We acquired this technology last year. It's unique because it allows the generation of hydrogen onsite, at an individual fueling station. Most all hydrogen fueling stations out there right now, and there are very few, the hydrogen is generated offsite and shipped in on trucks. That's a very expensive process.”

Cars and trucks powered by hydrogen, the most abundant resource in the universe, are on the road now with more planned and in production. Hydrogen power may well be the solution to truly weaning from fossil fuels, turning the tide on CO2 emissions and ushering in a new era of emission-free transportation — but only if vehicles running on the power can find fuel. Even with major automakers rolling out new hydrogen vehicles and a wealth of hydrogen in the universe, there's a serious shortage of hydrogen fueling stations. With less than 100 public hydrogen stations in the USA, hydrogen fueling stations are the missing infrastructure critical to propel and sustain hydrogen vehicle growth. Using patented next-generation technology, Clean Power Capital Corp. (CSE: MOVE) (FWB: 2K6) (OTC: MOTNF) (Profile) intends to rectify the paucity of hydrogen fueling stations and become a powerful factor as ever more hydrogen vehicles take to the road. Clean Power Capital owns 94.5% of PowerTap Hydrogen Fueling Corp., which builds, installs and supports low-cost, onsite hydrogen fueling and dispensing units. PowerTap's 2nd Generation technology has 14 installations already in place in the USA (which are not owned by PowerTap Hydrogen Fueling Corp.). The company inked a deal in January with the Andretti Group to install PowerTap's 3rd Generation modular hydrogen fueling stations starting in California this year. This is just one of many partnerships planned with major fueling networks to install hydrogen fuel technology at existing locations across the nation, and the rollout can't come too soon. Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE: TM) recently revealed it has developed and plans on selling a product this year that packages a fuel cell system into a compact module. Integrating the main components of a fuel cell makes it easily adaptable for rapid development and manufacture of a variety fuel cell products. Credited for creating the first commercially market for hydrogen fuel cell technology, Plug Power Inc. (NASDAQ: PLUG) is building the hydrogen economy as a leading provider of comprehensive hydrogen fuel-cell turnkey solutions. ITM Power Plc (OTC: ITMPF) manufactures integrated hydrogen energy solutions for grid balancing, energy storage and the production of renewable hydrogen for transport, renewable heat, and chemicals. And Nel ASA (OTC: NLLSF) is a global hydrogen company dedicated to delivering optimal solutions to produce, store and distribute hydrogen from renewable energy.

On April 16th, 2018, Des Linden became the first United States female to win the famed Boston Marathon in 33 years. While she admits that she often plays the role of “underdog,” this year was different. She went from “underdog” to champion in a race that brought with it epic wind, rain, and freezing temperatures. When others faded, she chiseled away and rose to the top, earning the dream victory of a professional running career that started at the Boston Marathon back in 2006. What goes into a victory like the Boston Marathon? It certainly wasn’t an easy victory. In fact, much has been reported about the fact that Des almost quit the race because she felt that it wasn't her day. But, she rode the wave and came out on top. What a lesson in life and performance! Today, she and her husband, elite Purple Patch triathlete, Ryan Linden, explore performance and relationships in this intimate conversation with Matt Dixon. This isn’t a Boston Marathon recap, but a glimpse behind the curtain of two elite athletes and how they manage their training, racing, recovery, and day-to-day responsibilities as partners in each other's success. What are the components of their successful relationship and what can others learn from their journey?  How do they overcome their own pain, adversity, and fear?  Both Ryan and Des have evolved and changed throughout their careers and they graciously open up about their personal evolutions and explore how their thoughts around coaching, collaboration, and training have matured through the years. The lessons they've learned are lessons for anyone seeking peak performance.  This is a personal conversation that feels like you're sitting with them having a cup of tea or coffee.  Speaking of coffee - Des and Ryan even talk about another passion of theirs: the debut of Linden & True Coffee earlier this year in conjunction with another pair of elite athletes, Sarah and Ben True. The Halligan and FamilyDave Halligan, THE Halligan, the Chuck Norris of EN, a giant of a man and a legend in the EN Haus after tearing the legs off of his coaches and fellow campers at our Tour of California camp! Dave has been with EN for just over year. IMLP'08 was his Ironman, where he negative split the bike AND the run using our execution guidance. More recently, since purchasing a Powertap in January, training with our Out-Season program and joining us for the Tour of California, Dave's FTP has risen from 323w to 348, an 8% increase in six weeks. More from The Halligan Rich, I hope I didn't talk too much last night.  We didn't get to the part where  you ask me how EN has benefitted me the most.  Hopefully people with be able to get that from our conversation, but in case you wanted to add something here's what I would have said: The community is what it's all about.  I'm not a social networking guy,no facebook, myspace, blog.  But EN is a different story.  It's like a private club for down to earth, regular folks who like to train and race, but are also people that work, support families, and have other interests. Then, you get to meet some of the people at camps, races, social events, and next thing you know, you have new friends to train, race, and do other fun stuff with. The shift from LSD to interval work is huge!  Not only does it spice up the workout and make it more interesting, it makes you faster.  I was skeptical at first, but was a quick convert. The EN founders.  Great guys with not a hint of mightier than thou attitude.  Completely vested in how their athletes do regardless of their level and/or experience.  Always willing to help and support.

The Springfield Tri Club presents Ironman Dan Dungan. In this special episode Dan briefly talks about power training on the bike. He discusses the different equipment needed to measure power from the SRM meter to the PowerTap. Power is much more than just watts. Power allows you to measure your output and analyze your watts with your heartrate, speed and conditions. Stick around for the next 20 minutes and learn how power can help you.
