Soccer Comic Rant #476 Why Do They Play Two Games In The Champions League Semis?!?!?! Really what's the point. 1-1 without the away goal advantage is literally 0-0. Which means did they really play? Now it doesn't matter what happened in the first game, it's all down to what happens in the 2nd. So why not just play one game? Inter Milan grab a two goal lead vs AC Milan. West Ham win at home in their conference league semi game vs AZ. And the biggest games in the Prem this weekend. It's been a while, but FC is back as the biggest tournament in Europe is back for the final stages of the competition. Real Madrid comes into the Champions League Semis off a Copa Del Rey Finals victory over Osasuna that had the squad looking good. The 2-1 result showed a more aggressive and mobile 11, which the squad seemed to be struggling with. Manchester City comes into the match up not having a losing result in the last 20 appearances. The two heavyweights of Europe duke it out while Inter Milan and AC Milan will go at it in a Milan Derby for the other ticket to the Champions League Finals. After the European talk, we go into the PL and discuss the Top Four race and if Manchester United can hold off the red-hot Liverpool squad. How do you see the Top Four finishing up?
Liverpool vs Real Madrid is a fixture for ages. More so in a Champions League final. 2 of the 3 best teams in the hostory of this competito face-off in a key battle for Pride & Glory. We start this episode off by having a look at the current point in the UEFA Champions League. Four teams are currently competing for the honours and we have a look at their road to the semi finals. We also look at the results of the first leg fixtures. We then move on to reviewing all of the fantastic derbies we have had over the past week. The derbies included Man United vs Liverpool, Chelsea vs Arsenal and Arsenal vs Man United (we know Liverpool vs Everton happened as well but it doesn't to be mentioned). The gents break down the results and what they mean for the top four race. We then wrap up the episode with looking at some of the refereeing decisions that happened over the past week. The discussion sparks some arguments between the hosts and pits the gents against each other. Catch all of this on this weeks episode of Nothing But Football.
@vincetracy and @robdaniels discussed the sadness of the #Ukraine situation and the personal tragedy of Cristiano #Ronaldo. Turning to football we looked at Ronaldo's bonus for scoring hat-trick number 60 which is an amazing statistic. We then looked at the worsening situation at #ManchesterUnited. Gerard #Pique is a businessman as well as a good footballer but we do not like his dealings with the #Saudis. Rob gave us the lowdown on #LaLiga with a #CopadelRey final at the weekend. We've had #Liverpool defeating #ManCity in the #FACup and they will play #Chelsea in the final. Then Liverpool outclassed #ManUnited as just one of the many #Premier games we reviewed and discussed.
The semi-finals of the Champions League are set with City and Liverpool advancing to play Real Madrid and Villareal, respectively. We preview Week 33 in the Premier League and Jeff recaps his college glory days. Ciao. Follow us on instagram and twitter

We start with PSG's trip to the Etihad to play Manchester City in one of the biggest matches of these players' lives. Kylian, Mbappe and Neymar seem to have the better of the Man City defence in the first half of the first leg. However, that all changed when they came out for the second half as Pep Guardiola's Citizens began to press their Parisian rivals much further up the field, compressing their space and making it harder for them to leave their own box. The tactical battle between two elite's managers is just one subplot to an extraordinary fixture. Despite PSG opening the scoring through a Marquinos header in the first half, second-half goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez have put Man City in the driving seat in the tie with two crucial away goals. How important could the Algerian attacker's freekick proved to be in the outcome of this clash? But City know they can't rest on their laurels with the likes of Mbappe, and Neymar running at them all night. The second UEFA Champions League Semi-Final second legs sees Chelsea host Spanish champions Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge. Their first encounter in the Spanish capital saw the game end 1-1. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring with a well taken finish in the first-half, before French legend Karim Benzema drew the match level with a well-taken volley just before the half hour mark. Thomas Tuchel's side may rue their missed chances if Real Madrid play to their best when they arrive in West London this week. Los Blancos are the 13-time winners of the European Cup, and they have the heritage, ability and experience to get the job done when it gets to the business end of Europe's elite premier club competition. But remember, they also do have lots of injuries, so this could be the perfect opportunity for the Blues to strike and make their way into a European Cup final for the first time since they won it in 2012. Our resident host Eduardo Siles is back to preview all the best action across Europe's premier club competition. Alvaro Romeo and Daniele Fisichella are our experts in football and betting, they're here each and every week to preview, discuss, analyse and dissect every fixture of this season's Champions League. In Episode #65 of the Squeaky Bum Time Podcast, Mike and Laurent discuss the results of the first leg of the two Champions League semifinals, both Europa League semifinals and look ahead to the only game you should care about this weekend: Manchester United vs. Liverpool. Man City and PSG did not disappoint, trading punches and pressure that ended up with a 2-1 City win in Paris. Will those two away goals prove to be the difference or can Pochettino's men find a response next week in Manchester? Chelsea also managed to get an away goal in Madrid, but Real equalized leaving it wide open as the teams shift to London next week. Arsenal are a mess, but a late goal has given them hope to reach a Europa League final, and qualify for the Champions League despite a dreadful season Manchester United start flat, but pour it on late, finishing 6-2 winners against Roma--all but cementing their spot in the final. There's been a lot of talk about Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy after the Super League fallout. But we raise a question to both rival fanbases, if you could trade ownership groups... would you? Total Soccer Show: USMNT, EPL, MLS, Champions League and more ...
We spend the first 35 minutes of today's episode on RB Leipzig's 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinal, paying special attention to Mr Tyler Adams. After that, it's six listener questions: Which non-Big 6 EPL club would you recommend for a starter fan in 2020-21? If you could put a certain manager or a certain player on a club for pure entertainment purposes what would they be? What would happen to the USMNT if Christian Pulisic suffered a horrible career ending injury or randomly decided to retire from soccer? Why are English players so much more expensive in the transfer market compared to foreign players with similar CV’s If the US had a more soccer-first sporting culture do you think the US would be a soccer superpower already? Will Victor Osimhen's departure from Lille mean more playing time for Tim Weah? SPONSORS!
