All his knowledge is very applicable to those who are listening to our podcast. https://www.chadmansbridge.com/ He is the author of "You CAN handle the truth". Struggle to read your Bible on a regular basis? Find some parts confusing, complicated or even contradictory? Wonder how to make sense of certain passages, or question its relevance to your day-to-day life? Rest assured, you are not alone! While Christians are often encouraged to study and obey the Scriptures—very few are taught how. You Can Handle the Truth is a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to biblical interpretation (or hermeneutics), equipping everyday believers to read and heed God's Word. www.youcanhandlethetruth.online --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/michael-chestnut5/support

Special guest Chad Mansbridge joins us today from Bayside Church in South Australia to bring a message of life and hope for those who have suffered death or division in their relationships. God knows what it is like to be the Father of a fractured family, and He has provided the solution to reconciliation through the Gospel—the power of Christ's death and resurrection life! Beginning in Ephesians 2, Chad then walks us through the meta narrative of Scripture revealing the many causes of broken relationships, before circling back to the themes of resurrection and reconciliation in Ezekiel 37. If you're thinking about becoming a COPreneur you don't always have to start a business from scratch. Today I'm chatting with Chad M. Bruckner, a fellow COPreneur who was able to fast-forward his journey from cop to business owner by purchasing an existing business. This can have many advantages, including having processes already in place and revenue flow, making it easier to work on your business and not in your business. Chad shares his story from a military career, to law enforcement, and now to owning Intercounty Investigations & Solutions, a private investigations company that specializes in pre-employment screenings and investigations. He explains how the opportunity to purchase the business came to be, and how he wrestled with his final decision to leave law enforcement for the private sector. Chad also has a deep passion to help those who struggle with mental health and works diligently to break the stigma surrounding it. Chad Orton | “Unsung heroes of the Restoration:” Wives of Early Missionaries Description “Attention has long been focused on [early] missionaries' sacrifices, but comparatively little attention has been paid to their faithful families. These supportive missionary wives and children are unsung heroes of the Restoration, who made sacrifices at home so that the gospel could go forth into the world.” Chad M. Orton, a curator with the Historic Sites division in the Church History Department, shares incredible stories about the challenges faced by many wives and children of early missionaries, and how their roles allowed for missionary work to prosper and the Church to grow. Bruckner is Managing Partner and Licensed Private Investigator at Pennsylvania-based Intercounty Investigations & Solutions — a one-stop shop for cutting-edge private investigations, background screens, law enforcement training, consultation and more. Results matter, and after accruing high-level expertise via two decades of experience in law enforcement and the military, Chad is uniquely positioned to provide private citizens, corporate entities, law firms and government agencies with the solutions they require. Detective. Undercover Officer. Background Investigator. Mobile Device Examiner. Lead Field Training Officer. Patrol Squad Leader. Chad held all those critical roles, and more, during a 13-year career in law enforcement serving a large borough in the Philadelphia suburbs. Having conducted more than 1,000 serious and often complex criminal investigations — including homicides, kidnappings, narcotics, fraud, sex crimes, and more — Chad developed and employed a razor-sharp set of skills to solve cases and elicit numerous confessions. As a detective, Chad established a trailblazing Street Crimes Unit that solved 100% of all shootings and robberies within his police department's jurisdiction during his tenure. The unit made over 250 felony drug arrests between 2012 and 2015, and was responsible for a 40% reduction in crime during that period. At the same time, Chad became a court-recognized expert in several disciplines — exceptionally valuable expertise that he now brings to his clients. Prior to his law enforcement career, Chad served eight years in the United States Army. A combat veteran, he supervised more than 300 operations in Iraq as an Infantry Squad Leader. During his military service, Chad was recognized once as Battalion NCO of the Year and in 2004 had the distinct honor of being recognized as Brigade (approx. 4,000 soldiers) NCO of the year. A certified police instructor who currently teaches a variety of courses to Police Academy cadets, Chad is also a trained volunteer with Police Crisis Intervention & Stress Management teams. One of his many missions is to serve first responders on the front lines and help reduce the stigma of mental health advocacy in first responders. Chad teaches courses designed to help individuals maximize their potential and chart a path for peak performance, leadership development and improved well-being. Chad holds a master's degree in Digital Forensics and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from DeSales University. A great interview. Listen here for Chad's Sunday morning session at Festival One 2019. Whether it be leading NFL players and their families in daily devotionals, overseeing a retreat of over 300 young adults, or spending time with his family across the globe, Pastor Chad M. Johnson is always on the go! Pastor and Professional Sports Chaplain, Chad M. Johnson has experienced the ups and downs that life as we know it can bring, but he hasn’t allowed that to stop his ministry. At the young age of 17 while attending a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp, it became clear to Chad that his purpose in life was far different than others his age. It was at this moment that he came to the realization that Christ placed him on this Earth to impact the lives of thousands. Igniting a passion within him, Chad returned from this camp, and immediately took to sharing The Gospel of Christ! In the beginning stages of his journey, Pastor Chad began sharing the Word by leading team chapel services for local high school area sports programs. From there, his career skyrocketed! In 2002, he pioneered the first citywide urban youth retreat, “Camp Elevate” that is now nationally recognized and continues to meet annually. His ministry continued to reach new heights in 2002 when he was asked to serve in the NFL as the Arizona Cardinals team chaplain. During his time with the Cardinals, his duties included and still include; mentoring and pastoring thousands of professional athletes. After his departure from the Arizona Cardinals, Chad went on to continue his ministry with the Pittsburgh Steelers in which he currently works for Athletes in Action. For the past 6 years he has also served as the spring training chaplain for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Chad’s heart for the young men in the sports industry is evident as he has worked with over 100 professional athletes. His heart’s desire is to see athletes become the men that God has called them to be. In 2006, Chad started “Elevate International”, a non-profit organization that serves urban youth and families worldwide. To date, there have been fourteen consecutive camps for youth between grades 6 and 12, named Camp Elevate, and seven retreats for young adults age 18-35, named Elevate Remix. Chad’s educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from Arizona Christian University in Phoenix. He also spent time at Kings University; immediately following completion of his undergraduate career, Chad began making an immediate impact within the inner city. One of his main areas of expertise is working with “at risk” youth and families. This has been demonstrated as he has served in various capacities such as: Youth and Children’s Pastor of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Executive/Student Ministries Pastor at Church for the Nations, leading discipleship discussion, outreaches, and service projects, organizing and attending missions to the community and to other countries worldwide.

In episode eleven of #EverydayEternal, Sean O'Brien (nedleeds), Matt Pavlic (sdematt) and Sam Craven (@TheCravenOne on Twitter) respond to listener feedback. We start by exploring our Johnny side, and discussing how we prefer to play. We move on to Deathrite Shaman and whether he's bannable.
