More than our activities, our mindsets can limit or liberate us depending on what we choose. Whenever we set our goals, our mindset is what determines whether we can accomplish it or not. We all have inescapable mindsets that live rent-free in our minds, but the good news is: we can rewire our minds for success and completely reconstruct the way that we think. For Dianna Kokoszka, mindset has always been at the heart of her ability to achieve. When the idea of admin assistants and buyer's agents was unheard of in real estate, she forged ahead and succeeded. That pigheaded determination is what has made her the leader and legend she is today. How does she nurture a high-level mindset that has led to her success? How do we align our innate storytelling ability with what we actually want? In this episode, real estate entrepreneur, keynote speaker, mentor and author of “Becoming More”, Dianna Kokoszka joins us to talk about her new book, her incredible success story, and how to align our mindset with our goals. Are you ready to unleash your full goal potential? In this thought-provoking podcast interview Dianna Kokoszka, a renowned entrepreneur, author, and mentor, she provides valuable insights into the powerful combination of mindset and attitude in achieving success. Dianna not only shares her personal journey from humble beginnings to the pinnacle of leadership at Keller Williams Realty International but also explores the transformative power of mindset in our lives. Take a listen to this discussion with host Natalie Benamou and Dianna Kokoszka and feel inspired.3 Big Ideas:1. **The Power of Mindset:** Our subconscious mind, where our mindset resides, plays a critical role in obtaining our goals. If our conscious mind (attitude) and subconscious mind (mindset) are not in alignment, we won't be able to achieve our goals.2. **Understanding Our Four Storytellers:** The messages we experience in our thoughts and actions are driven by four storytellers: the devious, the flattering, the reasonable, and the empowering storyteller. Recognizing and managing these storytellers can help us maintain a positive mindset and enhance our leadership styles.3. **Embracing Empowerment:** Tapping into the empowering storyteller within us can allow us to identify our potential and inspire us to strive to reach our goals. Favorite Quotes1. *"Attitude is in our conscious mind and mindset is in our subconscious mind. Attitude we can change very quickly, yet mindset shows up automatically and if those two are not in alignment with your attitude, to setting your goals and your mindset obtaining your goals, you're not going to hit goal."* - Dianna Kokoszka2. *"We all need help in some way. Yet most people do not realize that they hold the pen, that they are the main character, or at least should be the main character of their life."* - Dianna Kokoszka3. *"As a leader, it's our job to take a stand for other people's greatness more than they will ever stand for their limitations."* - Dianna Kokoszka"Becoming More is my new book that offers a step -by -step guide and it's designed after the Coach John Wooden's Success Triangle. It takes a step-by-step of how you can retrain your brain to a new way of thinking, a new story, a story that you've designed.” - Dianna KokoszkaMindset and attitude play crucial roles in achieving success. Have you ever read a book that rocked your world? Recently, Ken and I fell into a slump that lasted a few months. We were still effective in our day-to-day, yet we felt kinda "blah," as though the luster had rubbed off our lives. When a mentor friend of ours, award-winning business leader Dianna Kokoszka, invited us to join a book club based on her newest publication, Becoming More, we were so inspired by what we read that we shook off our "blahs" with a renewed sense of excitement for life. In this episode of LIFE's Inside Track, we share proven strategies we learned from Dianna to help you break free from your doldrums and reconnect with what matters most to you. It's also a choice to stick with the status quo. Nothing about change is easy, especially if you're talking about changing careers or relationships, but growth is found on the other side of our comfort zones. Another surprising fact that Dianna shares from her research is that 95% of people want to change their lives but only 5% take action to make it happen. Did you know that becoming aware of your limiting beliefs is the first step in changing your mindset? Dianna Kokoszka is a speaker, author, and entrepreneur. She is the author of the book "Becoming More: You Can't Get to Better Until You Get to Different" In episode 87 of Dominate Your Day, I had the pleasure of talking to Dianna about the importance of mindset and how to change your mindset to achieve your goals. The biggest challenge people face is their own mindset. We all have limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving our goals. These beliefs can be about our abilities, worth, or circumstances. And to change your mindset, it is imperative to first become aware of your limiting beliefs. Once you know what they are, you can start to challenge them. She suggests asking yourself questions like: Is this belief true? Where did I get this belief? Is there any evidence to support this belief? According to Dianna, we all have four different energies in the realm of mindset: confidence, optimism, gratitude, and presence. When we are in these energies, we are more likely to succeed. To increase your energy, doing things that make you feel good is instrumental. This could include spending time with loved ones, doing something creative, or exercising. She also suggests practicing Here are some additional tips from Dianna for changing your mindset: Read and listen to re-learn and re-shape your thinking on mindset. Find a mentor or coach who can help you to change your mindset. Join a support group or online community for people working on changing their mindset. Be patient and consistent with your efforts. Changing your mindset takes time and effort, but it is possible. Episode Overview: 15:16 – A snippet of Dianna's story: From success to significance 24:08 –Dare to be uncomfortable. 32:10 – When you start giving back to others, your life really lights up.
