""In this special New Year's Eve episode of "Father and Joe," Joe Rocky and Father Boniface Hicks delve into the profound impact of small, seemingly insignificant decisions in shaping our lives and the world around us. As we stand on the cusp of a new year, they explore the notion that every choice, no matter how minor, can contribute to significant change and growth, both personally and societally.Father Boniface reflects on the importance of historical context, reminding us that history often overlooks the small steps that lead to monumental achievements. He draws parallels between technological advancements and moral progress, emphasizing that just as technology builds upon itself, so too can our moral and spiritual lives. The conversation highlights the power of incremental change, encouraging listeners to recognize the potential of their daily actions to create a ripple effect of positivity and hope.Joe shares personal anecdotes from his experiences in sales and business, illustrating how unexpected connections and innovative ideas can lead to transformative outcomes. He recounts a story of merging two seemingly unrelated industries—custom song creation and funeral services—to provide comfort and healing to those in grief. This example underscores the theme that even in moments of failure or uncertainty, there lies an opportunity for growth and meaningful impact.Father Boniface and Joe also discuss the significance of the upcoming Jubilee Year, a time for renewal and hope within the Church. They invite listeners to embrace this period as a chance to become "pilgrims of hope," making conscious choices that align with their values and aspirations. As the episode concludes, Father Boniface and Joe encourage listeners to share the podcast with others, spreading the message of hope and the power of small actions. They remind us that while we may not always see the immediate effects of our choices, each decision contributes to a larger tapestry of change and growth.Join Father Boniface and Joe as they inspire us to enter the new year with confidence, hope, and a renewed commitment to making a positive difference in our lives and the lives of others.Tags:New Year's Eve, Small Steps, Big Impact, Father Boniface Hicks, Joe Rocky, Spiritual Growth, Moral Progress, Historical Context, Technological Advancements, Personal Anecdotes, Sales and Business, Custom Songs, Funeral Services, Comfort and Healing, Jubilee Year, Pilgrims of Hope, Positive Change, Ripple Effect, Daily Actions, Incremental Change, Transformative OutcomesHashtags:#NewYearsEve, #SmallStepsBigImpact, #FatherBonifaceHicks, #JoeRocky, #SpiritualGrowth, #MoralProgress, #HistoricalContext, #TechnologicalAdvancements, #PersonalAnecdotes, #SalesAndBusiness, #CustomSongs, #FuneralServices, #ComfortAndHealing, #JubileeYear, #PilgrimsOfHope, #PositiveChange, #RippleEffect, #DailyActions, #IncrementalChange, #TransformativeOutcomes

Can the very fabric of our parental rights and societal norms withstand the seismic shifts introduced by Illinois HB 4876 and the redefinition of Title IX?  This burning question underpins our latest episode as we reunite with the ever-perceptive Tom Hampson to dissect this controversial bill and its Orwellian overtones. Tom unearths the astonishing pace at which traditional definitions of child welfare are being upended, as we scrutinize the potential national ripple effects of such drastic legislative changes. We confront head-on the impact of gender ideology's rising tide in education and its staggering statistical stronghold among our youth, igniting a discussion on the necessity of a cultural reset to preserve our foundational values. The tug-of-war between government oversight and the sanctity of parental rights takes center stage as we navigate the policy pendulum from the Obama administration to Trump, and now back to Biden. The concept of a "deep state" lurking behind the scenes is not just a plot twist in a political thriller—it's a reality we explore, delving into its implications on our cultural identity and the integrity of family structures. In an age where the lines between truth and fallacy blur, we urge the church to step up and lead the charge against cultural lies, falsehoods and deceptions. If you are an entrepreneur, you can probably relate to that adrenaline rush or feeling of butterflies in your stomach when you first opened your business. Regardless of whether your business failed or succeeded or you've moved on to another venture, there was that one point where everything chaotic suddenly focused on one main target.  That's the beauty of entrepreneurship. It's an opportunity to engineer new things, tinker with novel ideas, and contribute to the evolution of a product or service. Alexander likened this process to that of walking into a forest and finding the perfect flower. “I have to slowly change my path. I have to change the time of day when I go out there. When is the sun going to hit? Is it going to be in bloom?” he explained.  “It's that tinkering. It's that acting over, and over, and over, and over through the randomness of everything occurring in this forest, in this total ecosystem. And I funneled through the entropy and found that just small changes have led me towards a solution.” Government Regulation is Pesticide One of the biggest reasons why entrepreneurs fail is a lack of cash flow. And as it turns out, the currency used plays a pivotal role in this problem. In the podcast, Alexander and Jason mull over Breedlove's article, entitled Bitcoin is Hope, which discusses how Bitcoin can shift the store of value beyond debt and into a decentralized network. This would stabilize businesses and allow them to operate at incredibly low costs. In this scenario, Bitcoin isn't just a store of value, but the system that your business operates in. A decentralized network allows businesses to take action on their own, instead of fighting everyone else for grants or struggling to come up with the capital to pay upfront. However, the value of Bitcoin can still be manipulated. When it comes to providing a platform where people know that their work is secured and is identified as their property. TARTLE is superior.  Sign up for TARTLE through this link here

Everyone loves a story of hope. It's good to look ahead and believe that better days are coming. But what happens when those better days ahead require some changes from us in the present? We don't love that as much. In this message, we looked at Jesus starting his ministry with a message of hope and change and learned how we can respond to what he is asking of us. Trinity Presbyterian Church

John 20:1-23 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” 3 So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. 4 Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; 9 for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went back to their homes. 11 But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. 13 They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.” 14 Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'” 18 Mary Magda-lene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her. 19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

Please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 or dial 911. Back in 2015, as I would stand waiting for the train to pull into the station on my way to work, I'd always think to myself “is today the day? Is today the day I jump in front of this train?” What's more shocking and surprising is not only did I think that but when I shared it with friends and people I knew (because I'm open about these things,) many of them said they had the same thought. I didn't really wish to take my own life. I was stuck-- Stuck in a life I hated, a job I hated, a body I hated, and in circumstances that didn't excite me or lead me to jump out of bed every morning with enthusiasm. I was simply being carried along by the current of drudgery. I thought the fleeting thoughts of “is today the day” were just typical of human existence. I didn't realize they signified a much larger problem: that I was not living my life purposefully. This podcast is about hope and change. It's about taking control of your circumstances and recognizing that you can crawl out of the pit. The awareness that you're in the pit is the first step on the ladder. The ladder to climb out is right there. Learn more at getthefuckoff.com You can also subscribe to my email list here.
