In this episode of the Unresolved Life podcast, titled "The Beauty of Daily Conversations with God," host Teresa Blaes welcomes guest Valarie Rocha, the author of "Kneeling at the Throne." The episode focuses on the topic of prayer, exploring its significance and how it can enhance the relationship between individuals and God. Teresa begins the episode by introducing the theme of prayer, mentioning that it is often done casually or by rote, and invites Valarie to share her insights. Valarie explains that praying is essential because it connects people with God and emphasizes that everyone is encouraged to pray in the scriptures. The conversation shifts to discussing the importance of individual prayers. Valarie explains that prayer is an invitation to communicate with God, similar to conversing with a natural parent. She shares her personal journey with prayer, revealing her early passion for it and the calling she received to be an intercessor—a deeper form of prayer. Valarie recounts how she initially resisted the idea of being an intercessor but later realized that such a role would allow her to connect with God's heart. She highlights that prayer is not an extravagant or complicated practice; instead, it is an everyday conversation that strengthens one's relationship with God. Teresa then asks Valarie about hindrances that keep people away from praying. Valarie identifies common misconceptions, such as the feeling that God is distant or that certain topics are too sensitive to bring up in prayer. She reassures listeners that there are no topics off-limits with God and emphasizes His desire for intimacy and connection. The discussion moves toward the Lord's Prayer, with Valarie explaining how it provides a framework for approaching God with reverence, gratitude, and requests for guidance. She underscores the significance of respecting God's place and recognizing the importance of connecting with Him through prayer. As the conversation continues, Valarie discusses her favorite subject from her devotional, which frames God as the architect of our lives, constantly planning and designing our paths, and encourages believers to seek Him in prayer. She notes that building a relationship with God is about taking the time to engage in conversation with Him. The episode concludes with Valarie addressing listeners who may not know God or understand why they should pray. She urges them to take a step of faith, invite God into their hearts, and begin a relationship with Him, emphasizing that God welcomes everyone, regardless of their past. Teresa encourages listeners to spend time talking to God, assuring them that He can handle any situation they face. Valarie shares information about her online presence, where listeners can find more of her work. Teresa closes the episode by reiterating the importance of daily conversations with God, thanking Valarie for her insights, and reminding everyone that God is always there for them. In this episode, I discuss how to face fear. Please listen and share. Transcription Announcer 0:01 Tired of asking why? Welcome to the unresolved life podcast where we are answering life's most difficult questions. Now, here's your host Teresa Blaes. Teresa Blaes 0:13 Hi, I'm Teresa, Blaes. And this is the unresolved life podcast. Last week, we discussed should we fear the coronavirus. The basic summation of that was no, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. But I want to take that a step further. And by the way, we had a really good interview with Sondra Allyson, she's certainly no stranger to the show. If you haven't yet go back and listen to that episode. It was it was a really good time of fellowship, encouragement. And, yeah, so and you know, if you find if you know someone that needs that, please share it. That's it. Let's move on. One of the biggest things that I've had to battle over this past week, you know, dealing with some of the things that I do, because I follow media and I follow the news and I do a lot of stuff for the work that I do, not only for the show, but for the other show that I do and for the news site, and so on and so forth. The question is, what should your response be? Obviously, we're not supposed to fear. But one of the biggest things that I've started to do is on talking to people, and gauging where they're at, some of them are going, what do I do, I don't know how to prepare, and we gave some tips on that. Make sure you have enough food for about a month. Make sure you have enough toilet paper, make sure you have cleaning supplies, masks, so on and so forth. There's other things you can do. But one of the biggest things that you can do is take a stand spiritually, in the name of Yeshua, Jesus, no pestilence will come near my dwelling, rebuke first, ask questions later. The fact is everything political, and I would even take it a step further. Everything first has a spiritual root. Okay? Yes, we have to act in wisdom, right? Everything has a spiritual root. Okay, so what do you do with that? If you know that the enemy is gonna attack you with fear? If you know that this thing has a potential to be a real problem, which it does, then obviously you take your measures, but you fight first with the Word of God. No pestilence will come near my dwelling. You stand on the promises that God has given you, that he will uphold you with His righteous right hand that his arm is not too short to save. That he will be your rear guard. Look at the promises of God and cling to them like they are you your very life because they very well might be. rebuke the enemy. Do not let him have place. If you have, let him have place, repent of it. And if you don't know Christ as your Savior, now would be a good time to get to know him. Because I guarantee you, this thing is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. But I know that also, my God is bigger than any virus than any pestilence than any disease. So we'll be ready for it. Some will not. Make sure you're ready. God forbid you actually catch this thing. God forbid, the ultimate happens to you and you pass away. Make sure you're ready to face him. Because you don't want to face him, not having allowed his blood to cover your sin. Because the Bible says we are all sinners, that all have fallen short or the glory of God there is none right? Just not even one. It also says that Yeshua Jesus paid the penalty for And all across. He rose again and he's coming back. But will He find faith in the earth? I pray so I'm asking you if you do not know him, now's a good time to get it remedied. rebuke the enemy. Don't let him have place in your life. Cling to God cry out to Him. Because Yeshua warned of these days he said these things would happen. And guess what? They're happening. Are you ready? I pray you are. One of the best ways by the way to get ready is to make sure you have clean water,

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” –Christopher Reeve We all have something that challenges us and can hold us back. These are visible challenges for some; others may not realize they have anything holding them back. When looking at business ownership, according to the U.S. Census Bureau there is a trend of people with disabilities being nearly twice as likely to be self-employed as the general population, 14.7 percent compared to 8 percent. But that doesn’t mean that if we have something some call a disability, we will be unable to be successful in business. In fact, for many we have not only learned to live with our differences but have learned to be more able to think outside the box and be better at business ownership because we have learned to deal with things differently than our counterparts. Today, we talk with Teresa Blaes. She shares some great tools and strategies that can be used by anyone but are especially beneficial to those who have some form of disability. Take a listen and see if these make sense for you to use too! In this episode, I discuss how to choose the right business model for you. Please listen and share. Transcript Announcer 0:10 Whether you want to start a faith based business or an online ministry, you've come to the right place. This is the Teresa Blaes show with your host, Teresa Blaes, where she's bringing her over 20 years of consulting experience to the mic. Now, here's Teresa. Teresa Blaes 0:32 Hi, I'm Teresa Blaes. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show. Today we are talking about how to choose the right business model for you. In the past few episodes, we've actually gone over quite a number of business models from affiliate marketing to coaching to selling products in many ways, shapes or forms. And so today, I want to kind of hammer out what's the right business model for you? This is actually a very good question. I think in order to answer that, you have to ask yourself a couple of questions. The first one that comes to mind is this. What are you passionate about? What drives you? What absolutely lights you up? I mean, you can't help but talk back. Are you a health nut? I mean, does does does helping people learn how to get healthy kind of drive you? You really want to have a have a have a say in that? Do you have a passion for coaching? Okay, there are so many business models, so many ways to do things. If you are not so much a people person, but you're you really like to share about products that you love. What about trying affiliate marketing, if you really want to play with e commerce? Well, there's plenty of you can do that. You can do the arbitrage thing, like I've talked about. You can drop ship, you can private label some products, if you're really into health. There's different ways you could do that you could get involved in a supplement line that you really believe in. I, for example, I'm really big into making sure that people have quality drinking water. And so I represent a water filtration system I sell actively. As far as one of my passions. I'm passionate about helping ministry leaders get into podcasting. You know, which, by the way, if that's you, if you are really interested in starting your own podcast, send me an email, Teresa at Teresa Blaes calm. And let's see how we can work together. It's just a matter of figuring out what are you most interested in? And there's really no wrong answer. Except if you don't even try. If you just say I don't know. And I'm not going to look. Yeah, is the wrong answer. But I get to fill in if you're listening to this podcast, you're not one of those types. You're not wanting to make excuses. You just want to know the right move. Well, the right move is however God created you and you need to find that out. Figure out what you're passionate about. Figure out what you think the best business model would be for you. This is the Teresa Blaes show with your host, Teresa Blaes, where she's bringing her over 20 years of consulting experience to the mic. Now, here's Teresa. Teresa Blaes 0:32 Hi, I'm Teresa Blaes. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show, we are wrapping up our discussion of the different business models you can take. And trust me by no means have I scratched the surface of different types of business model, I'm only talking about the ones that I have personally engaged in and receive revenue from. But we're wrapping up with an oldie but a goodie. And it's one that I actually did a series I did a series on, we're talking about multi level marketing. Now this is very similar to affiliate marketing, believe it or not, very similar. You buy in for the rights to promote a product. That's essentially what you're doing. For example, my husband has been an associate with a multi level company for a very long time. I'm not going to tell you which one he's been associated for, because it doesn't matter. Okay. But you know what, every once in a while, we get a nice little check from them. its owner box, we you know, what, tell you some, you know, if we want to do we can ramp it up. But every year, we get a little nice little check. And it's it's it's it's a recurring revenue stream, I sell water filtration systems through a multi level company. And guess what? I get nice little checks that way. You know, again, as with the affiliate marketing, I've seen it done wrong, and I've seen it done right. It really comes down to knowing how best you operate. And, you know, moving within that framework, and I'm going to actually talk about some ways. Maybe I'm going to do a series. Yeah, I think I'm going to do a series coming up on how to promote other people's products. Whether it be an MLM, and affiliate, it doesn't matter. I'm not talking about how best to do that. And what I'm actually working on and what I'm in the process of doing. So. But multi level marketing, if not done in the old fashioned, drawn out, garbage way it can be done. And you know what, you can make a good chunk of money from that. In any case, I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. Let's go do this thing. In this episode, I discuss the concepts of upper limits, and how destructive it can be to your business. Teresa Blaes 0:35 Hi, I'm Teresa Blaes. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes. Show. Today, we are talking about something that I believe holds every person back to a certain degree. And I'm no exception, we just finished wrapping up a series on the different types of business models you can start, however, every single one has one huge, glaring flaw, every single one of them. And that's you. Here's what I mean. Every single one of us has a comfort level, when it comes to earning revenue that we are comfortable in, um, this is I've actually heard this talked about in a couple of different places. And it's called the upper limit. And what this is, is basically, you are only willing to allow yourself to earn as much revenue as you are comfortable with. You may say, yeah, hey, I want to raise, but then you like, I guess there was a study that was done, where people who maybe they've been in poverty, they will if they get a job, they will only allow themselves to get a job that will pay them up to 10% more than what they're used to. This is known as the upper limit. And every single one of us has an upper limit, including myself. Every single one of us has a area that we are like, I'm not sure I'm ready to charge that much. I'm not sure I'm ready to step out and do this I and it's a fear around money. And the best way I am finding to break that upper limit is one, confess it because it's it's it's got a spirit of fear attached. And the Bible is very clear that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind to acknowledge where it comes from. Maybe you were raised with it. I've talked about this in the past, you know how the Rich Dad Poor Dad mentality. I've talked about, you know how my mom had a poor dad mentality, okay, acknowledge where you came from, but then decide that you're not going to stay there. Okay? You want to push that upper limit a little further out, just to where you get really uncomfortable and say, You know what, I'm going to go all in on that, and I'm going to stay uncomfortable. I'm going to do things that will stretch me just a little bit more than I'm used to. That's at least what I'm finding, you know, when I realized, Hey, everybody has this including result. This is what I'm finding this working. And I'm going to hit that place again. And I'm going to have to stretch myself again. And that's okay. I guess the biggest thing, if you've never launched a company before you never stretched out and you said you know what, I'm going to do some freelance work. I'm going to get into a multi level company. I'm going to start doing some affiliate stuff. Maybe I'll do some coaching. You know, I'll do some eBay from Amazon. Whatever you want to do. Whatever you decide to do. Choose to do that. Choose to stretch yourself, because you never know where that will take you. I'm Theresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show. Today we are talking about a tried but true method. In fact, this is a method that a lot of people when they get into the online space, they cut their teeth on talking about affiliate marketing or a method where you can go in find other products to promote, and you promote them on your own platforms, your own sites, your podcast, your own whatever. And they cut you a commission. I'll be honest, I love this method. This is a fun method for me. Why? Because there are so many affiliate programs in so many places. If you're a mommy blogger, man, you wouldn't believe the kind of stuff you can find. I have stuff where I'm an affiliate for Click Funnels, which by the way, if you go to Teresa Blaes, calm forward slash CF, you can get a free trial of that. And it's just really, really cool. See, yeah, that's an affiliate link. If you happen to buy that through right link, I get a small paycheck. Not a bad deal, right. Okay. I've seen affiliate done wrong. And I've seen it done right. Maybe what I'll do is I'll do some episodes on what what what's been done wrong, what's been done, right and what you need to do, you know, but this is a series on a different type of business models you can engage in, learn to be honest, affiliate marketing is a nice supplement a way to earn some extra income. It's wonderful, especially if you can find something that has recurring revenue, because all you have to do is refer that person to the link once or get them to buy once. And they like whatever the product is, and they buy over and over and over again. Yeah, that's kind of a nice deal. I kind of like getting Nia random checks every once in a while. So needless to say, yeah, affiliate marketing. Go for it. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. Let's go do this thing. Announcer 2:46 You've been listening to the Teresa Blaes show. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show. Today we are talking about a method of generating revenue, you know, to fund whatever venture you're doing. I have used this many, many times in the business when I ran our local marketing company, with my husband, and I'm talking about freelancing. freelancing is basically I can do something for you, a an activity, create graphics, record voiceovers link build, you know, that kind of thing. For a certain amount of money on trading, you know, I'm putting hours on my time and for money doing a task, I would, I would say that it is one of the quickest ways to earn a bit of income. But it can also be time sucking. And in some cases, to be honest, soul-sucking. And what I mean by that is, you know, you are it is this close to working a j o b as you will ever get because you have to you are accountable to these clients that you are working for. And it's hours of time, and it's depending on what you're doing now. You can of course scale it, you can create an agency, there's ways to really level that up, you know, but it has to be something that you enjoy doing. It really does. And it has to be something that you can niche down and say I'm really good at this. And yeah, I mean, freelancing is a nice way. If you really want to go that route to earn some extra revenue. I've done it. I won't say I enjoy it. I we've kind of gotten out of the space necessarily. It's the other way you could describe it is a done for you service. Like you know, we don't do website design. We just don't not for clients anymore. That's just not our place. It's not what we enjoy. It's just not our thing. That said, there is really good money in website design if you know what you're doing. So, yeah, freelancing, good way to earn some revenue. You could take that revenue and pour it into something else, or you could scale it into its own thing and really make a business out of it. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes show. We are continuing our series on the different types of business models that you can get involved in. And today we are talking about eBay and Amazon. As you know, eBay. eBay has a special place in my heart. Why? Because it's where I first cut my teeth in entrepreneurship. It's where I got introduced to the idea that you can do something, sell something and make money to get kind of give a brief overview. I talked about this early on when I first started this podcast because it was so crucial to my development as an entrepreneur. I talked about this, the fact that Mike had given me a sort of Ginsu knives, and I ended up selling them and making money and realizing, you mean, I can write something and people buy, I kind of like doing that, you know, because I wrote this ad, not knowing a lick of marketing, not knowing what I was doing. But I started getting creative with my ad copy and it worked. And it was just really cool. And I was kind of ruined for anything else. After that, you know, I didn't want a job. I wanted to be an entrepreneur. That said, this was not the only encounter I had with eBay and Amazon. I remember when he sends me into this dollar store and he says, I want you to find stuff that'll sell. What am I supposed to look for that I'll sell? I didn't know. But I gave it my best shot, I brought a bunch of junk home, to my knowledge, not a single one of its own. But you know what? I understood what he was doing, he was getting me into the idea of look for things that will sell, bring them home, and let's put them up and see what happens. I've had some wins, and I've had some losses. Most recently was the water guns that we got ahold of, we got our holder like 20 water guns, and we were trying to sell them on Amazon, but we didn't do our due diligence. And we ended up losing our shirt on the deal. But it's okay. Right. You know, as I said, you win some you lose some going back to this arbitrage method where you go in to like local store, you go into clearinghouses, or you go into like, you know, clearance sections of Walmart or Target or you walk into pawn shops and you find stuff, okay, that they're trying to get rid of you, you download a little app on your phone, on Amazon, and you look up that thing, whatever you're looking at. And you see if it also you buy it, yes, that means putting out actual real dollars and you buy it, you take it home, and you put it up on Amazon or eBay. Whichever model you're going to use. You know what, that's a nice way to make some extra cash. If you're trying to fund something. Maybe you're trying to fund a venture that you're working on, maybe you're trying to fund your ministry. That's a nice way to get a little bit extra cash. Okay, we've done it multiple times. I'm still in the game. I have a couple of friends and I'm working with right now that I am actually selling for on Amazon. I'm working on private labeling some stuff to sell on Amazon, and to sell other places. I will be back to tell you how those ventures go. But I just wanted to kind of open that up as an viable business model. Yes, you could do it. I loved it. It's what I cut my teeth on and it's what I still go back to from time to time when I get that itch to do it. I'm going to go back and I'm going to say what is really driven me all this time. No risk get no biscuit. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. Let's go do this thing.

Gary Vee suggests that you should create 100 pieces of content a day. Now obviously, he's got a very big team, or and I hear that and I go, right. I have no idea how would even begin to try something like that. deer in the headlights look much. Okay. I've heard people that say you need to at least show up weekly, and then participate in other formats. supplementing your content. I'm not really sure necessarily how much content one needs to create daily or weekly. I know that I'm testing some different things. For example, the end result life podcast goes out once a week, but then I have other writers supplementing additional content. Is that working? We're still waiting to find out. I'm still working on that. The Teresa Blaes show the episode that you were listening to. I release a piece of content at least five days a week. Sometimes I release a blog post and a podcast. I also participate in groups. It's just a matter of testing and finding out what's going on work in your niche. So should you take the advice of Gary and release 100 pieces of content a day, if that's what your market requires. But for right now, I would just ask yourself, How much can you handle producing? And how hard Are you willing to work to produce it? Also, how much content does your audience need? Are you immensely popular? No. Yes. If yes, then I would possibly consider giving them more. You know, let them consume as much of your content as possible. If no, then perhaps a weekly show, or weekly piece of content might be the only thing you need. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show. Today we are talking about social media and its impact on your speech, on your message. Now, I was listening to a Gary Vee show now I haven't really finished this particular episode. He was doing a keynote thing with Tyra Banks. Okay. And they got into a very interesting discussion. And the idea was, can a single tweet, ruin someone's life? In that context, they dealt with maybe someone puts out something controversial, and someone else is confronted about it. And Gary Vee, and Tyra were on opposite sides of the issue. Now, I'm not going to get into all that. Have you want to go find that? You can. But I want to propose this, you know, as you are a minister of the gospel, or maybe you run a faith based business, so maybe you've chosen to take a stand for your values and your beliefs. Can taking a stand and social media, ruin your life, your reputation, your marketing, your livelihood? I would say that, in a way, yes. Because let's face it, I've talked about in the past that social media is not your friend, okay? They have algorithms that where they are deliberately trying to take down conservatives that they don't like, okay, they have rules that you can so easily violate, and suddenly you find yourself banned, or you are demonetized. So basically, you can't make money on your videos anymore. using certain networks. I mean, you know, that this is the environment in which we are operating. So can social media ruin, ruin you as a whole? If you let it only define you? If you do not take measures to be able to still have an audience off of the platform? Then I would say, Yes, it can. If you do not take those measures, so you don't build an asset. You don't build an email list. You don't create a community off of that platform. If you don't take those steps. And all of a sudden, someone doesn't like what you you're doing. Someone doesn't like the content you're putting out, and neither does the network. What do you think's going to happen? Are they going to listen to your protests? Nope. You're one of the ones that is trying to build something for the glory of God. Do you honestly think they care what you think? they don't. So I would strongly suggest, yes, use those platforms for as long as you want to, but do not use them and rely on them. Have a plan B or Plan C. Have ways to contact your people off of these platforms. Do not let them define your sole means of communication. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. Let's go do this thing. Teresa Blaes 0:32 Hi, I'm Tricia, please and welcome to the Teresa Blaes Show. Today we are talking about something that I have actually run into very often. To explain, let me kind of set the backdrop. Mike and I were one time we were in a cab, I think we were coming home. And we were talking to the cab driver about being entrepreneurial. It's a topic that comes up for us fairly often. And his whole philosophy was, I hope this will happen, or I hope that will happen. But he wasn't willing to take the steps to actually make those things happen. Like I would you know, I asked him, Well, why isn't and he could give an answer. I've seen it especially when you're talking about people wanting to market their own company or their own venture. I call that hope based marketing, because you're not really willing to put something in the game to really be of benefit. Okay? if all you're doing is relying, well, I hope this happens. But you're not willing to do something to actually make it happen, then you frankly deserve to lose, you deserve to have that thing. go south and you because you're not willing to put the work in. I'm not saying you're going to. And I'm not saying I want you to know. I mean, even the Bible says it you reap what you sow. And if you're not willing to do what you need to do, to follow up with actions, the very thing that you say you want to accomplish, because you're relying on hope, based techniques, that's not a good place to be hope based marketing is not even marketing, hope based anything is not a good lifestyle to fall into except for the fact when you fall or when you find that you have received Christ. You can rely on the hope that is now within you. That's a different situation. Okay, why? Because it's not about you. It's about what he did. You know, but again, that's a different situation. That's not what I'm talking about here. I'm talking about this. If you actually really truly want something to happen, then you're going to have to step out and make some things happen even if it makes you uncomfortable. In this episode, I discuss why you should always be selling. Please listen and share. Transcript Teresa Blaes 0:32 Hi, I'm Teresa Blaes. And welcome to the Teresa Blaes show. And today we're talking about something that everybody should do, but not everybody does. In the Bible, it says that we're to always have an answer for the hope that lies within us if you're a believer, if you're a Christian, right, in that case, it's no matter what season in season out of season, no matter what you were supposed to have an answer for the hope that you have. Now, how does that apply in New York, foreigners face? Always be selling? The fact is, whether you are actively asking for money for something or not, you're selling, you're trying to get someone to buy into your idea. Okay, so how does that work? Well, Lee, last episode, we talked about your minimum viable product? Well, what happens when you actually release that, and let's say you get some feedback, and people like what you're doing, you're still having to reinforce that idea. Okay. So what you do is you set up a campaign, you set up a funnel, you set up something that you can start following up with them, reinforcing, emailing them, you create content around that idea, was the end goal, to always be selling, always be evangelizing your idea, your product, your thing, whatever that thing happens to be. You're just trying to get people on board with what you're doing. And a lot of people when they hear selling the head, oh, you're trying to ask for money? Not necessarily. A lot of times what you're trying to do is get people to support a cause a brand, a message of ministry. So always be selling. And if you want a biblical context for that, check out in the Bible, I believe it's in first or second, Peter Bry says, always give a reason for the hope that you have. Now in that context, and we admittedly, he's talking about the hope that we have in Christ, but I believe the data can be applied here. So tell me what you think. Do you agree? Do you agree that once you release a minimally viable product, that you should now start crafting content around that product? Do you disagree? Do you think maybe I'll miss applying that idea? I want to know. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa play show. Let's go do this thing.
In this episode, I discuss the concept of Minimal Viable Product. We explain what it s and why you should implement it when launching a new business. Please listen and share Transcript Teresa Blaes 0:26 I'm Teresa Blaes. And this is the Teresa Blaes. Show. Today, we are talking about your MVP, minimally viable product. A lot of people that I've seen, will literally, hey, I have to have everything planned out, I got to figure things out, I got to know what I would do. And in this believe, me, I'm working on this because I've got all one of the things in the works that I'm working on. But I would release a bare-bones minimally viable product, I would then see how that is received. If it is received, I would upgrade the product. This can be done both in ministry and in business, because you never know how someone is going to receive the message now, in the ministry side of it, you're not so much doing it, you're not trying to impress people, okay, if God has given you a message, you need to first and foremost deliver what he has given you. And not everything that you deliver is going to be well received. Teresa Blaes 1:43 Nor should it be. Teresa Blaes 1:45 That said, Teresa Blaes 1:48 if you find that people are receiving it and they want more, then you have effectively released a minimally viable product. And you can double down on that and give them more. It's the same thing in business, you want to figure out, Okay, what is the one thing that I can give them that they can pay a minimal price for a small price for test and see if it's well-received into the market. And if it's well-received, I can then double down on that and give them more. That's the concept of a minimally viable product. I really hope you take advantage of this. I might actually go into another episode, what that would look like some examples of how you might do that. Until then. I'm Teresa Blaes. This has been the Teresa Blaes show. Let's go do this thing.
In this episode, I feature a new show segment “Healing Conversations with Twoana”. Twoana is the “Founder of Abundant Living Legacy Life Care” in Overland Park, Kansas and is the new Altered Stories Ministry Board Secretary. She is a highly sought-after public speaker who has ministered, presented and trained for many areas and national churches. She also appears weekly on multiple broadcast streams via her talk show, “Talk About IT with Twoana” where she raises awareness to the stigma and plight of mental health. Twoana discusses with former show guest, Teresa Blaes, her experience with her Mom’s Opioid addiction and the struggles she endured as a result with God’s help, which resulted in her starting the Unresolved Life podcast show. Twoana also shares her Godly perspective on overcoming Opioid addiction and how family members can support family members who are entrapped in addiction. She also shares uplifting God words of hope that addicts can truly be set free from the chains of addiction through Jesus Christ and the support of spirit-filled Christian therapy counseling. Enjoy listening to this hope-filled show and please share your valued feedback!
What happens when everything goes wrong? Let’s face the journey of being an entrepreneur is not without its moments of grief, and problems. If you have been in business and or ministry for any length of time, you know that there will come a point when you get smacked in the face. Believe me, I speak from a heck of a lot of experience in this area. So what do you do when this happens, how do you recover? Here are some of the tips I have found to work in my life, and I have learned from others. First when you are faced with an ugly and stressful situation, recognize what is happening. Not so much practically, but how are you responding to it? Next acknowledge what is going on, and then take time to deal with that emotion. Once the emotion is out of the way, ask yourself what is the next step in the situation, what is the next step to move forward. If it is a people problem, confront the person respectfully if it is a marketing problem, figure out if it is an issue with the advert, the headline, your copy, or the offer. Basically, once the emotion and the stress is removed, then you can take practical steps to get past the situation and deal with the problem you are having. Finally, remember why you are doing what you are doing. You chose to walk the path of the ministry, you chose to become an entrepreneur for a reason, and the enemy knows this as much as anyone. I have said it before, I will say it again, If this is God approved, it will be enemy apposed. We are in a war, and business, and ministry are not off limits to the traps and skeams of our enemy. I hope this is helpful and encouraging. To your success, Teresa Blaes
