Every year around this time, without fail, the summer body messaging is in full-force. The "last chance to lose 10 pounds before beach season" ads, paired with the implication that you have to earn the right to be seen in a swimsuit. It is the same story in different packaging, and it has been going on since your grandmother was worried about her waist size. Amanda, Kelsey, and Sabrina talk about where that messaging actually comes from, why it sticks, and why hitting the number you have been chasing is almost never the thing that makes you feel better. They get into the negative feedback loop, the self-talk red flags, anchoring bias, why nobody at the end of a vacation remembers what anyone looked like in a bikini, and why BIN stopped running summer challenges. You are allowed to have goals. This episode is just about making sure the story driving those goals is actually yours.

And never is our unappreciation of our bodies as great as it is during the summer. Can we say that we love our body... and mean it? Hey Highness Queens
So should you diet for summer or just embrace where you're at? We're diving into the nuance of feeling better in your own skin and how you can show up with respect for yourself this summer
In this episode, I explore three ways to develop a master mindset with body image, when approaching the summer and warmer weather. I talk about reframing thoughts, avoiding body bashing behaviours (eg: weighing, mirror checking, scrutinising old photos and social media) and living a bigger life.

It's okay to want a summer body.In this episode, Dr. Stacy Heimburger breaks down the shame and hesitation many women feel around body goals — especially this time of year. If you've ever caught yourself whispering, “I know this sounds vain, but…” this conversation is for you. This is not about crash dieting, overtraining, or punishing your body. It's about understanding the difference between self-hatred and self-direction — and why acceptance and ambition can coexist. You'll learn:Why it's healthy to have a body goal (and why it's not shallow)The physiology of how your body actually responds to change (hint: not to shame)How to define your version of a “summer body” — strong, leaner, more toned, more confident, more disciplined, more energized — on your termsThe difference between punishment-driven goals and identity-driven goalsHow to commit without restriction, extremes, or starting overWhy waiting for “perfect timing” keeps you stuckDr. Stacy explains how to build a summer body through small, repeated inputs — strength training, protein, consistency, sleep, and thought alignment — instead of quick fixes. If you're ready for structured support, accountability, and tactical coaching to help you follow through, join the Lifestyle Support Membership:

Joe Holder is a performance coach, Nike Master Trainer, and wellness strategist who works with elite athletes, artists, and brands at the intersection of fitness, mindset, and longevity. If you want real results by summer, this episode lays out exactly how to use the next 12 weeks to build strength, improve conditioning, lose fat effectively, and create a body that looks and performs better. We break down how to get into solid general shape in the first 4–6 weeks, then transition into smarter “toning” phases that focus on muscle balance, symmetry, and definition. Joe explains the difference between building vs. toning muscle (and why most people get this wrong), plus what most people miss when structuring a workout plan that actually delivers visible change. You'll learn how to use the three types of cardio strategically, including when cardio helps recovery instead of hurting progress, and how to apply progressive overload, de-load phases, and supercompensation so your body keeps adapting. We also get tactical with carb cycling, sustainable fat loss, training with PCOS and how to monitor short-term progress so you build real intuition about what's working.Joe shares the key difference between rigid routines and flexible frameworks, what elite athletes and celebrities do differently, and how to stay consistent long enough to see real momentum. If you're ready to treat the next 3 months like a focused training camp and walk into summer feeling strong, lean, and dialed, this episode is your blueprint. This episode is brought to you by:Save 15% off my favorite Red Light Mask from BON CHARGE by using code BLONDE at www.boncharge.com.For a limited time, Prolon is offering 15% off sitewide plus a $40 bonus gift when you subscribe to their 5-Day program! Because when you begin from stability, clarity, and structure, the entire process changes. You can have the right information and still feel stuck trying to figure out what to do with it. When fat loss feels urgent, you've likely waited too long. This series exists to help you stop treating your body like a last-minute project and start running it like a long-term system—so you can look and feel your best by summer without crash dieting or burning out. Summers are a time when families spend time together, but it is also when pressure to look a certain way intensifies. ‘Summer body' expectations if not managed wisely, can affect individuals, strain partners and family relationships, and quietly shape self-worth, especially for children and teenagers. In this conversation, mental health expert Neha Kapoor explains how these pressures impact wellbeing and offers guidance on protecting confidence and emotional health.
Summer is around the corner. The hot weather, the BBQs, swimsuits, pool parties...And if that brings up a wave of pressure — to shrink, restrict, or “get your body back” before the season hits — you are so not alone. This time of year can feel like one giant spotlight on your body. The clothes get smaller, the diet noise gets louder, and suddenly you're hyper-aware of every lump, bump, and bite. But this isn't really about swimsuits or shorts. It's about the beliefs running under the surface — the ones that say you have to shrink yourself to be worthy, lovable, or "ready" for summer. In this episode, I'm breaking down why summer can send you into a food-and-body spiral… and what to do instead. We're getting into the subconscious patterns, emotional triggers, and cultural noise that make it feel so hard — and how to shift out of it with actual self-trust.Let's talk about how you can enjoy your summer without obsession, restriction, or body shame weighing you down - shall we?✨ Grab your spot for my free workshop: How To Stop Feeling Obsessed With Food to start healing today!
For years, I thought I had to push myself to fit into this “summer body” ideal, sweating it out through restrictive diets and unrealistic fitness goals, only to feel like I was falling short. I kept repeating the cycle—working hard, but not seeing lasting results. I thought the key to being happy in my body was to lose weight fast and look a certain way for an event or season. But the truth? It was all a big, exhausting loop that left me feeling drained and disconnected from my true health goals. In today's episode, I'm talking about breaking free from the “bikini body” myth and the pressure to constantly shrink your body for the sake of appearance. I share my own experiences of being stuck in the weight-loss obsession, and how I learned to focus on what really matters— the real, long-term changes that create true strength, energy, and confidence—no matter the season. This episode is for anyone who's tired of the endless cycle of dieting and unrealistic body standards.
