In this Episode, Chris opens up and shares his journey and how he was guided in so many ways that ultimately led him to the right people and the right location that has allowed him to have an incredible outcome, that quite honestly could of been far worse or even fatal if he hadn't trusted his intuition. It's yet another powerful example of listening to your body, not ignoring symptoms and trusting those that came to help.I particularly love that Chris is training hard for the upcoming Boston Marathon which will be 499 days after his STEMI Hear Attack.Chris Marino Contact info:IG: @chrismarino2020Chris's powerful story thats was shared on Local TV:https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=7&v=5gNlYmo6WYQ&feature=youtu.beFundraiser for ALD Research:https://because.massgeneral.org/event/bfightsald/e352160#guardianangels #thrivingnotjustsurviving #heartattack #heartattacksurvivor #heartattackprevention #awarenessiseverything #knowthesigns #knowthesymptoms #knowyourfamilyhistory #listentoyourbody #itsnotalwaystextbooksymptoms #seekhelpimmediately #call911 #breathe#listentoyourheart #listentoyourbody #theheartattackthriver #theheartthriverpodcastPodcast Disclaimer:The information and opinions presented in the Heart Attack Thriver Podcast is not intended as, and shall not be understood or construed as, medical advice. In 2018 I had decided to relocate to California to explore a new life with my new partner Adrienne whom I had met in Sedona while on my solo motorcycle trip from Canada to Costa Rica. I had brought my bicycles here because I knew from my son Bayley and all the training he and the Canadian National Cycling team did in SoCal that this place was a Mecca for Cycling. On one of my first rides, I rode up on another rider said hello and then proceeded to keep going. I soon turned right onto a side road and got an intuitive hit! “You need to stop and wait for him”. When he joined me we started talking and one thing led to another and I shared that I had had a Heart Attack to which he replied “so did I!” I call that the magic. We continued to ride together and before we parted ways we exchanged numbers and have been friends ever since.Brian has had a challenging journey post Heart Attack and I don't want to give is amazing and powerful story away!! so be sure to listen to the endBrian is an amazing photographer too, and one of his amazing photos graces the wall of our office!!Contact Brian: https://www.soulscenes.com#heartattack #heartattacksurvivor #heartattackprevention #awarenessiseverything #knowthesigns #knowthesymptoms #knowyourfamilyhistory #listentoyourbody #itsnotalwaystextbooksymptoms #seekhelpimmediately #call911 #breathe#listentoyourheart #listentoyourbody #theheartattackthriver #theheartthriverpodcastPodcast Disclaimer:The information and opinions presented in the Heart Attack Thriver Podcast is not intended as, and shall not be understood or construed as, medical advice. In this episode I'm in conversation with Aspen realtor and outdoor enthusiast Michael Latousek who suffered back to back heart attacks 12 days apart in December of 2020. The first event happened on Dec. 9th while out mountain biking with 2 friends near the Utah border. Michael survived thanks to CPR and the quick actions of his friends and the Medivac Team that arrived on scene and airlifted Michael to hospital.Doctors told Michael he arrived to the hospital with a blockage of the LAD (also known as the Widowmaker) and that they had placed 2 stents to open the blockage. Then only 12 days after being released from hospital, Michael suffered another Heart Attack while at home with his 2 daughters Lauren, 13, and Taylor, 11, while his wife Denise was out running errands. Its an incredible story and Michael declares himself the “Luckiest Man Alive” after all he and his family and friends went through.#heartattack #survivor #luckiestmanalive #backtobackheartattacks #thriver #heartattacksurvivor #realtor #outdoorsman #cpr #cprsaveslives #meanttobehere #lad #widowmaker #2stents #firstrespondersrock #medivac #colorado #aspen #grateful #thankful #recovering #mentalhealthmatters #cardiacrehab #knowthesigns #knowthesymptoms #knowyourfamilyhistory #listentoyourbody #itsalwaystalkingtoyou #theheartattackthriver #theheartattackthriverpodcastMichael's Contact Info: michael.latousek@elliman.com IG: mlatousekPodcast Disclaimer:The information and opinions presented in the Heart Attack Thriver Podcast is not intended as, and shall not be understood or construed as, medical advice. In this Episode I am in conversation with Serena Lucero IG: @serenablucero from Georgia about the heart attack she suffered on Dec. 12, 2022 at the young age of 47.Despite what her doctor advised her when she first experienced symptoms, Serena did not go to the hospital. The next day she sat up in bed and knew something wasn't right. This time she went to the hospital and doctors suspected she had already suffered 2 heart attacks as her enzyme levels were off the charts. The next day she had a stent placed and found out she had a 100% blockage of the RCA (Right Coronary Artery) and 2 smaller blockages that were 60%.Thankfully she has fully recovered and wants to share her story to help raise awareness to cardiovascular dis-ease!#heartattack #heartattacksurvivor #cardiovasculardisease #knowyourfamilyhistory #knowthesigns #knowthesymptoms #listentoyourbody #listentoyouheart #highbloodpressure #takeyourmedicationsasprescribedbyyourdoctor #advocateforyourself #cardiacrehabilitation #itwillsaveyourlife #stress #selfemployed #healingthrustorytelling #raisingawareness #itsoknottobeok #mentalhealthmatters #meditatetoreducestress #anxiety #theheartattackthriver #theheartattackthriverpodcastPodcast Disclaimer:The information and opinions presented in the Heart Attack Thriver Podcast is not intended as, and shall not be understood or construed as, medical advice.
