, we're called this month to work toward improving our own & the world's health. The Sun's sextile to Saturn May 6/7 set the stage for the opportunity to succeed at a plan that Venus's May 13 sextile to Saturn can commit to for the long-term. But this will require a change in values as the Taurus Sun approaches conjunction to Uranus May 13, & a further commitment to justice as the Sun/Jupiter conjunction takes place May 18.And all of this further requires that we understand the messages sent to us already. That self-compassion leads to compassion for others, speaking out about our own & others' deep wounds leads to future healing, & that the opportunity to commit to lasting peaceful solutions that stand the test of time is what's most important as we move forward.Join us at KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT, or any of your favorite podcast stations, for more details about how the heavens reflect back to us these major messages! Namaste…

They first kick things off by discussing the social media ban for minors in their own backyard in the state of Florida. Is it a matter of parental rights? Then, they shift the conversation towards the federal level, as they discuss the potential reality of Tik Tok being banned in the United States--is the ban an issue of the first amendment? Recurring giving is a big topic these days, particularly among our higher education partners. Everyone's watching the massive increase in subscription services, and particularly how young alumni or donors use them. Also, we're just really excited about the idea of people buying into consistent, regular giving. But most of us haven't really figured out how to give for monthly gifts real well, how to thank recurring donors, or even in some cases how to receive the gifts correctly. It's a tremendous opportunity to build a base of committed, regular donors who have bought into your cause. So when NextAfter, the great fundraising research outfit, published their recent recurrent giving study where they actually made gifts to a couple hundred charities and saw how recurrent giving was marketed, we gobbled it up. The same day it came out, I called Brady Josephson and got him on the line to talk about how to optimize the donor experience, to tell us what they heard in the study, and how he thinks in his words we can unlock the most generous generation in history. Here's our chat. Check out the full report at: https://recurringgiving.com/ And Brady's NextAfter podcast at: https://www.nextafter.com/podcast/
