Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday I'm honored to have back on the show once again for another incredible episode: Satanic and masonic ritual abuse and mind control survivor and whistleblower, YouTuber and content creator on her own YouTube channel and Substack at the handle @MayanMissions, first generational New Zealander, credentialed counselor with a specialization in Narrative Therapy, communication skill small group training course facilitator, traditional herbal medicine advocate, retreat co-facilitator, and healing warrior, our beloved podcast regular: sweetest Poppy Joy. In case you missed Poppy's first episode where she shared her harrowing, inspiring, and miraculous testimony, here's a brief recap: Poppy is a satanic and masonic ritual abuse survivor who was born into a multi-generational incest-based family and has recently been liberated from an immense amount of trauma that her body was struggling to contain anymore. Her memories started to surface in 2017 from a few triggers in her surroundings, including: a vicious semi-wild dog on the loose, a jellyfish sting that gave her a histamine reaction where her entire body was covered in a rash, and swollen lips and other orifices. Poppy's earliest memories were related to her senses - she remembered that her eyesight and hearing never developed normally and discovered that her perceptions have been energetic - meaning that she can observe the movement of energy, experience telepathy, and with focus, she can see how black magic practices are done. Poppy also discovered that rituals are done to empower government legislation. She found how consciousnesses are connected to calendars and astrological systems and that rituals are performed with dates and planetary alignments. Sweetest and accomplished Poppy Joy has a degree in Counseling, has specialized in Narrative Therapy, has training as a small group facilitator teaching communication skills and courses such as “Changes that Heal”, has studied traditional herbal medicine during cancer/Morgellons treatments, and was a retreat co-facilitator prior to 2017 when her memories started to crowd in. At the time her memories started pouring in, she was not able to tend to other's lives while her own life needed so much attention. If you've been following along Poppy's journey, you see how fearless she is in her sharing. On this podcast alone, she's discussed everything from satanic rituals, MK ULTRA programming, ancient and lost Mayan knowledge, understanding and healing from trauma, cancer and heart-attacks, her journey through therapy with the wonderful Marie Freeman, and so much more. Today, Poppy is back to discuss some additional topics we haven't covered in depth before that are relevant right now including: the UAP / UFO / Alien and NHI phenomena and agenda that's interestingly enough been splattered all over mainstream media and how to avoid the overwhelm of this information overload we are receiving, more about her healing journey and memories, the Pyramid of Consciousness, how survivors share the truth about the whole world agenda, and so much more… CONNECT WITH POPPY:YouTube: @MayanMissions - https://www.youtube.com/@MayanMissionsSubstack: https://substack.com/profile/109233143-poppy-joy?utm_source=global-searchCONNECT WITH THE IMAGINATION:EMAIL: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comMy Substack: https://emmakatherine.substack.com/BUY ME A COFFEE: Support the show

Many therapists may struggle with finding and hiring the best-fit staff for their private practice, and that may include hiring interns and students who want to complete their practicums. So, how do you go about finding them? My guest Flora in today's episode interviewed more than 30 different candidates for a position at her practice! There's some trial and error, but once you know more about what you are looking for and what the vision is that you have for your practice, it can help to make things easier. MEET FLORA Flora Gerlai is an RP and founder of Flora Psychotherapy. She provides a safe space for clients to navigate life's challenges using an active, empathetic, and detailed approach. Flora believes all behaviors reflect underlying needs and tailors her integrative techniques to each client, drawing on various therapeutic models like CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. She's also a Certified Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist, passionate about the connection between food, mood, and mental well-being. Learn more about Flora on her website, Psychology Today, and Instagram profiles. In this episode: How Flora became a psychotherapist Launching a private practice Adding staff and clients to the practice Finding a good practicum fit for your practice Flora's advice for listeners How Flora became a psychotherapist Flora noticed that in the mental health services field, especially when it came to psychotherapy, there can be long wait lists and a large number of clients looking for a way to access care. This realization and observation sparked Flora's transition into psychotherapy specifically. Once she finished her Masters degree, Flora remained working in the foster care system for a while before transferring to a group private practice. After working there for a while and trying out this new work experience, Flora opened her own virtual private practice. Launching a private practice Currently, Flora is in her second year of running her own virtual Canadian private practice, while she continues working part-time at another in-person clinic. For Flora, opening up her own Canadian private practice was a large learning curve. There were many aspects of running a business that she had to learn from scratch, especially as the boss. Adding staff and clients to the practice Finding clients ebbs and flows, but most of the time Flora finds new clients through either word-of-mouth, through existing clients, or her Facebook and Instagram ads. Once she felt steady enough running her private practice, she hired another therapist from outside Toronto to also see clients online. Flora reminds herself that the busyness comes and goes. For many therapists this year, September has been uncharacteristically quiet, and this was the case for Flora as well. She reminds herself to stay in the present and keep going, even when it's tough. Finding a good practicum fit for your practice Flora knew that she wanted to work with students. When it came to hiring, it has been a trial and error process that has taught her what to look out for; the good, the bad, and the potential. She tries to have a blend of questions that are both clinically significant and others more open and low-key, while in a professional setting. Flora's advice for listeners Hone in on what your core values and beliefs are for your practice because they will help to inform your niche. Take your time in figuring out your niche, and be okay with the nature of the field, and how much it can change and fluctuate. Dr. James H. Bramson Interviews Dr. Doris Brett (Following the ASH Conference)You should know who Dr. Doris Brett is. If you are living in Australia, New Zealand, or even Europe you may already know her work. She is a celebrated writer who has won numerous awards for her poems, novels, and children's books. Dr. Doris Brett is also a captivating speaker and renowned clinical psychologist and hypnotherapist. I reconnected with her at the ASH (Australian Society of Hypnosis) conference in Cairns, Australia. I asked her for an interview and then stalked her and threatened to not leave Australia until she agreed … and, lucky for you all, she finally acquiesced. In this episode, Dr. Brett touches on several classic stories ripe with metaphors. As an example, do you know the famous story about a lost girl who starts off her misadventures in life by inadvertently killing someone? Then her circuitous journey leads her to three feckless male archetypal figures, who are also lost. They band together and set off to find what they're missing inside. They eventually walk down a windy road and kill again, which sets them free. Their journey results in each of them becoming more enlightened, self-assured, self-directed, and happier. They even start singing together and find a skip in their step.Dr. Brett knows that you will easily recognize this familiar tale despite the cryptic setup. She opines that the way we setup a story or narrative framework is important. Have you figured it out? The above framework is the basis for the Wizard of Oz where two witches die. One witch dies at the beginning when Dorothy's house lands on her. At the end, we all remember how the wicked witch melts (second death). Each character in Oz is a source of inspiration. Dorothy realizes she has always had the power to go back home, to find peace and strength within, and that she is not alone. Whereas the Scarecrow realizes he is smart, the Tin Man discovers his heart, and the Lion finds his courage. It's a meta-story about not doubting ourselves and recognizing our full potential. It also illustrates the wisdom of questioning authority figures, false prophets, and autocratic leaders who rule by fear. The Wizard is a symbol of false authority or illusions of power until the curtain is pulled back. The Emerald city is a metaphor for a false utopia. The tornado represents upheaval, change, and a new phase of life. The story as a whole can be a psychological guide on resiliency, the importance of community, and finding your life path after a tragic event. Arduous events can test one's soul and grit. Dr. Brett believes that hardships can lead to Post-Traumatic Growth. In brief, Dr. Brett illustrates how a familiar story like the Wizard of Oz can be rich with symbolism. Dr. Brett artfully uses this classic story and film, along with Greek mythology, ferry tales, and poems to help clients gain insights into their own life story - - that can lead to meaningful change.WCMI networking group A networking group for mindfulness-focused clinicians dedicated to learning together & collaborating for more information click here

Jessica Bross helps people find their stories, craft their stories, and tell their stories. In fact, she usually writes out other people's stories in their own voice. Jessica ghostwrites memoirs. She listens to people, she listens more, she helps them find the desire that shapes a story or theme in their lives, then she writes that story for them and with them, creating a memoir that contains that story for themselves and others. You could say that she is in the business of helping people grasp and communicate the meaning, uniqueness, and importance of their own lives' stories. Jessica is the founder and owner of Cider Spoons Stories, an Austin-based company that specializes in ghostwriting, editing, teaching, and coaching. Today I'm honored to have back on the show for a third time, Satanic and masonic ritual abuse and mind control survivor and whistleblower, YouTuber and content creator, first generational New Zealander, credentialed counselor with a specialization in Narrative Therapy, communication skill small group training course facilitator, traditional herbal medicine advocate, retreat co-facilitator, and healing warrior, our beloved Poppy Joy. In case you missed Poppy's first episode where she shared her incredible testimony, here's a brief recap: Poppy is a satanic and masonic ritual abuse survivor who was born into a multi-generational incest-based family and has recently been liberated from an immense amount of trauma that her body was struggling to contain anymore. Her memories started to surface in 2017 from a few triggers in her surroundings - including: a vicious semi-wild dog on the loose, a jellyfish sting that gave her a histamine reaction where her entire body was covered in a rash, and swollen lips and other orifices. In Poppy's shocked state of remembering what she was programmed to forget, her then partner encouraged her to keep breathing through what she was experiencing, and scenes, smells, visions and sound memories started to flood her conscious mind. They were disorganized and chaotic, but over time, Poppy started to connect the dots. Poppy's earliest memories were related to her senses - she remembered that her eyesight and hearing never developed normally and her perceptions have been energetic, meaning that she can observe the movement of energy, experience telepathy, and with focus can see how black magic practices are done. Poppy also discovered that rituals are done to empower government legislation. She found how consciousnesses are connected to calendars and astrological systems and that rituals are performed with dates and planetary alignments. Poppy is super-sensitive to cults and dangerous religions, but did not become that way without having many dangerous experiences with them. Church and spiritual abuse had tainted her concepts of Father God and her Mayan connection and intuitive interactions with it brought her to know the true heavenly Father and connect with Him more while also becoming more connected with Mother Earth. Poppy has a degree in Counseling, has specialized in Narrative Therapy, has training as a small group facilitator - teaching communication skills and courses such as “Changes that Heal”. She has studied traditional herbal medicine during cancer/morgellons treatments, and was a retreat co-facilitator prior to 2017 when her memories started to crowd in. At the time her memories started pouring in, she was not able to tend to other's lives while her own life needed so much attention. Poppy is still actively on her healing journey and already - she is such a bright light in the darkness, shining her candle wherever she can to heal herself and the world around her.Poppy is back today to discuss more of her testimony and memories she has recently discovered since the last time she was on. Since coming on the podcast the first time, Poppy has been on a road of discovery to understand more of who she is and where she came from and has had some revelations as of late in making connections with her family, others in the cult she was brought up in and around - including family and Freemasons - and how this all relates to MK ULTRA. Other topics we'll be diving into more as well today are the topics of self protection, and health targeting. Support the Show.

In this week's episode of ShrinkChicks, Emmalee and Jen zoom in on a specific theory in therapy called Narrative Therapy! They start the episode off by explaining what Narrative Therapy looks like and its four principles. Then Em and Jen share how to identify the narratives we each hold about ourselves, where they come from, how the narratives can shape our behavior, challenging these narratives, and how each version of you may carry a different narrative. They discuss that our narratives, while often self-protective in nature, can lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy. You also get to hear about Emmalee's goth phase in middle school and what it represented to her at the time. Tune in to learn how to move from insight to action! Today I'm honored to introduce to you a testimony of hope and healing through survival and teamwork brought to you by an incredible duo who are both here today to share the struggles and triumphs of healing from satanic ritual abuse.Introducing our first guest: Satanic ritual abuse and mind control survivor, first generational New Zealander credentialed counselor with a specialization in Narrative Therapy, communication skill small group training course facilitator, traditional herbal medicine advocate, retreat co-facilitator, and healing warrior, Poppy JoyAnd our second guest: 50-year-old Kiwi Mother, healer helping survivors of Satanic Ritual Abuse and extreme trauma specializing in Brandon Bay's ‘The Journey' method of emotional release and cellular healing, and intuitive empath helping survivors to recover themselves and take over their soul-light power: Marie Freeman Poppy and Marie are here today to share with you an incredible journey of healing from unfathomable events. Poppy is a Satanic ritual abuse survivor who has recently been liberated from an immense amount of trauma that her body was struggling to contain anymore. She hadn't found the support she needed until things reached a psychotic peak after a therapist she had trusted embodied Baphomet and dealt out her version of ‘tough love' as she called it.She received some welcomed help and miraculously got herself into a safe living situation and could focus on herself more. Her physical symptoms got more and more chronic until she was mostly having bedrest, meditating, doing what she knew but was unable to let a pressure cooker pot of suppressed memories out. It was then that Poppy met Marie who connected with her through her Mayan reports. Poppy would call Marie in moments of distress and panic and Marie would tell her she could work with her to support healing. But it took Poppy a while to trust, having been burned by others who do not understand the complexities that come with Satanic ritual abuse. And what Poppy and Marie have discovered together is amazing. For example - due to the age and stage of SRA at 2 years old Poppy experienced, her eyesight and hearing never developed normally and her perceptions have been energetic, which means that she can observe the movement of energy, experience some telepathy, and with focus can see how black magic practices are done. Poppy discovered that rituals are done to empower government legislation. She found how consciousnesses are connected to calendars and astrological systems and that rituals are performed with dates and planetary alignments. She is super-sensitive to cults and dangerous religions but did not become that way without having many dangerous experiences with them.Church spiritual abuse had tainted her concepts of Father God and her Mayan connection and intuitive interactions with it brought me to know the true heavenly Father and connect with Him more while also being connected with Mother Earth. Marie and Poppy's story is important as it showcases the importance of finding what works right for your individual healing needs if you are a survivor, as well as finding the right person or team of people to help assist in your healing. She has overcome every obstacle put in the way to stop her from healing - including having to leave a therapist she had trusted who embodied Baphomet and betrayed her - and has so much love in her heart that you can just feel it overflowing out of her when she speaks and through her beautiful energy. This week I'm joined by Chris West (http://videonarrative.com) as he shares his journey of embracing discomfort to live a fulfilling life. Chris has committed to facing fears, uncomfortable situations and fully exploring life which has led to more fulfillment and a life well lived. Chris struggled with personal issues like low self-worth and a need to care for others, which led to feelings of hopelessness, but after many years of personal growth work, he found deeper joy and fulfillment by prioritizing self-care and his own self-love. Chris did this not only in his personal life, but when he recently shifted his business model in a huge way, gaining more freedom for himself and his kids while expanding their capabilities for his clients. BINGO! He emphasizes taking responsibility for one's own well-being and choices, rather than relying on others or external factors for happiness.Chris West is the founder of Video Narrative, a brand design firm that specializes in growing speaking businesses through brand clarity, speaker demo reels, and website design. Before working with leading speakers around the world, Chris developed his approach for stories in his graduate work in Narrative Therapy. Today Chris works alongside thought-leaders to increase their message, clarity, and impact through powerful narratives. When not telling stories, Chris is out backpacking with his three children, and attending an exhaustive amount of personal development retreats.

This week on the Arts to Hearts Podcast, we have Anupa Mehta as our guest, who is a force to be reckoned with in the contemporary art world. In this episode, our host Charuka Arora asks Anupa about her experience in the art world, the shift has she seen over the years, and her own relationship with artists and art collectors. Anupa has been in the art world for quite some time now, and she has closely witnessed how things have changed, something she touches upon in this podcast. Anupa has had an illustrious career. With three decades of experience as an editor, art consultant, curator, and gallerist, Anupa is not only trained in journalism and arts management, but she also holds a Master's degree in Narrative Therapy. She is also the founding editor of Art India magazine, and the author of INDIA 20, a book of interviews with leading contemporary Indian artists. Anupa started her career at a time before the evolution of the digital world, and so she misses the slowness of life and how people were able to have a conversation face to face. While she enjoys her work as much as she did all those years ago, she can also sense a shift in perspective and behavior among the younger artists. For those contemporary artists, Anupa has only one piece of advice and that is to ‘be adaptable'. Listening to Anupa, it becomes clear why and how she was able to excel in her career path. As a gallerist, Anupa knows the art of building relationships. She values trust and integrity above all, and that is why she is able to form sustainable relationships with her clients, whether they are art collectors or artists. She still looks at the world in a way that may be described by some people as old-fashioned, but that is a good thing. It is precisely those values that have enabled Anupa to see through people and gauge their needs, and that's what makes her so good at what she does. So, tune into this week's full episode to find out more about Anupa and how she sees the art world of today! Arts to Hearts Project is thrilled to announce the launch of our new call for art for a virtual exhibition, accompanied by the creation of an exquisite artist's book. Welcome to the Live A Meaningful Story Podcast, where we learn how to navigate life, one film at a time. We are four friends with different backgrounds who love watching movies and discussing what they mean to us. Each week, we analyze a film, wrestling with how its story, characters, settings, genres, and themes connect to the stories we find ourselves living. We then relate those films to principles found in Narrative Therapy, a field of study that explores how stories help us make sense of life. Through this podcast, you will gain insight and appreciation for all kinds of stories, including your own. You will then be encouraged to reflect on your own life, and how to live with a greater sense of purpose. Join us as we explore the relationship between the stories we love, and the stories we live. Hosted by Derrick Hatch, a Storytelling Coach, Narrative Practitioner, and speaker. Co-hosted by award-winning filmmaker and movie buff Nick Natale, teacher and stop-motion filmmaker Joseph Wilson, and life-skills educator Jason Lynn. All Things Narrative exists to guide you towards telling and living your story more meaningfully. Today I share my conversation with the amazing Jill Cowan, Max's mom, who lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. Their family was devastated, and their lives shattered. "Jill is a fellow survivor parent, having lost her beloved son, Maximilian (Max) in March of 2015. Max was just 16 years old. She is also the mother of two surviving children, Zachary and Neave-Marie, a surrogate mommy to Jinx the cat, and wife to a fiery Scottish man, Brian. Jill blogs about navigating her journey of survivorship, and loves all things related to art, fashion and adventure! Jill was a preschool teacher, a daycare provider and now works at the local Ronald McDonald House, supporting sick children and their parents who have extended hospital stays. She loves to travel and someday would like to revisit her roots in the sports of karate and dance. Inc. is a compassionate community of support for those who have suffered a traumatic loss by suicide. Our programs of hope and healing are the first of their kind, having been written by a combination of professionals and survivors of a traumatic loss by suicide. They are based on a strong foundation of Narrative Therapy, which is easily adaptable to allow for all cultural nuance's to be adapted.
