Q: Where can Popfrogs be found? It was very difficult to determine where Popfrogs currently live - they are adept hiders! Using our knowledge of frogs, cryptid clues, and a few good guesses, the BCWPA team was able to locate the four remaining Popfrogs in the world. While they could thrive elsewhere, for some reason they are stuck here, in western Ohio, hidden in some of the state's small swamps. Next time: The team follows Rosie the Ribbiter - the last female Popfrog in existence, lovingly named by the BCWPA.CREDITSThe Day We Met by Beat Mekanik is licensed under a Attribution 4.0 International License. Ohio once was covered in more swampland - and populated by more strange and dangerous creatures within those swamps... From howling dogmen to aggressive bigfeet, gigantic snakes, and ominous, glowing orbs, Ohioan swamps remain active cryptozoological spots. Contained in diminishing biomes, the rarest of these swamp-dwelling creatures are a collection of amphibian cryptids; an oversized frog is the most endangered.CREDITSNostalgia by A. In Riverton, Virginia, in the 1870's, a truly horrific event occurred: an entire family was found deceased in their home - which had its own haunting clues. Called by the Department of Justice to determine if mass murder occurred, the Pinkerton National Detective Agency gave the case a quick, uncomfortable look over. Less than a day later, they determined that those inside were victims of natural, yet unknown, causes.CREDITSUndercover Vampire Policeman by Chris Zabriskie is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Source: http://chriszabriskie.com/uvp/Artist: http://chriszabriskie.com/This public broadcast is made possible thanks to these BCWPA Agents: Brandon Ruch, Colten Williams, Daniel Berry, Donovan Scherer, Kimberly Nichols, Layla Leutwyler, Madelynn ODell, Matthew Schang, Pyper Wilson, Lenin Roman, Ronald Miller, PHouseGames, Anthony Ferries, Dandan, Fox & Brambles, Jim Walke, Claire, Hallesy, Heather, HELGA, Kris Mitchell, Kylie Reed, Rick Belcher, Cryptid Clyde, T. The BCWPA's Interdimensional Exploration Unit is the oldest department in the agency. The IEU's early years were plagued not only by disaster, but illness, technical failures, and interspecies brutality. Today, missions occurring in our atmosphere and our neighboring space are consistent and mostly safe. There is much to explore. There is much to learn. There is even more to mess up.CREDITSThis public broadcast is made possible thanks to these BCWPA Agents: Brandon Ruch, Colten Williams, Daniel Berry, Donovan Scherer, Kimberly Nichols, Layla Leutwyler, Madelynn ODell, Matthew Schang, Pyper Wilson, Lenin Roman, Ronald Miller, PHouseGames, Anthony Ferries, Dandan, Fox & Brambles, Jim Walke, Claire, Hallesy, Heather, HELGA, Kris Mitchell, Kylie Reed, Rick Belcher, Cryptid Clyde, T. Have you ever seen strange footprints in the snow? Ones made from a long, large foot and having three bulky, square-ish toes? If not, you may have known someone who has seen such a phenomenon. Known to be particularly active on snowy days, "Leaping Devils" or "Winter Bigfeet" make their visits known by leaving these strange tracks. Daniel Berry says mindfulness training isn't just personal, it also helps the people around us. And: It's no surprise that exercise helps us sleep. Relationships are hard, and it's often because we defend ourselves against the very intimacy we seek by getting locked into problematic patterns of compulsive caretaking. Such was the topic of Mark Borg, Grant Brenner, and Daniel Berry's first book, Irrelationship: How We Use Dysfunctional Relationships to Hide from Intimacy. These authors explain how to break out of such problematic patterns in their follow-up book, Relationship Sanity: Creating and Maintaining Healthy Relationships (Central Recovery Press, 2018). In our interview, Mark Borg and Daniel Berry break down how partners who have lost touch with each other can find themselves again and establish new, more authentic ways of connecting and being honest with one another. In their book as well as our discussion, they explain complex concepts in refreshingly plain language so that anyone can put their concepts into practice starting now. This interview will be of interest to those looking to improve their relationships and reconnect with their partners, as well as mental health professionals working with couples looking to find each other again. Mark Borg, Jr. is a licensed psychologist and psychoanalyst in New York City who has developed theories and implementation strategies for community crisis intervention. His writings on community intervention, organizational consultation, and application of psychoanalytic theory to community crisis intervention have been published in various journals and collected work, and he has presented papers on his theories at academic conferences in the United States, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Italy, Greece, Turkey, South Africa, Chile, and Israel. Daniel Berry is a Registered Nurse in New York City with background in inpatient, home care, and community settings. He currently serves as Assistant Director of Nursing for Risk Management at a public facility serving homeless and undocumented victims of street violence, addiction, and traumatic injuries. In 2015, he was invited to serve as a nurse consultant to a United Nations-certified NGO in Afghanistan promoting community development and addressing women's and children's health issues. He treats individuals and couples, with specialties in gender and sexuality, eating and body image problems, and relationship issues. Since the Podcast Stage began at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2015, we've been a part of the fun. This year marks our third appearance on the Podcast Stage, so we call it our Interactive Fandom Adventure III! We invited Skywalkers to come up and discuss the Episode IX Trailer and name “The Rise of Skywalker” which had just released that morning. Din, lead singer of the band F-105, rocked the roof off the place with a new song, “Song For Celebration”. He was accompanied by Chris Macht. And we had our Blast Shields game and giveaways! Everyone who attended also received our SWCC button. We can't thank all of the Skywalker volunteers enough for their assistance with another great Interactive Fandom Adventure stage show. Brian Sims, Teresa Delgado Lutha, Matt Clifton, Daniel Berry, Joey Pittman, David Braun, Aaron Curto, Jess Walz, John Zancanaro, Gary Oransky, Tati Perez, Daniel Carlton, and Bryce Eller as the voice of Darth Vader.

Why do relationship partners so often feel isolated and unsatisfied despite all their efforts to show love and caring to one another? And how do they break out of the self-defeating cycles that get them there? In their new book, Irrelationship: How We Use Dysfunctional Relationships to Hide from Intimacy (Central Recovery Press, 2015), Mark Borg, Grant Brenner, and Daniel Berry address these daunting questions. They explain how parental disappointments during childhood can set one up for a life of compulsive caregiving at the expense of true human connection, which they call “irrelationship.” They address a growing epidemic by which, in later adulthood, partners use those well-honed caregiving skills to hide from one another rather than become closer. Drawing from cutting-edge neuroscience, psychoanalytic theory, and clinical experience, the authors address how these habitual patterns take shape in the brain and in the soul, and how partners can find their way out of them. The book is full of relatable anecdotes and practical suggestions that any reader who has ever struggled with love and intimacy will find illuminating and helpful. I spoke with two of the authors, Mark Borg and Grant Brenner, about how they arrived at the idea of “irrelationship” and how their skill-based approach has improved the lives of their patients and readers. I hope you enjoy the interview. Eugenio Duarte, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and psychoanalyst practicing in New York City.
