In 2017 Ardern became the youngest Prime Minister in the world at the time, and only the second ever to have a baby whilst in office. She was praised for her humane approach and leadership through crises such as the 2019 Christchurch terrorist attack that saw 51 killed. She swiftly brought in gun laws and reached out to the Muslim community targeted in the attack.In her 5 years in politics she was a champion of climate change and LGBGTQ and indigenous rights, but she was also criticised for some of the harsh lockdown measures that her government enacted during the pandemic.Since leaving politics, Jacinda Ardern has been engaging in global work focused on empathy in leadership, combatting climate change and the prevention of online extremism.She's written books, including one about being a working mother, and she now stars in a documentary about her life entitled simply, Prime Minister. He has also worked to simplify the computational complexity of support vector machines, and which involved using a least-squares approach for learning-based classifiers. He has also enhanced the theory behind singular-value decomposition by extending it to multilinear dimensions, which has addressed complex data-mining challenges. Joos is also an IEEE Life Fellow and served as the President of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium KVAB. He also co-wrote the book defining "The Invisible Power of Mathematics".

Jens is a Chief Scientist at Nexus, and works in many areas of cryptography including in pairing-based cryptography and Zero-knowledge Proofs (ZKPs). He was previously a Professor of Cryptology at University College, London, and as the Director of Research at DFINITY. In 2016, he published a classic paper of "On the size of pairing-based non-interactive arguments", and which defines a Zero Knowledge Proof based on pairing-based cryptography. This is now known as Groth16, and is used in many applications, including with Zcash and Tornado Cash. Sir Keir Starmer has said there is "more to do" on Donald Trump's peace plan for Ukraine, after meetings with other world leaders at the G20 in Johannesburg. The Prime Minister and other allies have raised concerns about proposals to make Kyiv limit its armed forces, give up territory, and abandon its path to NATO membership. Mr Trump has said he expects a Ukrainian response to the proposals - which were drawn up after secret negotiations with Moscow - by Thursday. US, Ukrainian and European security officials are to meet to discuss the plans in Switzerland tomorrow.

At a summit in Egypt on Monday, President Trump and world leaders signed the first phase of a ceasefire agreement aimed at bringing to an end the brutal two-year war between Israel and Hamas.
