Melissa Lucio mother of 14 will be executed on April 27th 2022 by the State of Texas if Governor Gregg Abbott or the D.A. of Cameron County don't stop the Execution. Only the President & these 2 men can stop her death sentence. Film Maker & investigative journalist Sabrina Van Tassel is interviewed in this episode and explains the last few years of her investigative research into Melissa Lucio's case. Sabrina's documentary is now on Hulu & Amazon. Melissa didn't have a fair trial in Cameron County Texas. “The State of Texas vs. Melissa” which was selected for Tribeca in 2020 and it has won a flurry of accolades, including Raindance's best documentary award. What do you think about the documentary? Do they give a fx*ck about Chicanos? A prosecutor in Melissa's case immediately went to work for the District Attorney's office after he helped lock her up.... did they work in Cahoots selling out to the "GOOD OLE BOY SYSTEM " that bribes and pitts the state and corruption against the people. Do Judges get paid for favors to get to the top? Some of these conspirators included a sitting judge that was getting paid to lock up Raza and making it common practice without representation of our interests in this case. Is Texas a cesspool of corruption or is Red State "Conservatism" simply a swamp Bordering Racism. After prosecuting Melissa's case for they state the D.A.'s office crowned Villalobos the new District Attorney (WOW)!!!!! What a surprise.... After working as the new D.A. for the State he gets arrested and thrown in prison for serious criminal activities leading to an indictment & charges... the D.A. Villalobos got seven counts of extortion, three counts of honest services fraud, one count of violating federal anti-racketeering laws, and one count of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act including for 13 years along with other members of the court including a couple of judges. And Lucio still sits in solitary confinement awaiting the death penalty. This is obviously foul to not explore the foul play that was involved in the procedures of Melissa Lucio's case. Melissa's case was eventually reversed on appeal and the state of Texas immediately overturned the reversal of the appeal and sentenced her to death within 90 days to silence a devastated, traumatized Lucio family. As a Texan I am saddened by the court system if it does not serve the interest of our people. Does the state fear all the media attention this case is starting to garner? And if so does that mean that you can play a role in making noise 4 Chicano Justice. Currently the Supreme Court is choosing to lay deaf & ignore the procedural corruption involved in this case. Is the State of Texas really convinced Melissa is a murderer after all of this? Carrying out the death penalty after all this and a weak conviction that was overturned by a three-judge panel of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, which found that the trial court violated her right to present a complete defense by barring the testimony of two witnesses, prosecutors successfully appealed, convincing the same court to reinstate Lucio's conviction in 2021. In January, the state set an execution date of April 27. They don't give a F*XK about us. Texas is murdering Gente and have been doing this since the Texas Rangers began hanging innocent Mexican-American citizens over 100 years ago. Is it Inevitable that we are affected by the Prison Industrial Complex one way or another? Directly or Indirectly these Institutions touch our Communities in a way that ultimately destroys. Shouldn't Recidivism and Education be a bigger concern? Either we go unscathed or we become collateral damage in this vision or design called the “American Dream”. Or is this really a prejudiced Euro-Paradigm engineered as a crutch to ascend white privilege and power within society and class? We didn't just recently become a threat, We have always been a threat to the colonizer and because of this Racist guilt Politicians have always planted the idea & prejudice that “Our people are taking over the country" we see this time and time again because it has always been normalized to be racist against “Gente”. We have not been offered land. History has only evicted us from our homes throughout the entire Western Hemisphere. The hands of colonialism and the American Empire does not care about us and we are kidding ourselves if we continue to believe otherwise. Why do they think we don't belong? Where do we belong? Whose Ancestors are connected to the lands? Is this why some call for the Wall? Is this why some call for Aztlan? Do we believe the empty promises from the Devils running the "White" House? Isn't this the same Government that has always handed us empty promises? Are we part of society or do we need our own Chicano Homeland, University or body of Governance? Any past attempt non-white people have made at solving our own problems with vision and leadership has resulted in murder for U.S. This inequity and damage is simply a question to think about when we see a huge faction of our youth being destroyed in this Prison System... trapped in a vicious cycle that embodies the view of society deeming it necessary to keep us locked down deep inside the Belly of the Beast or U.S. Imperialism... how many more of our people need to live this parasitic life cycle as prisoners to sell the “American Dream” to the masses? Is it seeing the glass half empty or is it the reality that reflects the Irony of whom this country was built for and whom it was built to contain? A mere reflection of history is what me and special guest: Daniel Arvizu discuss in this episode of Prison and how it affects our families and communities. Any thoughts? Reading a poem from Matt Sedillo helped me realize we are indeed the same. A verse in one of his poems read.... "Like me and you... We are made of Stars!" Poetry is Powerful and Beautiful at the same time. I believe Matt brings excitement in rare form. Promoting Chicano Art and Gente should be a Core Value of all Chicanos let alone one of the few Platforms we have as Chicanos. Hosting Guest speakers like Mr. Sedillo is currently our direction moving forward as an ongoing concern. We are the same however many times our journey as Chicanos is different and difficult to express because it does not seem that many of us Represent. When do we start telling our story? How do we express our lives in art? Are we experiencing life differently? These views are powerful and life changing to say the least and this Chicano perspective or vantage point is Liberating in its own unique way. Is Art subjective, Are we different or are we all the same? Our essence or identity in being Chicano resonates and to me is important. Knowing "WE" too like others "EXIST" in this Life we call "Our Experience". Matt is not just a Poet... he is Chicano like you and me and as an artist he is extremely articulate in the form of Political Slam Poetry rather Chicano Poetry. Support Chicano Business by looking up Matt's publisher Flowersong Press in Mcallen, Texas or buy his new book "Mowing Leaves of Grass" and explore this piece of "Revolutionary Composition". Matt mentions his literary Style or 3 act poem, impressions growing up, and connections to those in Academia whom he has influenced to teach his book in College curriculums or Chicano Studies. In this episode we talk about life, poetry, capturing an audience with Drama and insight that inspire. Matt has been on CSPAN. The LA Times & L.A. Taco have reviewed his work. He is definitely a person to have on our Radar. In our interview Matt reads a few poems. Here is a link to a YouTube performance you might like but make sure you listen to the podcast 1st... Are Chicanos Revolutionary? Are Chicanos Radical? Some ask... What happened to Chicanos? What happened to the activism of El Movimiento? Why have we taken a step back? Chicanos have advocated for social and political empowerment of Los Pueblos aqui in El Southwest Estados Unidos for a National Voice & Identity throughout the 20th century, but what about now? It's about to be that time again.... Power structures such as Capitalism have been taking advantage of Chicanos for way too long. Capitalism is the toolbox of White Supremacy. Hegemony within the U.S. society Indoctrinates and re-educates our youth in a way that maintains power over our minds. How do they Cripple Chicano values? How do they cripple family? They don't... We do it to ourselves! We believe Neo-liberalism and Cash is God. We bite the apple and drink the poison of Humanity. Money is the material root of all evil. Definitively without question BY and LARGE Capitalism destabilizes our momentum as people within society as a whole because it sucks the lifeblood from the masses to insatiate a few at the top. The U.S. metrics are simple to see within the scope of inequality, poverty, homelessness, imprisoned, welfare recipients and many other have nots. Many Chicanos come from strong families and its evident the media's attack on our children cannot be denied through propaganda or by the prison Industrial complex. Inhibiting our movement and our future leaders from ever gaining full potential is how they deny us progress on our own homelands. We have long been educated to be slaves in a system that traps our world view @birth. Systematic controls such as the Police, Cointelpro, CIA, FBI, DEA and any other federal agencies deployed are weapons against us perpetuating and fueling violence against Chicanos anytime we organize for change.... such as the murder of Ruben Salazar & many other movements such as the Black Panthers or Malcolm X & Martin Luther King. These murder plots are all in the interest of Capitalism and its need to be led by a White Power Structure. Re-organizing our intellectual intelligence in various National Chicano Parties throughout Anahuac is essential. Exploring & rewriting our destiny starts by talking about organizing a revolution not only for our future but also creating a system that cannot be broken no matter who they kill or lock up (Red Dragon Rising). This conversation is not only about the way we walk, but it's also about the way we talk, think, live, eat, act and assemble. Resonating and recognizing our roots as people of the land with Indigenous bloodlines descending from all 1st nations making Turtle Island Sovereign again. We stand in solidarity with all brothers and sisters that stand against White power. Sovereignty on occupied land makes everything political. As Chicanos we reside in the Belly of the Beast rather inside the U.S. system of land occupation. CHOCAST is proud to bring you a collaboration with the Chicano Podcast, Pelon aka Steve Garcia and two guest speakers: IGNACIO DE LA SOL y Comrade GIRU to discuss Idealogies, Nationalism and party politics within the framework of our current systems and Revolutionary thinking within the scope of Socialism and Communism. We will also be discussing the current disparities created by Capitalism and how its material conditions relate to our struggle. Does disconnecting from the Colonial Empire release trauma for the Indigenous? Can we harness or source power and liberation by moving back to a time when Raza's path was the Red Road? What happened to our application of love and desire to serve? What happened to Living selfless within Integrity? We will go over concepts from Marx and his practitioners. We will visit Dialectical materialism & how being complicit paralyzes our Liberation. If Capitalism isn't freedom for everyone how can it be freedom at all? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Victor Mariachi is representing Chicano Hip-Hop 4 Raza str8 out of Atlanta. Our interview was interesting... gives an outside view on what drives a Rap Artist in present day society through a Chicano paradigm. Attempting to fill a void in the Hip-Hop Community is a strong means of expression for Chicanos. His talent & perserverence I believe is part of his character that transcends Chicano Identity. Our conversation was firme porque this young Vato keeps it real and understands the impact of his message. He might surprise you with his powerful delivery or content as a Lyricist. His personal style is a studied array of some of the greatest influencers to have pioneered Hip-Hop. He along with only a few others carry the Crux of Hip-Hop's Chicano Legacy for the next generation so check out the interview for more details. We need more talented individuals to master the art form since so many of us are listening. It is our obligation 2 support fellow Chicanos when they represent our values and place in the culture of Hip-Hop. Only within this reciprocity should we expect to influence this Music Genre. In return we could own part of the Hip-Hop Industry especially as more artist personify our message as our equity stake. Don't just take my word for it.... Check him out on Spotify or Youtube under "Victor Mariachi"! We definitely need more motivated individuals to express a place for Chicanos in Hip-Hop and he's better than most of the Chicano Rappers out in the game right now. Is Capitalism a hierchy of Exploitation? Is Imperialism hiding itself as a government model called Capitalism? Is this pyramid of wealth a criminal monopoly or ponzi scheme of investors using the government or legal system as protection? Do we realize Marx criticized this system and warned the world of its destruction by the hands of a few? Where will be in the next 5 years? Is the next 12 months critical? Are we complicit in allowing the Government too much power or do we need to March in the Millions like our brothers and Sisters did in the "MILLION MAN MARCH" in 1995 or is the plot to take that particular right away from the people like George Orwell's depiction of the state or so called Big Brother in his book "1984"? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

Ball games have been played in Mesoamerica since the earliest of times. The most popular of these ball games was called tlachtli or pok-to-pok. Archaeologists have discovered thousand year old figurines of ball players wearing knee pads, gloves, and other equipment known to be used in tlachtli ball games. The oldest ball courts are found in the Mexican state of Chiapas and are believed to have been constructed sometime around 700-550 BC. It is believed that prior to this date the courts were simply rectangular open areas. Over time the styles and sizes of the courts changed. Sometime around 0-200 AD ball courts were constructed in the shape of the Roman Numeral I. The rules of the game varied from region to region. In ancient times there was a ball court in almost every city. Courts have been found dating back to the height of the Mayan and Toltec civilizations. The largest ball court was constructed in the ancient Toltec capital of Tula. It is 214 meters long. The game was played with heavy latex balls from rubber trees found in Vera Cruz, Mexico. Tlachli was so popular, that Tenochtitlan imported over 16,000 rubber balls annually. In fact, it was so popular in southern Mexico, that there were over forty ball courts in the Valley of Oaxaca alone. Most of these have never been excavated so no one knows for sure exactly how old they are. All of the ball courts had high parallel walls that bordered two opposite sides. There was a ring of stone hanging from each wall. Points were scored when the ball was passed through the rings. We know from pictorial evidence that there were two teams with seven players on each side, including a captain. Players wore a short skirt, with feathered crests on the back, knee protectors, sandals, and a cap or feathers. Each teams uniform had its own individual markings. The game started when a referee through the ball out in the middle of the court. If the ball touched the ground the game was started over. The players moved the ball by bouncing it off the walls until they could take a shot at the small circular ring. Each player had a flat wooden plate in the shape of a serpent in their right hand and a wooden club in his belt. Numerous historians have researched Tlachli and concluded that it was played without the use of hands. This type of game was especially true of the ancient Aztecs, who played a version of tlachtli called olamaliztli. Olamaliztli was believed to be very similar to our modern soccer. This game was played with only the head, hips, and elbow, and the ball could not be touched by hand. Some have gone as far as calling it Mesoamerican hip ball. I agree with Professor Gualberto Zapata Alonzo when he says that without the use of the hands it would have been virtually impossible to put the ball through such a small ring at that height. However, what he fails to acknowledge is that there were many versions of tlachtli, including some that were very similar to our modern game of rugby. Professor Alonzo's point of view is supported by hard evidence. He points to the ancient carvings on the walls of the ball court in Chichen Itza as proof that hands were used. As he says, if they didn't use their hands then why did they need a club and flat wooden serpents head. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

Proto-Uto-Aztecan is the hypothetical common ancestor of the Uto-Aztecan languages. Authorities on the history of the language group have usually placed the Proto-Uto-Aztecan homeland in the border region between the United States and Mexico, namely the upland regions of Arizona and New Mexico and the adjacent areas of the Mexican states of Sonora and Chihuahua, roughly corresponding to the Sonoran Desert and the western part of the Chihuahuan Desert. It would have been spoken by Mesolithic foragers in Aridoamerica, about 5,000 years ago. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Critical race theory (CRT) is an academic movement of civil rights scholars and activists in the United States who seek to critically examine the law as it intersects with issues of race and to challenge mainstream liberal approaches to racial justice.[1] Critical race theory examines social, cultural and legal issues as they relate to race and racism.[2][3] Critical race theory originated in the mid-1970s in the writings of several American legal scholars including Derrick Bell, Alan Freeman, Kimberlé Crenshaw, Richard Delgado, Cheryl Harris, Charles R. Lawrence III, Mari Matsuda, and Patricia J. Williams.[1] It emerged as a movement by the 1980s, reworking theories of critical legal studies (CLS) with more focus on race.[4] Both critical race theory and critical legal studies are rooted in critical theory, which argues that social problems are influenced and created more by societal structures and cultural assumptions than by individual and psychological factors.[5] Critical race theory is loosely unified by two common themes: first, that white supremacy, i.e. societal or structural racism, exists and maintains power through the law;[6] and second, that transforming the relationship between law and racial power, and also achieving racial emancipation and anti-subordination more broadly, is possible.[7] Critics of critical race theory argue that it relies on social constructionism, elevates storytelling over evidence and reason, rejects the concepts of truth and merit, and opposes liberalism.[8][9][10] --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

Are we pawns? Are we playing a game we can't win? Are we being sold to the highest bidder? Will our people ever gain equity in the country playing their game? Will we ever have proper representation in Congress? Will we ever be in the Senate will we ever have an indigenous President? Will we ever have proper representation in large Businesses giving us interest in acquiring wealth or Chicano millionaires billionaires or Chicano trillionaires? If this is the land of the free or this is a free country or democracy why are there no wealthy Chicanos? Why are there no Chicano landowners why are there no Chicano industries? Why are there no Chicano unions? Why are there no Chicano resources? These are all questions we need to ask ourselves when pondering the election and what it means to our future or what it means in our ability to become free or sovereign on our own lands and by our own merit our people is our power. Everything else on our lands has been monetized without our permission, gain or prosper. Our people or human capital is our equity. Believe it or not.... this idea of human equity is greater than we could ever imagine if and only if we could, would and should recognise that we are divided, broken and without integrity because we have no unity. This episode highlights the imbalance of our necessity to unify as a whole people... our necessity to have our People protected... our necessity to unify and have pride in our integrity and protection thereof. We currently don't have safety and in this episode we touch on a few different viewpoints, narratives, agendas and prerogatives because in this election without being able to have these discussions we will never have the ability to form the sphere or circle of leadership necessary to break out of our current conundrum we live in and pass down to our children. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
The United States family is changing! America is not ready for the Chicano family. The leaders fear what comes with those changes. The structure of the Americas was never designed to include our Ancestors and this population shift is readily apparent in the political infrastructure. America's growth depends on a Chicano Future rather Latino Population comprised mostly of Mexicanos or Mexican Americans in regards to the United States. Latino used in this context takes into consideration many Mexicans, Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, Cubano, Europeans, Central and South Americans with Indigenous Ancestry and or Latino Heritage. However no one can deny the facts or the Statistical Data that collectively states Mexicans, Mexican Americans or Chicanos make up 2 out if every 3 latinos. Strange Rumblings in Aztlan "Strange Rumblings in Aztlan" is an article published in Rolling Stone #81, dated April 29, 1971, and written by Hunter S. Thompson. The article takes its title from the name Aztlán, referring to the "conquered territories" of Mexico that came under United States control after the Mexican–American War. The territory covered parts of modern-day Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California. The subject of the article is primarily the events and atmosphere surrounding the reaction of the Chicano community in Los Angeles to the killing of Rubén Salazar on August 29, 1970, the day of the historic National Chicano Moratorium march and rally against the Vietnam War. Salazar was covering the day's events as a columnist for the Los Angeles Times and news director of Los Angeles Spanish-language station KMEX-TV. After the conclusion of the march, while sipping a beer at the counter of the Silver Dollar Cafe, Salazar was hit in the head by a tear gas shell fired by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy Tom Wilson. The day's almost entirely nonviolent nature had turned suddenly violent due to the decision of police to clear Laguna Park (now renamed Ruben F. Salazar Park) of the 20,000 to 30,000 people attending a post-march rally. Though marginally involved in the nascent Chicano civil rights movement of the time, Salazar became a martyr to the community when the details surrounding his death became public. Thompson's report on the situation focuses largely on this history of the violence and repression that haunted the barrio neighborhoods of Los Angeles during this period. The article lays out a timeline of events preceding and following Salazar's death. Of primary concern is the reaction of the sheriff's department and what many saw as a cover-up for a deliberate murder. Over the course of the reporting it becomes increasingly clear that the official stories offered to explain the shooting contradict eyewitness, and eventually, previous 'official' versions of the event. The article is also of note for the appearance of Oscar Zeta Acosta, an acquaintance and "sometimes antagonist" of Thompson's at the time. It was during his reporting for the Salazar story that Thompson and Acosta took a road trip to Las Vegas in order to escape the pressure of Los Angeles and to find a place where Acosta could discuss the case openly, without fear of retaliation from either the police or Chicanos who might see him as cooperating with the Establishment. The road trip to Vegas became the basis for Thompson's book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, with Acosta serving as the inspiration for the novel's Dr. Gonzo.[1] --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

These death tolls have reached highs in new york and it is only getting worse there are body bags Freezers of body bags being taken out of the hospital daily I think hundreds of body bags are being put in huge behemoth trailers or semi truck trailers that are frozen ice boxes... just to put the ice bodies in there and there is no explanation for why we were not prepared for this the way people are feeling.... dead people are piling up at this time and it is only getting worse day-by-day and the cities in the world with huge populations are the ones more at risk looking at New York City looking at places like a Mexico City looking at Tokyo on Japan I think some countries and governments have this epidemic this pandemic under control however I feel that it is the poor countries that don't have the essential resources or necessities for the people that are going to see the real high death tolls such as Central America and South America. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Suppressing Americans is the task of the people in power.... the political corruption in our democracy is eroding the very constitutional rights that make us free and sovereign.......this particular episode takes a look at not only voter suppression but it also takes a look at the democratic nomination in detail between the race between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.. it also looks at a couple of States in particular of Indigenous Chicano and Black majority being Texas and California.... The Southwest has an evolving type of demographics that is being overlooked, unnoticed and quite frankly it is not being counted or dismissed equity weight for malevolent reasons of the establishment.... particularly the people in charge controlled by the oil cartel, healthcare industry, big pharma, wall street and other Super Donors that invest in the Lobbying of our country away to the few rich while we fight each other over crumbs leftover from the trickle of their greed.... this Oligarchy does not want the minority class to be a part of the voting system..... they don't want the Chicano population they don't want the indigenous population they don't want the black population they don't want our votes to count right now and in my opinion... it's our fault for letting them get away with it this long... the establishment is doing everything they can to make sure our votes dont count ever... they are using their influence of money and equity or their financial leverage as a weapon in the media and the coverage that is bought and paid for not only advertising but supporters coalescing around each other to block Sanders's nomination through any means necessary....the establishment in Texas and the Republican held Congress is doing everything in their possible power to suppress the Chicano vote to suppress the African American vote they have closed in the last 8 years almost 1000 polling locations in Texas while Texas has grown in the millions how does that math make sense? They have also found in the last 2 days over 7000 votes alone in Dallas County were not counted for Bernie Sanders... they say that this egregious act may or may not make a difference but still it is unethical and still it is a problem to Vote or to make every vote count for everyone.... Minority votes are being looked at differently and it is.... voter suppression! One has to ask is this being done on purpose? Of course it is.... look at California right now there are hundreds of thousands of votes on the non party ticket that were not counted in particular they were marked "NPP" no political party cards that were sent without the presidential nominee. People still have the right to vote even if you choose no NPP. If you didn't declare a party there were code words that you had to know or say as a secret at the polling location in order to even get a correct form that would allow you to vote for the candidate that you particularly wanted and if you did not say the correct word you would not get that particular card to make your vote count. They just would not give it to you and there were no instructions anywhere at the polling locations.... South Western minority blocks seem divided... candidates in these states dont resonate the same for many black, indigenous or chicano voters.... It comes down to Bernie Sanders for many chicano indigenous and poor or disenfranchised.... We realize that the establishment is plotting against the American people and it also comes down to beating Trump.... Who are you voting? A regular Democrat or a regular Republican? Are you wanting the same person that always grovels at the feet of the top 1% or the Boot licker that will pay for his campaign to get your vote no matter what the cost? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Chicanos are waking up across the Country! And we are the most significant piece of the puzzle. Believe that and we will become the integrity or the glue that act as the cohesion of all the indigenous brothers and sisters of the Americas......America has been under siege for half a millennium. Founded on Genocide and slavery. We all understand and know how we have been deprived of our sovereignty, equality and rights. But it's a brighter day and the time is now. Mark my words.... THE TIME IS NOW! Our time has come to show them our unity and it's happening. Right now we are America. We will play the game. But we need to demand Equality! Its complicated...... However we have a legal system and we have the numbers and the corrupt system needs us to hold this thing together. Without us there is no America. We have the EQUITY IN OUR NUMBERS right now and this current populist movement is a direct reflection of that. Trump was their last bet and they went all in. Now we just need to call their bluff and make them show their cards. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
What is the principle of the law? The Constitution is law, the highest law, and the President, Congress, and the Federal Judiciary are bound by its terms. ... Rule of law, then, is not rule of the law, but a doctrine concerning what the law ought to be—a set of standards, in other words, to which the laws should conform. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Killing kids in the Americas is business as usual. Killing the dreams of babies and locking children up has become a very lucrative profit making venture for the Americas exploiting our children as a commodity. Of course dehumanizing native Americans has always been an ugly past of the Americas since the Europeans arrival in the late 1400's however it is still present today and still alive and well in our capitalist economy where every thing has a price. Every human has a price in our economy for the stock market nasdaq or dow jones Industrial average selling the sovereignty of the Western Hemisphere has an impact on the people that control these markets and get paid in the contracts approved by the budget of our monetary policies. Complicity is a structure of capitalism that continues to rape, pillage, destroy, exploit, murder and infanticide children yesterday today and tomorrow. Will there ever be an end? This needs to stop and we need to do something we need to become vigilant we need to become active we need to voice our opinion every single time we have the opportunity we need to open the dialog and make people understand this is morally wrong, this is ethically wrong, this is not a value that is good anywhere in the world whether or not you are a Christian whether or not you are a Catholic whether or not you are a Muslim. No matter what religion you are everyone knows destroying children is a problem that will come back and haunt our future for centuries to come. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
Why take care of Mother Earth and the Environment? Especially if you hate her, rape her and kidnap her integrity from her and her children. Kill those koalas, cage the children, chop down those trees poison the water and every living organism within living populations in her biosphere. We all share DNA however we are being killed by our own brothers. A few subjugate the many with the disease of greed and call it something financially savvy. As they laugh at us in their rise to wealth while selling our Beautiful Mother, our future and our children while holding hands with the evil corporations and multinationals paving the GEOPOLITICS needed to cage our mother as a golden goose laying an egg for every vote or lobby deal they make in the henhouse we call Capitalism. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

ACF | HHS | Reuters It costs $775 per person per night to keep the newly separated children of families who cross the U.S. border illegally in “tent cities,” NBC News reported Wednesday, citing a Health and Human Services official. That’s more than twice as much as it would cost to keep the migrant children together with their families in certain detention centers, such as the U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement’s Texas facility, NBC reported. The per-person cost at one of those centers is $298 per night, according to an agency estimate from 2014, NBC reported. The HHS official, and several former officials, told NBC that the high costs come from the need to immediately supply the newly constructed tents with air conditioning, as well as medical workers and other employees. The official told NBC that HHS is “aggressively looking for potential sites” to build more tent cities, which have been built specifically to house migrant children along the U.S.′ southern border. HHS did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment or confirmation. The Justice Department declined to comment in response to CNBC’s request for information about the research that informed Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ April decision to issue a “zero tolerance” directive toward prosecuting migrants illegally crossing the U.S. border. More than 2,000 migrant children have been separated from their families as a result of that policy. That number is expected to grow more quickly as the government allocates more resources towards dealing with immigrants. The Trump administration plans to spend almost a billion dollars to detain and house children in the 2018 fiscal year, according to Health and Human Services data reviewed by Bloomberg. Almost half of that funding will go to a single Texas nonprofit, Bloomberg said. That nonprofit, Southwest Key Programs, will reportedly be paid $458 million in 2018. An investigation by The Center for Investigative Reporting and The Texas Tribune found that Southwest Key Programs was cited by state inspectors for more than 246 violations, including an October incident in which an employee showed up to on Texas facility while drunk. That investigation found that serious misconduct was often overlooked by the government despite allegations of mistreatment from state inspectors at a number of facilities that have since been awarded government contracts to care for immigrant children. Bernie Sanders has made a life long decision to become a life politician for life and and saying this in my episode I do believe that he is convicted for the people he is or has made a career out of politics and to be the man that is for the people no matter what color you are I believe that he even though old makes him a worth wild candidate with experience and also the history and the resume of being out there marching putting his butt on the line when it came down to it he was getting arrested and he was doing what many white people at the time would not have ever done for black people in this to me says a lot about his character in it does mean to me that he is not only passionate but honest in his convictions and his appeal is that I believe he is a genuine human being hes not in it for the money I mean look at him hes an old man hes trying to do what's right and he is trying to fight against the power that be against regular people and regular folk and this is apparent in his particular campaign I feel it I absorber I like it and I'm voting for Bernie Sanders --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message

This episode talks about the strong support of Donald J Trump and the Republican party be it conservative or right side of politics so to speak. Against the evil democrats and the liberal per se.... the mindset along with many topics, points, real statistics, facts, reasons, ideologies and more are the public's idea in making America great again some in fact say to drain the swamp or maybe the business side of capitalism is what we believe or perceive trump is and protecting the country at all cost. Support and defense in getting tough is this the real answer and brings followers together in chanting MAGA. Are we actually paying more in taxes or are we actually getting more in social benefits or is the public in better hands? These are many questions... many answers that need to be posed by the American public and whether or not you are for or against Trump right now he is our President the most powerful man in the world. The Democrats mive forward with an attempt at impeachment and this is of major importance moving into the new 2020 elections and whether or not he will be able to come out unscathed...... we will have to see. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chicano/message
