The Master Switch of Health Controlling Blood Sugar Radio Script HOST: Welcome back to The Body of Health! I'm joined again today by my co-host Dennis Henson, we will be discussing ‘The Master Switch'' Welcome back Dennis. Thank you, Richard, I really appreciate you having me. HOST: So Dennis, what is this ‘Master Switch' we're going to discuss? Guest: Well Dr. D, it's your blood sugar. But before we get into that let me make this statement... Medical Disclaimer: Please understand that I am not a doctor. I have absolutely no medical training. These ideas are based entirely on my personal experience and my own independent study of HEALTH AND longevity. Section 1: Strategies for Control You Know Richard, I put this program together especially for you, because I know that you have had some health challenges in this area. But did you know that controlling your blood sugar is not only a concern for people experiencing problems. The truth is— Controlling your blood sugar is... The single most important thing you can do for your body. It is the key to sustained energy and preventing brain fog. High blood sugar is like pouring sand into a precision engine. It creates friction. It causes inflammation. And it accelerates aging. But today, we'll learn how to get it under control. HOST: That is a startling way to frame it, Dennis. If our health is a precision engine, many of us are unknowingly grinding the gears every single day. You mentioned we can take back control with a "Master Switch"—so where do we begin? What is the first step to cleaning out that engine? GUEST: The first secret may surprise you — It's the Order in which you eat your meals. ⦁ It's not just ‘WHAT' you eat. ⦁ It's ‘HOW' you go about eating it. ⦁ To flatten the spike ⦁ just follow this Protective Sequence. Always... ⦁ Start with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) ⦁ Then eat your Fiber. ⦁ Then Proteins and Fats. ⦁ And finally Carbohydrate, Starches and Sugars. 1st - ACV Eating (Apple Cider Vinegar) before your meal, ⦁ Signals your stomach to release food slowly, ⦁ preventing a "Sugar Bomb" flood. ⦁ Stops enzymes from flash-converting starches into glucose. ⦁ Commands muscles to vacuum up sugar ⦁ before it can damage your blood. ⦁ So, it significantly reduces the chances of a sugar spike 2nd — Fiber -- to build the filter A green salad is the perfect foundation ⦁ With a Vinegar Dressing, as an "Acid Shield." Biological Mesh-Builders include: ⦁ Broccoli ⦁ Spinach ⦁ Avocado ⦁ Okra This Mesh slows how fast sugar hits your blood. And limits the damage. 3rd - Protein— Eating protein before carbs changes your biology. ⦁ When protein hits your stomach, it triggers a hormone called GLP-1. ⦁ This signals your py-lor-ic valve to close. ⦁ It slows down gastric emptying. ⦁ Protein is a slow-release buffer. ⦁ The carbs then trickle into your blood ⦁ instead of flooding it. 4th — Starches and Sugars– By this time... ⦁ The "Biological Mesh" ⦁ from the fiber is in place. ⦁ The "GLP-1 Buffer" ⦁ has slowed the engine. ⦁ Now... ⦁ the carbs are no longer a "Sugar Bomb." ⦁ the "Valves" are closed ⦁ the sugar cannot flood the system. ⦁ It trickles in slowly And provides energy ⦁ You get to enjoy your food without a toxic spike. ⦁ So, Master the sequence and master your metabolism. HOST: Dennis, everyone knows Apple Cider Vinegar is great for blood sugar, but man… that stuff is really tough to swallow and the flavor... won't it kill your appetite. GUEST: It is Richard. It's a "cringe" most people won't endure. However, I have found a way to accomplish the process without the CRINGE .

https://naturesallymemoir.com/ Throughout his career, Robert Sulnick has been at the vanguard of environmental campaigning, applying his knowledge to influence significant changes in practice and policy. Actor Ted Danson and Sulnick co-founded the American Oceans Campaign, which Sulnick directed for ten years while promoting marine environmental protection. He has represented victims of Bhopal, India, and those impacted by hazardous waste dumps, bringing his vast expertise as an environmental lawyer and educator to the forefront. Throughout the United States, Sulnick has built and collaborated with coalitions. He was the environmental director of the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos in New Mexico, where he helped restore a coalition of environmental groups working to protect the Rio Grande. He pioneered the paradigm of “agreeing to disagree” and working with opposition when it benefits the environment, bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve meaningful environmental progress. Apart from his legal practice, Sulnick has worked with several sectors to create environmentally friendly technologies like solar-powered homes, electric cars, and eco-friendly hotels, while also addressing issues such as greenhouse gas emissions and drought. Working in the 21st century, Sulnick came to understand the existential threat of climate change and its destructive impact on Nature and life on Earth as we know it, leading him to focus his efforts on combating global warming. Throughout his career, he has also emphasized the crucial role of media and social media in amplifying environmental advocacy, recognizing it as an essential tool for educating the public and influencing policy. A gripping memoir that takes you from the world's worst environmental disasters to the frontlines of global activism revealing how the next generation can fight climate change and win. I have been an environmental activist since 1984, and my involvement in the Bhopal, India gas disaster as a lawyer. Since then, I've learned a lot about the techniques needed to protect Nature and our environment. In India, I came to realize that not only does Nature have a consciousness, but that She's asking for our help to protect Her environment. While I want as many people as possible to read this book, it is especially important that this next generation of environmental activists read and embrace its message. In this time of climate change, it's time for my generation of environmentalists to pass what we've learned, and the baton, to the next generation of environmental activists. In 2024, as I was writing this, U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres issued a Code Red for humanity saying, “The alarm bells are deafening, and the evidence is irrefutable, we are unequivocally facing a climate emergency.” This is no longer about a hypothetical future. 2024 was globally the hottest year ever, with 2025 -2027 predicted to be hotter. 2025 was the first year the global average temperature exceeded the 1.5oC (2oF) tipping point” from which climate scientists say there is no coming back. Indeed, the temperature in Southern Iran reached an unlivable 180o F (82.3oC). Not coming back, according to climate scientists, means that after the tipping point, there will globally be a “new normal” of more severe heat, wildfires, droughts, storms, sea-level rise, and flooding. Species will shift their ranges toward the cooler poles and higher elevations. Humans, too, will be on the move, escaping the heat and droughts. Studies suggest there will be tens of millions of climate migrants by the end of the 21st century. And climate-related deaths will become part of our lives. There were 11,500 climate deaths in 2024.

For Chronic Disease Awareness Day July 10, USA Today Bestselling author and renowned holistic physician Dr. Bradley Nelson explains: Why Pain and Illness Persists: The Link to Unresolved Emotions Scientists have increasingly documented links between trauma, chronic stress, and long-term health outcomes. Research from the CDC's landmark Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) studies found that childhood trauma is associated with increased risks for numerous chronic health conditions later in life, including heart disease, diabetes, depression, and other serious illnesses. More recent research discovered a pathway between physical pain and emotional suffering. Dr. Nelson, author of the bestselling books “The Emotion Code,” “The Body Code,” and “The Heart Code,” believes unresolved emotional experiences are a missing piece of the chronic illness puzzle. Over almost two decades of clinical experience, he developed methods designed to help people identify and release what he calls “trapped emotions” — emotional energies he believes contribute to physical and emotional distress. “Much of our suffering is due to negative emotional energies that have become ‘trapped' within us,” Dr. Brad says. “The Emotion Code is about finding those old emotions and releasing them forever.” He can discuss topics including: ● What science is discovering about the connection between trauma, stress, and physical and emotional health. ● How emotional experiences can become embedded in the body. ● Why adverse childhood experiences continue to affect health decades later. ● How people with chronic pain and illness can learn to identify and release trapped emotions. ● Help and resources available through DiscoverHealing.com, his company that has trained more than 15,000 healing practitioners worldwide. Is there hope when hope for the hopeless? When life fractured in ways she could notintellectually solve, Dr. Sharnael — naturopathic physician and consciousnessteacher — was called beyond logic, beyond theology, beyond science — intodirect encounter. Enter Iboga. Often referred to as “Grandfather Iboga” and known asthe “Mount Everest of plant medicines,” this“The Truth Hunter,” African root functions as a powerful neurological andpsychological interrupter, disrupting entrenched patterns of illusion, compulsion, and genetic survival programming. In this deeply personal journey, Dr. Sharnael shareshow one of the most intense and misunderstood plant medicines on earth became amirror — illuminating unresolved grief and the unconscious patterns shapingidentity, while guiding her from darkness and sorrow into renewed hope, courage, love, and joy. At a time when suicide rates remain high and opioidaddiction devastates families worldwide, Iboga has drawn attention for itsunique interaction with opioid receptors and its growing exploration inaddiction recovery research. It is also being studied for its potential relevance indepression, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's,Parkinson's disease, Lyme-related neurological complications, and other complexnervous system disorders. Traditionally, the root bark has also been examinedfor antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties. Part personal journey, part clinical guide, GrandfatherIboga serves readers seeking Truth, transformation, and understanding. Written by a doctor who became the patient, this bookis for anyone navigating loss, addiction, neurological complexity, and foranyone seeking Divine Truth where conventional paths have fallen short I almost didn't write these books. It would have beeneasier to stay quiet. Easier not to speak publicly about grief. Trauma. Plantmedicine. Consciousness. Easier to protect my reputation than enterconversations that are complex, controversial, and often misunderstood. But silence felt dishonest. And some stories are meant to be told. Today, I am honored to officially announce the releaseof two deeply personal and professional works: The Science of Miracles Workbook and Grandfather Iboga – A Personal Journey Through Grief,Trauma Healing, and Soul Transformation These are not just books. They are lived experience. Together, these two books represent the bridge I havealways stood on — science and spirit, clinical understanding and consciousness, measurable biology and Divine design. With all the rules from our society, our culture, our family, plus whatever emotional baggage we've accumulated, we often live as if we do not have permission to be our true selves. We generally aren't given the guidance of how to listen to our hearts' longing, and don't have the tools to get past our self-imposed obstacles, even if we do hear a faint voice from somewhere deep inside us. Isn't it time to do something about that? Through the process of embodiment we will learn the somatic “felt sense” connection to our inner wisdom! https://mikepoliwoda.substack.com/ https://www.facebook.com/mike.poliwoda https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-poliwoda-78a9459/ Toronto, On - “Saviour Machine” Canadian author, Mike Poliwoda's award winning book now available on Amazon. Poliwoda received the International Impact Book Award for Speculative fiction (2025) for this intriguing work of fiction. “Saviour Machine” is a provocative and unsettling collection of stories that feels increasingly relevant in today's world of political division, technological acceleration, institutional distrust, and social fragmentation. Blending psychological suspense, and political satire, Poliwoda's “Saviour Machine” pulls back the curtain on the near future where artificial intelligence, digital identity systems, media isolation, and ideological extremism collide with ordinary human lives. “Saviour Machine” reads less like distant science fiction and more like urgent warnings from the edge of the present. Sometimes darkly absurd, sometimes deeply human, Poliwoda challenges readers to confront uncomfortable questions about power, truth, identity, and the systems shaping modern life. “Saviour Machine” offers a haunting glimpse into futures that may already be unfolding around us. Are you ready? In “Saviour Machine” the first of Poliwoda's five stories, a deeply divided America turns to an unprecedented solution: an impartial artificial intelligence appointed to govern in the public's best interest. Free from party loyalty, corporate influence, and personal ambition, the AI President begins repairing a nation crippled by corruption, inequality, and political paralysis. But as ordinary citizens regain hope, the old guard - career politicians, power brokers, and the institutions built to preserve them - plot a quiet war to destroy the machine before it renders them obsolete. What follows is a chilling confrontation between human power and artificial morality, forcing one impossible question… can a system designed to protect humanity survive humanity itself ? In The Resident, a retired government employee abandons modern life and disappears into isolation, disconnected from media, politics, and technology. When a nuclear strike devastates the nearest city, his solitude becomes something stranger, and far more unsettling, than survival. Factory Outlet unfolds inside a surreal waiting room where ideology, conformity, and modern identity spiral into absurdity in a dystopian satire that feels disturbingly familiar. In Glitch, a bureaucratic error inside an all-encompassing digital identification system traps an ordinary citizen in a nightmare of confusion, suspicion, and devastating consequences, where proving who you are becomes nearly impossible. In Reflection, an isolated man trapped during COVID lockdown finds himself confronting buried family trauma, paranoia, and the psychological weight of isolation in a tense and deeply human thriller. “Saviour Machine” is darkly imaginative, politically charged, and unsettlingly plausible, exploring the fragile relationship between technology, power, identity, and truth in the modern age. The stories do not ask what the future will look like, but how much of it has already arrived. You be the judge…. "Saviour Machine is a dystopian delight - as nightmarish as they get. Poliwoda hits the mark, spinning tales that are darkly inventive yet strangely familiar. He'll not only freak you out, he'll show you where we're headed. This is a must-read survival guide in these tumultuous times. Get into it..." In her groundbreaking new film, Pomegranate, Iraqi American writer and director Weam Namou reveals the messy, humorous and heartbreaking reality of what happens when immigrants who fled the same country argue with each other over the American Dream. Widely recognized as the first Iraqi American feature film, Pomegranate has swept over 50 international film awards and caught the eye of Home Alone producer Scott Rosenfelt, who came on board as executive producer. Watch a recent interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp62vQ7O4m8. View the movie trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=usBH2x72t0Q. (Screeners are available upon request for qualified media.) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE First Iraqi American Feature Film Uses Humor and Heart to Explore Cultural Divides in Suburban Detroit “This is a groundbreaking, worthwhile story. It is intriguing and culturally needed, especially during this time.” — Scott Rosenfelt, Home Alone producer and executive producer of Pomegranate STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., June 30, 2026 — What happens when people who fled the same country struggle to coexist on the same street in America? Iraqi American filmmaker and author Weam Namou explores this raw, timely question in Pomegranate, her multiple award-winning feature film based on her own novel and set in suburban Detroit, where political, cultural and religious tensions collide among two communities rarely portrayed together on screen: Iraqi Muslim and Chaldean Christian. Executive produced by Home Alone producer Scott Rosenfelt, Pomegranate is widely regarded as the first narrative feature film written, directed and led by an Iraqi American creative team. Pomegranate follows Niran, a young Muslim immigrant adapting to life in America after moving into a conservative Iraqi Christian neighborhood in suburban Detroit just before the 2016 presidential election. As political tensions intensify, everyday interactions become loaded with fear, misunderstanding and competing ideas about identity, faith and belonging. “I wrote Pomegranate after witnessing tensions between the political left and right intensify during the 2016 presidential election,” Namou said. “Using the communities I know best, Chaldean Christian and Muslim, I wanted to humanize both sides. Instead of adding to the noise, I chose story as a way to explore identity, faith, division and the possibility of understanding.” While rooted in Iraqi immigrant experiences, the film addresses themes familiar to many Americans: cultural identity, generational conflict, political polarization and the struggle to maintain relationships amid division. Considered a dramedy, Pomegranate approaches serious topics with warmth, humor and vulnerability rather than ideology, creating space for audiences to see unfamiliar communities through a human lens. The project first gained recognition as a quarterfinalist in Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope competition before going on to win more than 50 international film awards. “The title itself represents the message,” Namou explained. “A pomegranate contains many separate seeds inside one body. Even the word itself carries symbolism. Its name traces back to a shared ancient Semitic root found in Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic, reflecting the interconnected heritage of the region. Beneath our religious and political identities, we are often more alike than we realize.” Pomegranate is currently streaming in 25 countries on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube and additional platforms through distributor Freestyle Digital Media (https://www.freestyledigitalmedia.tv/film/pomegranate//). https://alexsnider.onlinepresskit247.com/ Alex Snider, a writer, facilitator, meditation teacher and former government strategist whose upcoming book, “Sometimes You Should Be Late” (July 2026), explores what happens when urgency becomes the unconscious organizing force of modern life. After spending more than 15 years in public service in roles connected to the State Department, Senate, World Bank, and White House initiatives, Alex began questioning the assumptions modern culture carries about speed, productivity, punctuality, urgency, and worth. Meditation practice, teaching, and recovery from a serious bike accident deepened those questions even further. His work explores what happens when speed becomes more than a scheduling issue and starts shaping how people relate, listen, lead, apologize, rush, react, and move through everyday life. What makes Alex's perspective particularly compelling is that he is not arguing against ambition, effectiveness, or responsibility. Instead, he explores a more human question: How do people remain emotionally present, relationally connected, and fully human inside systems increasingly organized around speed, optimization, and urgency? Alex explores themes including urgency culture, emotional punctuality, authentic lateness, attention, relationships, leadership, kindness, and what he calls “time alchemy” — transforming moments usually dominated by stress and reactivity into moments of awareness, humanity, and choice. About the Author: Alex Snider is a writer, facilitator and former government strategist who bridges the worlds of mission-driven leadership and mindfulness. After spending more than 15 years inside high-pressure federal environments, along with a life-altering bike accident that reshaped his perspective on urgency and attention, he began questioning whether constant speed, pressure, and responsiveness were actually helping people live, lead, and relate more meaningfully. https://frankromanoloveandterror5.com I was recently on two Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) boats bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza. They were intercepted by Israeli commandos in April and May 2026. I was thus arrested and imprisoned two times, in Israeli commando prison (torture) ships and in the Ktzi'ot prison in the Negev desert. It has been a challenge recuperating from the horrors of those missions. It was particularly unsettling visiting a fellow activist in an Istanbul hospital. He was ruthlessly shot in the leg at close range by an Israeli commando. A large metal or plastic object deeply penetrated his leg, to the bone causing great pain and then multiple infections. He was subjected to at least 4 operations in four or five days and may even be crippled for life! I was also injured by Israeli commandos at the Ashdod detention center before I was transferred to Ktzi'ot prison. During my captivity by Israeli policemen at Ashdod Port detention center, they clamped handcuffs extremely tight around my wrists causing painful skin lesion blisters. My hands were swollen like balloons. I was in excruciating pain for about an hour and a half before yelling for a medic. I was finally assisted by an Israeli policeman who loosened the handcuffs. Reddened skin lesion blisters remained on my wrist for a couple of days after that. I've spoken with many activists who participated in the latest GSF mission to Gaza. Many had suffered broken ribs, broken noses, close-range gun-shot injuries, black eyes, sexual abuse, etc. All of them, however, empathize with Palestinian prisoners who are known to have been treated much more severely during arrests and imprisonments. Some of them have even been killed during arrests and in prison. Almost all of my GSF activist comrades, including myself, however, feel even more motivated, after a short break, to prepare for a new attempt to break the siege of Gaza and enter bringing tons of humanitarian aid. In addition, an important goal, however, was achieved: The flotilla has helped inspire many people worldwide to engage in direct action, to stop the genocide in Gaza, and to help free Palestinians from the diabolical money interests including the military industrial complex that control us all. But not for long. . . Palestinians and many others, as myself, endeavor to transcend those evil interests with LOVE and humanitarian principles, and to motivate the world to then. . . free itself. I am ready to share my experiences! In New Book, Ph.D. Psychologist Asks How Tightly We Should Hold Any Belief—Whether Religious, Spiritual, or Personal—and Finds the Answer Is Less Than You Think What if the issue isn't what we believe, but how tightly we hold our beliefs? At a time when so many people are questioning inherited frameworks, exploring mindfulness or psychedelics, and looking for meaning outside rigid institutions, quantitative psychologist Joshua Pritikin, Ph.D., offers a thought-provoking perspective: that growth and insight may depend less on finding the “right” beliefs than on learning to relate to belief itself with more openness and flexibility. His new book Religion Unburdened by Belief: The Way of Open Inquiry explores how tightly held beliefs can shape identity, emotional reactions, and even our sense of reality — and how loosening that grip can create space for greater clarity, resilience, and personal transformation. Drawing from psychology, spirituality, and Internal Family Systems, he offers a framework for examining beliefs without discarding the search for meaning. Other points he can speak to include: 3 ways to adjust your beliefs for greater clarity, growth, and insight 5 rules for exploring consciousness safely Why we want AI to be conscious (and what it says about us) Tired of asking “what's true?” Stop fact-checking and do this instead. If this is of interest, I'd be glad to connect you with Joshua for an interview tailored to your audience. WHAT IF OUR PROBLEM ISN'T WHAT WE BELIEVE, BUT HOW FIRMLY WE BELIEVE IT? A New Book Asks How Tightly We Should Hold Any Belief—Whether Religious, Spiritual, or Personal—and Finds the Answer Is Less Than You Think Religion Unburdened by Belief: The Way of Open Inquiry, by Joshua Pritikin, Ph.D., Praised by Kirkus Reviews as “counterintuitive yet compelling” Releases June 15, 2026 There's increasing recognition that the beliefs we hold—about ourselves, what we're striving for, and even reality—may be quietly limiting how we think, feel, and grow. But while much has been said about what to believe or disbelieve, far less attention has been paid to a more fundamental question: how tightly should we hold any belief at all? Pritikin argues that a minimal set of beliefs is still needed—but only those that make exploration possible. In his new book Religion Unburdened by Belief: The Way of Open Inquiry, quantitative psychologist Joshua Pritikin, Ph.D., offers a provocative framework for doing exactly that. Drawing from psychology, philosophy, and the study of consciousness, Pritikin challenges a deeply ingrained assumption: that personal growth, insight, and meaning come from finding and holding onto the “right” ideas. Instead, he argues, transformation comes not from adopting the right beliefs, but from loosening our attachment to belief itself—and learning to navigate experience with disciplined, open inquiry. The result is a shift not just in what we think, but in how we relate to our thoughts, emotions, and sense of self. Beliefs held too tightly can narrow perception, reinforce identity, and amplify emotional reactions. But when approached with flexibility, they can be examined, tested, and even strategically adjusted—opening the door to new ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world. The book introduces a structured yet accessible method for exploring this idea in practice. Borrowing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Pritikin shows how different “parts” of the mind hold different beliefs—often as a way to protect us. By understanding and working with these parts, readers can begin to shift beliefs in a way that feels safe, intentional, and sustainable.

Four journeys to Tahiti inspired his classic book Manga Reva: The Forgotten Islands (1931), where Art, travel, and firsthand cultural observation come together in vivid prose and illustration. This photo-journal presents the unique contact case of a Swiss farmer, Billy Meier, who claims to have met with the Pleiadians hundreds of times, compiling many layers of evidence including notes on their conversations, hundreds of photographs, movie footage, audio recordings of the craft, landing tracks of the spaceships, dozens of witnesses, and even metal samples of the craft itself. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fourth-Wall-Shattering Character Revolt UnleashesSelf-Aware Heroes, Literary Rebellionand Comic Mayhem NEW YORK,May 14, 2025 — In author Hank Quense's wildly inventive meta-fantasyCharacter Revolt, fictional characters have finally reached theirbreaking point. Furious over bad storylines, unemployment andabandoned plot arcs, they unionize and launch a full-scalerebellion against the author who created them. “I started wondering what my characters might bedoing when I close the laptop,” Quensequipped. “And in my imagination, I saw them unionizing, burningmy books and hunting me down for better gigs.” Across three parallel worlds from Quense'spreviously published works — Camelot,Zaftan 31B and Gundarland — Character Revolt unleashes a paradeof football-obsessed knights, tentacled despots, unemployedadventurers and scheming brigands, all united by one demand: new storiesand better lives. As the author races to pacify his unruly cast, court intrigue, uproariousmisadventures and metaphysical dilemmas ensue. His characters leadarmed expeditions to track him down, stage lawsuits for unemploymentcompensation and even threaten his very existence. Perfect for Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett fanscraving political jabs, farce andfourth-wall demolition, Character Revolt lampoons the increasinglyfragile boundary between creator and creation in an age obsessed with AI,autonomy and algorithmic storytelling. The result is a riotous rompwhere anything can happen, and everyone has an axe to grind, sometimesliterally Reviewers have called Character Revolt “purechaotic brilliance,” and “a riotoussatire in which the author's own characters rebel, unionize and lob insultsagainst him.” In this cleverly constructed, satirical clashbetween creations and creator, onequestion remains: If fictional characters can think for themselves, who'sreally writing the story? Linda is the creator of The Insanity Principle, which transforms so-called “psychotic” thought patterns into radical artistic tools. We were both led closer to Jesus and blessed with peace in our hearts. Even during the last two years on hospice in a nursing home. God was glorified by my wife's smile that often broke into laughter. Even in the midst of the storm of Alzheimer's, peace and wisdom was revealed as our spiritual eyes were opened and hearts awakened to know God's Word is truth that sets us free. Both lifelong Methodists and Nell the granddaughter of a renowned pastor and president of Southern Methodist University, Umphrey Lee, we were led on a faith journey closer to Jesus after the Methodist Church left us, shunning God's Word to embrace the sinful culture of the world. More than 7,500 churches in the United States alone left the denomination. A life-changing trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter opened our eyes to the authority of Scripture – all of God's Word is truth. We were drawn to the Church of Christ, a New Testament Church founded on Biblical authority. If you would like a photo of the book cover or more information, please let me know. The book recounts the journey of Scott and Eleanor “Nell” Yates, two newspaper reporters who met early in their careers and built a life together centered on family, journalism and shared faith. Their lives changed dramatically when Nell was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2016. As the disease gradually took away her ability to communicate and live independently, Scott stepped into the demanding role of caregiver, navigating the challenges that accompany what many call “the long goodbye.” He faced the daily burdens many caregivers know well — exhaustion, grief and the painful realization that some challenges cannot be overcome through personal strength alone — yet, through it all, Scott discovered profound spiritual lessons. He came to see how suffering and uncertainty can draw people closer to God and deepen their trust in his guidance. During one especially meaningful moment in the nursing home, after Nell's speech had become largely incoherent due to aphasia, Scott rhetorically said, “Isn't it going to be amazing when we see Jesus face-to-face.” Nell suddenly spoke clearly and confidently to reassure her husband, telling him, “Everything is going to be all right.” That moment of clarity became the title, message and inspiration for this book. For the next year, Scott led a Bible study in the nursing home with other patients as Nell held his hand and shared her smiles. Scott was holding Nell's hand as she took her last breath, called home to see Jesus on the same day the book was published.

goodgodbycherita@gmail.com A Single Girl's Rocky Path to Finding True Love (Author Cherita O'dell) Hello I wanted to introduce you to Cherita O'dell, an author and speaker whose work sits at the intersection of faith, modern dating, and the quiet burnout many women are carrying right now. Cherita is the author of “Good God!: A Single Girl's Rocky Path to Finding True Love.” It's a faith-based book, but not a glossy or preachy one. She writes for women who love God and still wrestle with timing, waiting, and the feeling that life didn't unfold the way they expected. One of her core messages is that dating isn't just a romantic decision, it's a spiritual one, and that idea tends to stop people mid-scroll. What makes Cherita especially compelling is her lived experience. She qualified for the 1996 Olympic Games and was sidelined by injury just before competing — an early lesson in identity, disappointment, and trusting purpose when plans fall apart. That perspective now shows up in how she speaks about relationships, resilience, and surrender in a way that feels grounded, honest, and relatable. Cherita is thoughtful on air, easy to talk with, and doesn't rely on platitudes. She speaks candidly about faith, desire, waiting, and wholeness without guilt or pressure to wrap things up neatly. Her work resonates with single women navigating today's dating culture, faith-based audiences craving more honest conversation, and producers looking for guests who bring both depth and warmth. If you're exploring guests around relationships, spirituality, women's empowerment, or personal growth, I'd be happy to see if Cherita might be a fit. For more information, visit the online press kit at CheritaOdell.OnlinePresskit247.com and public site goodgodhelpmeout.com. For interviews with Cherita, send requests to anita@wasabipublicity.com. About Cherita: Cherita O'dell is a transformational speaker and author of “Good God!: A Single Girl's Rocky Path to Finding True Love,” a faith-based book for women navigating waiting, dating, and purpose. A former Olympic athlete and licensed real estate broker, she blends spiritual wisdom, resilience, and real-life experience to help individuals and organizations rethink identity, timing, and trust. Through Speak Life, Cherita challenges audiences to stop asking God to bless their plans, and start making decisions God can bless. Born in Barbados and educated at Rice University and Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, she brings warmth, clarity, and conviction to every conversation. Visit: goodgodhelpmeout.com.

Born in the United States and taken back to Iran as an infant, Missaghi grew up free on paper but trapped in practice. At 7 years old, he was expelled from school for the first time in Tehran — not for misbehavior or poor grades, but for belonging to a faith the Islamic Republic refused to recognize. In post-revolutionary Iran, being Baha'i meant fractured futures: no university, no profession, no way to support a family. Yet hidden in a dresser drawer was a golden ticket: a United States passport quietly renewed every five years in secret. As adolescence gave way to urgency, Missaghi had to decide whether hope was worth the risk of escape. With surveillance closing in and many doors slammed shut, he faced an unthinkable choice: remain invisible or gamble everything on a document that could save or destroy him. He can discuss: · Life under the Islamic Republic · Escaping Iran · Religious persecution · Born American, raised under theocracy At a time when authoritarian regimes cloak oppression in the language of culture and faith, Missaghi's unbelievable journey reminds us what is lost when conscience is outlawed — and why America remains a refuge worth choosing. 10 Shocking Habits to Reset Your Health By Dennis J. Henson "We spend our whole lives seeking comfort—climate control, soft chairs, easy food. But what if the secret to living longer is actually making yourself uncomfortable... just for a few minutes a day?" 1. Cold Showers (Thermal Shock) • The Shock: It triggers "Cold Shock Proteins" and a massive dopamine spike. • The Benefit: It wakes up your immune system instantly and forces your vascular system to contract, acting like a pump for your blood. 2. Sauna (Heat Shock) • The Shock: The opposite of cold. It mimics a fever, which is the body's natural way of killing invaders. • The Benefit: Triggers Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs) which repair damaged DNA and fold proteins correctly. It is a "cellular cleanup" crew. 3. Intermittent Fasting (Metabolic Shock) • The Shock: It convinces your body that food is scarce. • The Benefit: Triggers Autophagy (self-eating). Your body starts scavenging and eating its own damaged, weak, or senescent cells for fuel, leaving only the strong ones. 4. Breath Retention (Oxygen Shock) • The Shock: Deliberate "Intermittent Hypoxia" (low oxygen). • The Benefit: It panics the system into producing more red blood cells and improves your tolerance to CO2, making your energy delivery more efficient. 5. HIIT / Sprints (Energy Shock) • The Shock: Pushing your heart rate to max capacity for 30 seconds. • The Benefit: It shocks the mitochondria (your energy power plants) into growing stronger and multiplying to handle the demand. 6. The Niacin Flush (Vascular Shock) • The Shock: Taking high-dose Vitamin B3 (Nicotinic Acid). • The Benefit: It causes an intense, visible "flush" (redness/heat) that forces your tiniest capillaries to dilate fully and dump stored toxins that other detoxes can't reach. 7. Rebounding (Gravitational Shock) • The Shock: Changing the G-force on your body (acceleration and deceleration). • The Benefit: It physically opens and closes the check valves in your lymphatic system, forcing lymph fluid to drain and detoxify without stressing your joints. 8. Cayenne Pepper (Chemical Shock) • The Shock: The Capsaicin acts as a mild irritant to the gut and tissues. • The Benefit: It revs up your metabolism to cool the body down and increases blood flow to the stomach lining, actually helping to heal ulcers rather than cause them. 9. Sulforaphane / Broccoli Sprouts (Toxic Shock) • The Shock: This compound is technically a mild "toxin" to the body. • The Benefit: It triggers the Nrf2 Pathway—the body's master antioxidant switch. You are shocking your system into building a "super-defense" shield that lasts for days. 10. Morning Sunlight (Circadian Shock) • The Shock: A blast of photons to the retina within 30 minutes of waking. • The Benefit: It triggers a Cortisol Spike (the good kind) that acts as a "Start" button for every organ in your body and sets your sleep timer for that night.

Now Dennis, you sent over a list of topics that frankly looks… terrifying. You're saying that 'Comfort is the enemy of health.' What do you mean by that?" Guest: "Exactly that. We spend our lives seeking relaxation, climate control, soft chairs, and fast food. But biologically, to be healthier and live longer, you have to shock your systems. It's called ‘Hormesis'. Introducing short, sharp stressors, causes your body to over-compensate, becoming stronger and healthier." But let's pause here for a moment. I need to interject a voice of reason. When we talk about 'shocking' your systems, we aren't playing games. These are real physical stressors. Host: Yes! If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or any underlying health issue, some of this could be too much for you to handle. We want you to be healthy, not in the hospital. So, before you try any of these techniques, please consult your physician. Now that that's out of the way, let's dive into today's topic. Number one is something I avoid at all costs. You want us to take Cold Showers Or to bath in ice water.?!" Guest: "Yes! Specifically, for a ‘Thermal Shock'. This triggers 'Cold Shock Proteins' and a massive dopamine spike. It wakes your immune system and forces your vascular system to contract, essentially acting like a booster for your blood." Host: "Brrr. Alright, well number two is the opposite. You listed Sauna. Isn't that mainly for relaxing?" Guest: "Well not just relaxing. It Creates a ‘Heat Shock' Mimicking a fever, the body's natural way of killing invaders. This ‘Heat Shock' acts like a 'cleanup crew,' by repairing damaged DNA and fixing impaired proteins." It also triggers a profound physical purge. The deep, profuse sweating literally flushes toxins and heavy metals out through your pores, detoxifying your body from the inside out. Host: "Okay, hot and cold. Got it. Now, number three is about food. You're suggesting we stop eating?" Guest: Yes! But not all together, only for short windows of time. This is called ‘Metabolic Shock'. Intermittent Fasting convinces your body - food is scarce, triggering Autophagy, where your body devours its own damaged cells, leaving behind only the strong ones." Host: "That sounds intense. But this next one sounds a little weird... you think we should stop breathing?" Guest: Not all together! "It's called ‘Oxygen Shock' - Intermittent Hypoxia. You do this by... taking deep, rhythmic breaths to lower carbon dioxide, then exhaling fully and holding that 'empty' state until the urge to breathe becomes intense. The body responds to this temporary air starvation by producing more red blood cells and improving your tolerance to CO2, making energy delivery much more efficient." Host: "Okay - that makes sense. Number five is exercising, but you specify 'High Intensity.' Can't we just jog?" Guest: "You could-- but you really need an ‘Energy Shock'. Sprints or ‘High-Intensity--Interval Training' pushes your heart rate to its capacity. This shocks your mitochondria—your energy power plants— into growing stronger and multiplying to handle the demand. A slow jog doesn't do that."
