Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! I'm diving deep into a topic that holds the key to personal growth and inner peace: acceptance. Picture this: life's throwing curveballs, and we're all desperately seeking that magic fix. But what if the real secret lies not in doing but in being? I shared stories that hit home, like Michael J. Fox's perspective on acceptance, and the profound Serenity Prayer that guides us through accepting what we can't change. But here's the kicker: acceptance isn't about passivity. It's about acknowledging reality, even the messy bits, and then deciding how to respond. I get it; it's tough. We all wrestle with situations we wish were different. I've been there too, whether it was facing financial crises or dealing with unexpected turns on my journey to motherhood. But guess what? These challenges were pieces of a puzzle, shaping my path in ways I couldn't fathom back then. And in this episode, I extend a challenge to you, my incredible listeners: a 24-hour radical acceptance challenge. Tip 1: Accept Every Situation, Every Emotion, Every Circumstance. Feel the resistance melt away as you embrace what is, appreciating the present moment for what it is – imperfectly perfect. Tip 2: Exercise Your Acceptance Muscle. It's not about resigning to fate; it's about gaining the wisdom to navigate life's twists with grace and resilience. Just like a muscle, your capacity for acceptance strengthens with practice. And yes, it's okay if your acceptance muscle feels weak right now. We're in this together, learning, growing, and evolving. Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat for a free guide on transforming limiting beliefs. Remember, you're powerful, and together, we're on this transformative journey. Stay awesome!

This episode might seem simple, but remember -- just because something is simple doesn't mean it's easy. If creating new habits and being consistent with them were easy, we'd be smashing goals left and right. The truth is, it's a heck of a lot easier to create 'bad' habits than the good ones and that's why in today's episode I'm sharing a few tips on how to make staying consistent as you build habits, easier. It's a quickie, but a good one if you are in the midst of building new habits and have had trouble staying consistent. As mentioned in the episode, I am taking on a couple of 1:1 clients and would love to work with you IF you want to prioritize your health and wellbeing, perhaps reverse burnout, while you work on pursuing your goals. There is no way you won't feel a spark of motivation from our guest after listening to this episode. Sensi Graves popped into our inbox with the coolest story and combination of careers, from being a professional kiteboarder to starting her own swimwear brand and finally now being a motivational speaker. She said something that struck us to our core in her podcast application — “I didn't feel proud of myself.” I wanted to shout through my computer and say, “How!? Look at all the amazing things you've done!” And then I paused for a second and thought I might be doing this to myself. Look at all the things that we've done as CEO's and working moms. Chances are you feel this too. And it's time to make a change. I cannot wait for you to listen to this episode with Sensi, and I hope you walk away a few steps lighter feeling like the amazing human you are! The best is when the lessons from the top pro players are things that can help us in our games and also things that are achievable by us - not matter our level. I had the opportunity to speak with two of the two senior pros in pickleball at the recent APP tournament in Hilton Head, SC. Scott Crandal and Jose Derisi had come back to win the gold medal in the men's senior pro division the day before. I asked each of them, separately, for their perspective. I asked Scott how he approached pickleball. His answer: fundamentals - that word that makes players run away. I asked Jose for one piece of advice he had for new players. He said that players should not try to win the rally in one shot. Instead, work the rally and wait for your opportunity. In the riff, we talk about framing the game with gratitude from the start. It is an extension of your personal brand and it's important to invest some time in creating a great LinkedIn account. I would love to connect with you on LinkedIn: @SharingPassionand Purpose and my personal account is @nancy-moore-tulsa.

You know emailing your list is important, but you hate the idea of impersonal mass emails. Or you're just not sure how to get started. You're not alone. So many business owners and podcasters simply don't use email because they feel really stuck. On this episode, email pro Bev Feldman is sharing her framework for making email marketing feel a lot easier. Email shouldn't be about trying to sell…sell…sell…It's about engaging with your audience and driving traffic to your pillar content so they can get the most value possible. And yes, also selling a bit. But the main focus is about nurturing. Bev will share how to do exactly that! Chances are, you're missing the two big links in your content and marketing strategy. Sure, you're publishing content regularly. You might be emailing your audience at least semi consistently. And this is great for nurturing the people who are already following you. But are you leveraging other people's audiences so you can put together the pieces of minimum viable content marketing? I'm going to take a wild guess and say no, you're not. The most common complaint I hear from podcasters is that they're struggling to grow their audience. Their email list isn't growing. And their social media isn't getting any interaction. It's no wonder, because they're doing little to grow any of these. This week on the podcast, I'm again sharing why leveraging other people's audiences is key to the success of your content marketing. And I'm also sharing a bit on how to put all these pieces together. Social media is a great tool to promote your podcast…but it's not the end-all, and it's definitely not something that you can rely on to grow your podcast or business. But it's still important. This week on the podcast, I'm sharing why social media can't be the end-all of your marketing strategy and what you can do to make your own time on social media more effective. This episode is a really great reminder of getting your head in the right place when it comes to social because that's not the place to solicit for sales. But your audience still expects you to show up there. Are you creating pillar content for your business? Pillar content is the main content you're creating for your audience. This is often where people start with their content creation and planning, but I intentionally put this topic smack in the middle of the series on minimum viable content marketing because I didn't want you to forget about the other pieces. Be sure to go back and listen to those episodes if you haven't already (they're linked below). But, of course, pillar content is where you get to nurture your followers and demonstrate your expertise. And hopefully, for you podcasters, it's where you get to talk to other professionals in your arena so you can support your listeners. So what is pillar content, why does it matter, and how do you know what to publish on your pillar platform? Listen in this week, especially if you're feeling like you need some motivation to get back to consistency. Want to make sure your engaged audience listens in to your podcast? Not everyone is as connected to their go-to podcast app as you are and they might need a little nudge. Or a reminder. The trick? Email them! Send a nurturing email to your audience every time a podcast episode goes live (or every time you publish a blog post or YouTube video, if one of those is your pillar platform of choice). A nurturing email is the best tool to connect with your audience right where they are, in their inbox. But figuring out what to say and how to fit in another piece of content to your already packed schedule might feel challenging for you. That's what this episode is all about. It's episode four of the Minimum Viable Content Marketing series. Tune in now and I'll share the when, what, and how of creating nurturing emails for your subscribers!
